We are just ending our 2 week vacation in Germany, Austria, and Slovenia. This app worked flawlessly once we set it up at the airport. 10 gbs per person was enough data for us and we were able to stay connected to each other via Signal. Appreciate the video and thorough explanation. 👍 🇩🇪

I have a couple of questions. First off, I have a free 3rd party soft phone app, which allows free phone calls to anywhere in Canada. I know from what others have said that it can be used with a data only SIM. However, my phone, like most others these days, supports WiFi calling, so that I can make calls over WiFi without actually being on the cell network. Does that also work with a data only SIM? What about buying eSIMs as you travel, instead of physical ones? Seems to me that could be done over the Internet before leaving home. I have a Google Pixel 6.

Was there 4 3 months staying with a high school mate who'd moved there and setup a physio that was doing well. I bought a bike off a smacky on my 2nd day and was reprimanded by my friend and her friends who'd basically all had a bike stolen at some point. I spent the money i saved on a good lock and left it all for them hehe.

Can't you just use your hotel or airb&b's wifi to make wifi calls & texts? We also got a portable wifi box free with our rental car.

I plan to retire to the Philippines in the early 2024 and I need to keep my USA phone number so that I can receive text and make phone calls from the Philippines for baking purposes. I will be 62 and this stuff is not easy to learn at that age. Can you please tell me what I should do on how to get things set up before I leave the USA. I have a Samsung Galaxy A51 single-sim globally unlocked phone right now and I plan to buy another one exact same model but with a dual-sim. I don't know how to call Google to find out information about their phone plans available. I did watch one video that made sense but the person talk too fast they said get some kind of Google phone service and then also pay the $30 annual Skype fee? Any information you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated. I plan on getting a phone in the Philippines a simple phone just for texting and calling other Filipinos and Philippine businesses. But I desperately need the capability from my Galaxy A51 phones to call the USA and talk to people in the USA and also receive calls from the USA and receive texts from the USA. And I need it to look like when I'm calling USA that I'm actually in the USA using my USA number I have right now. Thank you so much again sir. Presently I have unlimited data unlimited text unlimited calling from mint mobile and they said before I went to the Philippines to call them and add the international feature plan but the problem with that it is $0.25 per minute from the Philippines and I'm sure you're aware when you call a US bank you're usually on the phone for at least 25 minutes.

Unfortunately, newer Galaxy devices sold in the US only work with SIM cards in the US and Puerto Rico. You'll either have to get an international plan and keep your current device, or buy a device made for that region and use a local SIM card.
