jack the car up and go in from underneath. falls right out.
to snake you go to the dealer
Ya I’n the back underneath everything that’s ford ❤I did it !!!
I just replaced mine org 2001 / Wht a bitch lol ❤
Thank you for posting this video!!!! I couldn’t find the “flat” and was struggling to see how to get this off! Note I see the Allen hole but realize it probably won’t work!
See myn is major stuck on the fender side an I feel like ima break it if I pull any harder
Done it 4 times in 18 years. Got to loosten remove bolts the motor mounts on passenger side in front of wheel. Then slide motor towards the front... truth
Great video! Quick easy and to the point, feel much more confident putting in new quick struts now. Thank you!
Brother please do you have any contact details to reach to you? I have something to consult with you regarding my kia sorento 2005 model ex i will really appreciate it.
TURN OFF THE G D SO CALLED MUSIC!!!!!!
Just because they are morons
What if it doesn't make crunching noises when you turn the wheel when it's jacked up and doesn't wobble would you say the wheel bearing is okay then. I got the same vehicle. But I hear these humming noises from the front ever since I had all- terrain tires put on the front only because the Treads are a lot more deeper on those tires. I bought the wrong ones when I bought those tires LOL and I have just regular tires on the back. So would it make like a humming noise because of those front tires. There is no wobble of the steering wheel or nothing either. Any tips can help. Thank you much in advance
So it could just be the tires but it’s really hard to say for sure from my end. Rotate the tires to the back and see if the noise persists. Also I would suggest getting tires to match all the way around.
Well the last time I went to get an oil change they checked my tires when it was on the rack I forgot to mention all they said was I will need tires soon. But I'm going to go back there and have them rotated like you said first. Thanks Freddy
@@BugzKillerno problem. Like I said matching tires on all 4 is best case so if it’s in your budget do that as well asap. Hope it works out.
@@FreddysCarsaAndChaos thanks a lot Freddy I will keep you posted yeah I have to wait a little bit to get some money. That sounds sensible as well what you were saying
How many miles since the last oil change?
More like how many years 😂😂
Awesome vid bro, but quick question, how do I remove the top control arm?
It’s one 14mm nut and bolt. Remove that and then try to separate the ball joint from the knuckle without destroying the rubber boot.
Same with the escort
Domestics are all like that. It’s designed that way.
Hey Freddy, cool video man 👍 The Sorento you worked on in this video is a 4WD right? Which means, you had to take the steering knuckle out to get to the bearing. I’m seeing several videos on TH-cam where people were just simply removing the wheel bearing hub assembly without going through what you did, and swapping it for a new one that has a new bearing already pressed in it. I think only the RWD version has that luxury.
have,,, 1/2 short...3/8 flex head long handle. use them hard daily. take them apart every 3months clean and grease....amazing ratchets best part if you do break it lifetime warranty....people get way to caught up in name brands...I'm into whats going to get the job done! and get paid.
Thanks for the video, takes the worry out of trying it myself! One thing, I watched a Monroe installation video and they recommend not tightening the upper strut mounts down tight until the vehicle is lowered off the jack so it puts even force on the strut mounts and threads, what is your experience with that?
You can definitely do it that way but at least snug them before you lower it so that everything is lining up properly before putting the weight on it, and then you can finish torquing them down.
It would be more helpful without music..
Opinion noted.
Dude I TOTALLY agree with you .Just like the Ford Explosion ( Escape ) they are REALLY tripping.
its your pigtail bro trust me
Yea that sticker is a dead giveaway that that car is being driven into the ground
I bet that the owner would love a new set of tires, but can’t afford them.
Had a carton of cigs in the car, iPhone 15 and a Dunkin large coffee. Priorities my man. Used tires here at 55 bucks a piece.
Cmon man, they still work why replace em?
Do they though?
Chooo chooo 😂

Thanks bro, sending much love for your quality content. This video is super helpful. I laughed at your counter. I can relate. Hopefully you can do a video of how you remodel your garage.
*laughs in 2001 Taurus, where my alternator and battery are literally the easiest 2 things to get to and replace*
thank you very much, it was very helpful; Richard; The Netherlands
Hi
Because ford is an American brand 😂
Nice! I need one like that
You got a nice back yard to fill👀👀👀
Do you happen to know the torque specs
Looks like you can get away with a stubby wrench on it
Possibly if you have a 32mm or whatever stubby. Even then most previous techs torque it with the force of a thousand suns so that doesn’t always work haha
@@FreddysCarsaAndChaos I know they have crow foot wenchs
Very helpful video
I like it. It's better than mine. Mine is a 1998 model Craftsmen. Green with yellow wheels like a Deere.
I despise working on Fords the most but I do it because it's my job and I fix them right the first time along with anything else I work on with dealer parts so I don't have to deal with it again.
Good video. Thanks
I do 3k
Try working on the alternator on a older ford escape
I change every 3k
Lmfaooo 😂
10k is ridiculous. Every 5 k and don’t go over 7k
I always recommend 5k to every customer 10k is an absolute max
That oil is more like a decade old.
Says good for 50000 on the bottle
Pullin that pan
Customer said “send it!”
@FreddysCarsaAndChaos as most would, I like to flush with seafoam if its been a long time since a changr
Put a couple of soda bottle caps full of kerosene in the oil. Run the engine until it's warm, then drain. The kerosene will eat at the oil,
I change mine once a year lmao
Now we’re talkin!
5,000-10,000?I've always changed engine oil every 3,000 miles max
Full synthetic oil changes are good to at least 5k. 3k is way way overkill and a waste of money. But if it floats your boat then go ahead but it is unnecessary
@@FreddysCarsaAndChaos I change it when it break down which is around 3k miles. I do drive antiques with original engines/transmissions. It's called preventive maintenance. Not overkill. But each to their own.
@@kevinwedman2452 well if you drive antiques then I recommend you use the oil that they recommended at the time. This truck is not an antique therefore I’m not sure what point you are arguing
I change mine when I stop at a red light.
@@user-bc3zs2wn5z right? I give the roads that nice shiny coat every time I drive to work. Gotta hit autozone for a dozen 5qt jugs every morning. Still haven't figured out why there's so many wrecks being reported right after I clock in 🤔
