Dude this is great video. I wish more people did long term reviews like this. This is the real test of a tool, not those goofy " torture tests" all over youtube.

Thanks for sharing - it’s refreshing to actually see a review instead of another “feels good in the hand” unboxing...

I actually use my tools so I give an honest review. I still use it to this day at my job daily. Holding up fine.

Thank you for an honest review, looking at what they actually are instead of shutting on them just because of the brand.

Many people have in their mind this brand is no good ... Regardless of performance they still will think it's inferior in all ways. Good review here... Just picked up one yesterday

I'm a 300 lb love machine an had a 3/8 adapter on the 1/4" ratchet and put some serious torque on it an survived without a hiccup..I just wish the 3/8 had a locking feature

The length is for access not leverage. They should be using a breaker bar. But we all have used em for breaking bolts.
Just bought one today and I have snappy, just wanted to try something new. So Thanks for the review!

Dude I love it!! Honest review! Everyone complains they break but put a cheater bar on it. Exactly. What’s going to happen. I never broke a ratchet in my life. Snap on guys will always hate. It’s the biggest scam going. Great review bro. I love it

If the flex head on those ratchets comes loose I just bring it in to my local store. Not one employee has given me any issue exchanging it for a new one.

I'm not too worried about it. Spares are good! They've warrantied stuff for me easy as well.

I just bought the other style swivel head Pittsburg ratchet. I like it so far, handle is a few inches longer than my regular ratchet.

I rebuilt 6.7 Cummins and 7.3 power stroke engines with the longer ratchet and it got the job done but the screw kept coming out and that really annoyed me but other than that it was fine.

For the price point, Pittsburgh isn't bad for people , especially flex head ratchets but
It's not the same as Snap On . Watch my buddy Client Graphocs for failure results

The ratchets are good got snap on proto SK all of them and the Pittsburgh seems as good as any truth told the snapon is more refined but the Pittsburgh seems tuff and the hf tool cart is good I could by 1 blue point box for 1000 or 5 from hf for 1000 bucks they're the same quality so I got 5 from hf everyone gets a box and I have a spare box. My snapon box is heavy steel more than hf but just the top box is 5 grand do what you want I'm going with hf on the boxes their just as good

I fix beater cars and sell them for profit. I love the comfort grip but i wore my 3/8 Pittsburgh Pro out to the point it skips teeth. Im gonna buy a snap on and trade in my old Pittsburgh pro to do a side by side.

Bro, you should be able to warranty that longer ratchet with the floppy head. Thats about the only major issue they have.

Anyone know, does the snap-on have more teeth or are they 72-tooth as well? Either way, I'll take these over most anything else for my money.

I just bought one the other day to remove an alternator. The low profile head helped me to get into the tight space my other ratchet couldn't get into to access the tensioner. The problem was the head kept flexing when I tried to insert it. (giggity) I thought these things locked or were really stiff. Apparently not. So for that it was completely useless. I ended up running to autozone to get the belt remover tool. I did like it however for removing the bolts holding the alternator on, specifically the bottom bolt. It was oriented in such a way that a regular ratchet would have me banging my hand trying to loosen the bolt, but since I could bend the handle back I had plenty of clearance to get the bolt free. I quickly became aware that operation of this tool would require me to hold the back of the head with my other hand to prevent it from flexing, which defeats the purpose I bought it for. A regular ratchet would probably have been a better bet for the tensioner. I feel the internal mechanisms of this ratchet are more rugged than my previous ratchet. I give this tool a 3/5. If the head had a locking option I would easily rate it a 5/5.

      @FreddysCarsaAndChaos  ปีที่แล้ว

I believe they make one hat has a locking head…if not there is plenty of brands out there that do. I understand the frustration all too well. Belt removal tools are amazing for removing belts though 😂
