Noob question... but how do you wash the funnel afterward? Or is it not necessary?

I never usually wash it. I fill it with rags afterwards so no dust sticks to the oil inside. If you do need to clean it just wipe it out with a rag. A very tiny amount of dust won't hurt anything but obviously be as clean as possible!!
