A true valley girl but from the Shenandoah Valley. My family were farmers and lived in a beautiful little village called Saumsville. My grandmothers were saints and taught me how to cook and love. My great Aunt Treva also was a baker and taught me how to make great pies, both "fancy" and "fruit" pies.
Ron and I love to travel. From Spain to Kentucky and beyond we enjoy meeting people and trying new things.

Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream
2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
1 can evaporated milk
2 cups half and half
1 Box Cook and Serve Vanilla Pudding
3 cups milk
4 egg yolks
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 ½ -3 cups sugar
3 ½ cups whole milk
Ice Cream Salt (Rock Salt)
In a mixing bowl add the chopped strawberries, evaporated milk and half/half. Set aside.
In a saucepan, cook the vanilla pudding, adding the 3 cups milk and egg yolks. Cook until thickened.
Add the cooked pudding to the strawberry mixture. Then add the sugar, vanilla and the remaining milk. Stir well.
Pour mixture into the ice cream canister and place in the maker. Add ice up to ¼ of the maker, then add a layer of rock salt. Alternate the ice and salt until the lid of the canister is covered. Turn on the maker and process until it stops. Unplug the ice cream maker and wipe the lid of excess salt. Remove the dasher and pour into a freezable container. Enjoy!

Looks great. Í am a bit confused you made a double recipe on the video but on the written recipe you have 3 teaspoons of Worcester sauce for 1 lb of meat. Is this correct? You cooked 2 lbs of meat and added only 3 teaspoons of the sauce should it be 6 teaspoons?
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. When I added the additional Worcester sauce I had 4 teaspoons already measured out and added the additional teaspoon, which would make it 5 teaspoons for the 2 lbs. I will correct the recipe to reflect 2 1/2 teaspoons for the 1 lb. meat. Again, I greatly appreciate you bringing this to my attention. Also, thank you for watching my videos! Blessings, Terri

An easy recipe but I prefer homemade beans from scratch using dried beans that have been soaked overnight.
