How's the crawler course coming?

Those tire do tend to grip up a bit better when you break them in and treat them but I’m sure John could hook us up with something better. 3 make a class right? Me and you make 2 if my math is right. I’m sure there are more around the area!

I could watch some more onroad racing..... the crawler stuff is like watching something slow do slow stuff

I really think it could be a proper car. Some decent tires, adress dampening and maybe some thicker fluid in front diff. I run a 2wd buggy onroad and its a blast to drive. Have to say i did change a lot on its settings, but its a totally predictable handling car. Just let off and throw it in a corner and it turns! Only thing is, it has to be 20+C to have enough grip with the rubber tires. When colder i have to turn power down. Tested last weak some moose tires from wgt cars to see how they handled and how much they wear. Wear was real high but asume has to do with hardness of foam, setup car itself and also cars "leans" a bit more than a road car into the corners. But my guess is that they will do well on that car. I wished there were local shops that sold these cars and the parts. Then their market would probably much bigger.

Had a direct drive pan cars I use to race on oval and road courses a long time ago..

Bring it out during shop hours and we'll see what tires will work on it. Fastest cars on the track are the Open 2 speed, 4wd, 1/8 Nitro @ around 70mph down the straight. Fastest electric around 65mph. Racing Wed evening and Saturday afternoons.

My road car days ended when I eviscerated my Team Associated RC12 in the parking lot of my race track back in the day. Parking stumps and RC road cars don’t mix. 😂 but I do love the scale definition of that car. Shrunken down version of the Gulf Porsche 917. Sweet.

Yea the REO Speedwagon needs some tweaks to reach its full potential. I want the one where you can mod the rear wing with a servo for active aero.

I think the sound is the right universal interfering with the pinion/spur cover. I don't think this is a problem.

What do you think good tires for a dirt track would be on the gorgon? I can’t find anything around the stock tire size with pins but man it does so good even on stock tires I’d be blown away to see it on good tires
