It was an interesting comparison. I think the challenge of oval is the challenge to be consistent and to drive in traffic which is hard for some drivers. On a small oval you are always in traffic.
If you can consistently break the tires free indoor and slide a bit more in the corners it should be quicker. Main issue was it looked like it was gripping up too far in a lot of corners
I love your alter ego heckling you from off camera. Very funny. It's actually funnier when we don't "see" him. Great video as always ... have a great weekend.
I want to play at mx acres 😍 Its not a waste of time. Mod only run 1 -2 second faster than stock at the carpet track i run at. Thats comparing high level drivers also. Raalistically its only a small portion on the straight can you add more speed, the corners font get faster, you just get there faster and get out faster. Nice driving, I didnt care for oval growing up, but it has caught my attention over the last several years
If this was a Customworks or GFRP car and not a Bandit, it would've been a much bigger difference . Those cars are built to run the mod motors on oval with rear steer. With a Bandit, 12t is about the limit.
I want to see more racing videos like this hopefully this winter more oval racing

I use to race a RC10T based composite craft oval chassis gearbox truck class back in the late 1990s and early 2000s...

very curious the details on this bandit build. My local track is adding a outdoor dirt oval
It’s faster if you can drive. Like said in other comments it’s just straight away speed, so on tracks this small it’s not going to do anything.
If your going to run on clay with a mod sprint put some foam tires on it that have been grooved and you will have a lot more fun

Does mx acres have RC tracks too or are you just filming at big dog RC?
Watching while driving to the dome 😂
Can we get a video on the build of this car I would like to build one
Stock/brushed motors should be only for kids/nov class.
Right
Link for the body?
Want to watch a race at your oval👍
Just work harder to be able to control your car. Don’t blame it on the motor. All mod racers aren’t full throttling all the time either…
