All Ibanez prestige guitars seem to be at least 2000$ or above now :( , even the Premium Indonesian ones are reaching 1500$

If this thing's scale length were at least 27 inches or longer I'd be more than willing to shoulder the price tag.

TIP always leave the QC master volume all the way up for best tone. I never use that Master Volume.

A similar experience to chibson but youve been ripped off Ali Express sell the same for over half the price

I have the spalted maple shredzilla prophecy. I blocked the Floyd. I hate floating trems. Other than that... I love it. Great neck profile. Pickups are great. Perhaps a bit heavy on the abalone but that doesnt matter too much. BC Rich are back in the game.

This guitar is very light in weight. It feels like a toy. Its almost comical. Its not worth $1k. I wouldn't even buy it. I unboxed 3 of these guitars and only 1 was decent in terms of cosmetics. The Fishman is weak. Its a CHEAP guitar.

I used to be a huge ibanez fan boy but recently have shifted towards Schecter, i find them much more suited to me. Wizard 3 is thicker than wizard 2 btw maybe youre used to the classic Wizard 2

Nice overview However, I don't agree with everything; I don't get it, The TRS outputs are balanced, so exactly the same as a balanced XLR output, just in a smaller package.. If needed, you can use a simple TRS to XLR adapter cable.. The LT version seems to be exactly right for me; - The 100 is too small (too few foot switches and too small screen, no balanced output) - The 200 is too big (It needs to fit the front pocket of my guitar bag, and a expression pedal I don't need and I don't need 8 foot switches either) - The 200JR could be a good option; Regular XLR outputs is nice, but one switch less than the LT and an expression pedal which I don't need at all. - The 200LT seems to have everything, even a hair smaller footprint than the JR (even has MIDI). Only downside would be the adapter cable I occasionally need. (My bands backline is rigged permanently, so there will always be a TRS cable (as well as a 9V cable and a 6.3mm jack from the Sennheiser EW300 wireless receiver to go to the input of the Valeton)

that is bog standard strat 42mm nut.i am one of those 60 plus kind of guys and trick is to use strings to cut it,and never weigh down just let the string do the job.with nut files you'll always cut too deep,stings act more like fine sandpaper..takes more time and elbow grease but no problems.

I have this guitar cause I lost my other guitars through bullshittery. It's a bad example of Ibanez. I've used much cheaper even Ibanez guitars that sound soooo much better. And play better. Like the ICX120 was epic. I hate this goddamn guitar and I wanna trade it in lol

I just bought a brand-new Line-6 Catalyst 200 (non-CX) on clearance fir $250CAD (£139) with the twin 12" speakers. I think that, for the price, I can deal with whatever shortcomings it has. 😁 I have a USB-B cable anyway.

I'm a long time Tech 21 Sansamp user. My purpose is to bring a small pedalboard to practice and Church. I only need clean and dirty. With a Noise Suppressor and Blues Driver, this is all I need, and all I'll ever need. This is not for people interested in infinite tweaking. I just got mine off Sweetwater WITH an Eminence IR pack for $180 USD. Anyone who's used a Katana, knows the Crunch channel is the absolute tits. This thing allows me to bring my Katana tones to floor moniter and front of house at whatever levels the venue wants me at.

seymour duncan pickups the neck material and the floyd rose makes it definitely a good guitar but not at that price imo.

You said yourself you are not a whammy lad and sorry but I need to bring it up. For start I need to say that FR Special is not the best, hell there are knock offs better than this, sure. But since routing in this guitar is specifically made for FR you can't just drop Gotoh or any other superiors (Shaller would do I think, same specs) and that is a big minus of X Series of Jackson. But cut to the chase. Special is cheap steel therefore edges are much rounder. If these were sharper bridge probably would worn off in weeks. Tuning stability is affected but much depends how you using your whammy. Now look how sideways you wiggling it!?! You are putting force on 6 o clock where bridge is design to take it at 3 o clock :) That is something that cheap rounder edges can"t cope with. I changed mine to OFR in the end as I was fed up with this as well. Anyway, do you still have your Green?

Mine have a weird distortion when I pick hard. It sounds kind of like a dead battery, but I popped a new one in and its the same thing. They aound amazing on clean other than that small crunch.

I wonder when these tranny amp manufacturers are going to actually produce an amp that guitarists will que up for, surely some amp manufacturers have the brains to produce a decent amp and not so much of a racket that im listening to here.

I’m sorry, I don’t think these sound good at all. They all sound incredibly thin and fuzzy. I know it won’t compare to a Fractal FM, Kemper or a Quad Cortex. But it sounds seriously terrible.
