Being Honest About Living With The Bad Days (Cholangiocarcinoma journey)
Hi friends! Welcome back to TYP. As anyone with a longterm or terminal illness knows, there is often a pressure to put our best faces forward ... both for ourselves and for those around us. But, even when treatment is going well, there are often lots of awful side effects and challenges that pop up. And it's important to acknowledge that we all have bad days where we feel discouraged. In this video, I talk about some of my recent immunotherapy side effects and the physical, mental, and emotional struggles I'm currently working through.
Remember: It's okay to not feel brave and strong every day! You are allowed to feel upset and be vulnerable. You are also not alone, as so many of us are fighting a similar battle.

RIP Megan. I am so sorry to learn from visiting your FB page that you passed towards the end of 2023. Thanks for taking the time and effort to share your journey. Even though you aren't still here to chat with; I sincerely hope you knew (and your family and friends knows) how important your story and thoughts are/were to many of us.
Never stop fighting . Interval fasting helps a lot . Cancer is a parasite .
you're doing a great job ... thanks for sharing your experience ... I'm going thru a similar situation and trying to figure it out on my own!
My husband was just diagnosed with this.
She came across as a super nice person. Shit man this sucks bad
This was a year ago. I’m praying you’re doing WELL. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi everybody, I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably. I would like to share the diet with you. The soup Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat. Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready. I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. (Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.) During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. It seems to be working for me, maybe it will also work for you. I pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ that you will be healed. Amen. I would like to share the following five videos with you about salvation and two videos about evolution: Evolution vs. God th-cam.com/video/uc_W9VtzJ0A/w-d-xo.html DESTROYING Evolution In Under 3 Minutes th-cam.com/video/sWecPwrQv2c/w-d-xo.html Watch the Holy Spirit Work in Her Heart (Very Moving) th-cam.com/video/iBEoI2u6kII/w-d-xo.html Fearing The Lord, God’s Discipline & Sharing The Gospel th-cam.com/video/dES5WW66Mro/w-d-xo.html A Clear Gospel Presentation by Pastor Steven Anderson - How to go to Heaven th-cam.com/video/IXEeMWCxyrQ/w-d-xo.html The Plan of Salvation th-cam.com/video/PmkhRMPvt_0/w-d-xo.html How to Get Saved th-cam.com/video/ajWdkuvrT6s/w-d-xo.html Best regards Chris “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. I have a friend fighting bile duct cancer and I found Megan’s videos. It would have been an honor to pray for her but I’m praying for her family now%. Beautiful lady and soul. I’m better off for watching her videos ~ what a gift for people who are fighting❤️
What a brave woman ❤
You are amazing. ❤

We, our stories are so similar. I’m awaiting for the oncologist to suggest the best course of action. I’m wondering if you found any supplements that helped? Right now my biggest complaint is the awful nausea I am experiencing. I’ve lost 45 lbs in 60 days and could so identify with what you said about not eating, not wanting to eat, not finding anything even tempting in the way of food. As a large girl, this too is something I’ve never experienced before. I just ordered the essential enzymes you suggested. I find myself crossing my fingers and toes on a regular basis a lot these days. Much love and healing vibes to you❣️
Hope you are doing well. Very honest and insightful.
Ohhh Megan.....I am so sorry you lost your battle with the demon cancer....thats on one hand, on the other I'm happy you are out of the pain and torture of this terrible disease. My husband and I have been fighting his esophageal cancer for 17 months now, now he is stage 4 and doing the chemo and immunotherapy...this is his last chance ditch effort to just try to bide him a little more time. I wish you were still here on this planet with us...we need your positivity, your honesty, that beautiful laugh and smile and so much more.
God bless you praying for God to place his healing hands on you

She died October 2023. 😢
This was hard for me to watch. She seemed like such a nice person.
One of my best friends for life was diagnosed with bdc and was treated for 2 yrs…finally got a new liver donor and was in transplant surgery. When he was opened up they found too many tumors and so didn’t put the organ in. He died 5 months later..the liver saved another life. 😢 cancer is evil. RIP Jeff P. ❤

So heartbroken, she is amazing .

One of the few benefits of social media is witnessing so many beautiful souls like Megan fighting this dreaded disease with such humor and dignity. We must never forget them and the lessons they taught us.
Love the name Nacho for the cat. You have a wonderful disposition. I hope there’s a miracle.
Thank you for all the courage. I’m so sadden to hear of her passing

I relate completely with you. You are a solid, critical thinker and I understand your thought process and thank you. Everyone says to be your own advocate for yourself. Speak up even when you feel very sick and weak.
Suboxone is good ask about it and it's long lasting you can last up to three days from a half a tablet that I take that's right three days and I'm never constipated ever so that isn't a side effect that I've ever had that you get from a regular opioid it's an opioid but it's different I think that's what they should give to a lot of cancer patients

I was diagnosed with non alcohol cerosiss of the liver stage 3, it was found on my 63rd birthday. I would like to find some people who share the same thing I have to be friends with. We can encourage each other on our journey. God is good and is always there for us.
She was so adorable 😢
A port goes in a vein; veins feed the heart, arteries empty the heart.
Was thinking about her today, gutted to learn she's departed this world. Hope she's enjoying all the sugar cane and cinnamon wherever she is 💫
So glad you have Baxter.
Miss you girl, this world has lost a very bright light
I first learned of your story through your husband's article in the most recent PWI issue. I have already watched all of your videos and praise you for your strength and courage. I myself have been living for 6 years with Kidney disease (currently working at 3%) and seeing the strength people like you display is absolutely heartwarming. I am surrounded by people who say "if you need to talk...." which is awesome, but I do not walk around feeling sorry for myself and a huge reason for that is people like you. Keep it up, you are a true inspiration.
My Dad passed from Cholangiocarcinoma. This was 17 years ago. He unfortunately found it very very late. I can only imagine because he was a tough guy and was shrugging off the symptoms. I wish I had someone like you to explain it from a first person. My father refused to tell us anything. He didn’t want to upset us. We were floored. We had little to now information. Thank you for your story.
❤ I’m so sorry
Just wanna let you know that I don't know you but I love you Whenever you are having bad days just call on the name of Jesus I have been sick many times in my life I know how you feel It doesn't matter how many family members and friends around you you still feel all alone But Jesus was there in my darkest time Be encouraged remember that you are not alone God hears you.
How are you doing today? Sadly. My dad has just been diagnosed with stage four bowel duct cancer. Thank you so much for this video. This just gave me hope.
