- Since we've been hearing from some folks recently diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, I wanted to give some tips for how to cope with that initial diagnosis and where to turn for potential support. As always, you'll want to seek treatment from a doctor who is knowledgeable in the area of the disease you are fighting. But remember: You're never fighting alone!

Thank you, my sister in law has a positive doctor and she's getting her port Monday and starting 2 kinds of chemo shortly after. You didn't mention pain I noticed. She has a lot of pain. She's on morphine and fentanol now and that's helping a lot. I'm glad you're sharing I haven't found hardly anyone that talks about this. We're getting through one day at a time.
Prayers for your sister in law Mary. I hope she's doing better and is getting help with her pain management.
@@terminalyetpurposeful517 thank you. Her pain is being managed better. She has cancer in bone, spine, lungs, liver. She just had a Stent put in her bile duct because she turned yellow. They need to do it again soon they said. They still haven't started chemo. It's been 6 weeks since diagnosed. She has asteses now too. Right lung full of cancer. Tumor in bile duct has doubled in size in that 6 weeks. Ugh
Hello and welcome back
It’s true I had never heard of Bile Duct Cancer
My Mother had cancer twice, once in the Colon and then in the Breast
She went through a lot but lived fairly healthily into her nineties
Wishing you all the best
P.S
That’s a great colour on you
Do you know if you have polyps before your diagnosis, thank you.
You had I meant, thank you
