Green Beans & Ribs: Smoking Them Together for the BEST Flavor!
This is crazy, I know. Wrapping green beans with pork ribs is an odd concept, but it brings out the best flavor.
I promise: The baby back ribs do NOT taste like green beans!
Let me tell you, this is something you need to try. This process is something I've been testing for a while with green beans and other green veggies, to verify the best process to share. Smoking them together creates just enough moisture and steam to cook the green beans while also infusing them with pork rib flavors.

if you dont have a fancy griddler put them on a cast irion pan or sheet pan in the oven at 375 for 10 minutes if frozen 15 enjoy

New England style buns would make these that much better! I put butter on the outsides and put them on a pan or the grill just like you would a grilled cheese sandwich. And then put your hotdog and toppings or whatever else you want on the inside. If you wanna flip it upside down with cheese that will definitely work too. But making a grilled cheese with New England style buns and putting the dog in the inside, people in New England have been doing that for decades.

I have been using this item for about a month. It performs as advertised and is made well but there are a few issues. There is a slight bitterness to the smoke. I have tried different pellets but they still have that flavor profile I have smoked ribs, salmon chicken, and beef and it was acceptable but not close to outdoor BBQ. The price has dropped but it still is a bit high for an item that isn't used often. Cleaning does take a while if you do a complete job but no more than an outside smoker. The holding feature is a plus as you can hold at a safe temp. to let the product rest. I believe this item works better on smaller items like wings, salmon, hamburgers, etc. All in all it's an O.K. addition to the kitchen but not must-have.

It's roughly an hour, depending on the size of the chicken breasts. I know - I definitely need to make a guide for this on the website. I'll do that extremely soon! It's not in the cookbook

I didn't know why it worked but the best wings i made used that technique and I've been doing it that way since. Though that time instead of franks it was thai green chili. But the softened butter trick just made the sauce taste better and give it a better texture where it coated the wings better. Nice to here the whys behind it.

Shallow slices in the wieners is THE trick when grilling them. Recommended upgrades: do a criss-cross cut instead of just a single cut; a good sausage link instead of a hot dog weiner. Also, if you like mustard, a good mustard or whatever sauce you prefer.
I would also add bacon inside. Because I live on the edge :)

My go-to for smoked grilled wings is hit them with SPG before the cook, then toss them in a bowl when crispy and finish with butter and Worcestershire sauce.

Pre-mix the butter and hot sauce. If you use anything but Franks, try and use one without xanthum gum. Also use flour at the beginning with the dry ingredients if you want crispier.
I don't premix for this recipe - the whole point of the video is to mix on the spot and save time while having an emulsified sauce. I did link a separate recipe for those that want to: www.chilesandsmoke.com/creamy-buffalo-sauce/
@ You missed the point of having cooler butter, which emulsifies into the hot sauce making it creamier and helps to minimize the sauce separation. Cold butter will drop the temp of the wings too much, room temp is perfect.
