SMOKED TURKEY BREAST Done Right – Juicy Meat, Simple Process, Killer Flavor.
Smoked turkey breast doesn't need to be boring! This process is similar to what you'd see from a Texas style smoked turkey, cooked low and slow and wrapped with a little butter to produce an exceptionally juicy turkey breast. There's plenty of smoke flavor, juicy meat, and you'll still have a tasty bark.
Use this same process to smoke turkey breast on a pellet grill or charcoal grill. I'm using an indirect method on my Weber, but it works just fine with any grill as long as you focus on temperature.

Split the hot dogs, that way you have cheese and hot dogs all the way through
That’s what we are doing this year - feel like a whole bird goes to waste compared to just cooking a turkey breast

notice no temp taken right after unwrap so secret FK-All USDA guidelines 😅
It won't be 165°F after I unwrap. It climbs to 165°F+ while resting and then drops. I'm probably slicing it around 140-150°F. I've cooked and tested these for years, that's why I'm sharing it with confidence.

Hey John! The grease trap is in the front on the left, so I don't want it tilted backwards. Also unfortunately I have a little extra tilt in the location I'm filming in due to the pavers - nothing I can do for that. Thankfully that's not where I typically keep the griddle!

@ttaffaro Any sweet soda is a great choice. Just pour a can or two over everything and let it braise, covered. When it's pulled, mix it all together and let it go a little while longer uncovered to thicken up the juices and soda.

I did a pulled ham last year for the first time. It’s amazing. Now I’m just looking at a bunch of different videos to get some tips to perfect it. Going to do another one this year for thanksgiving. Anyone questioning if it’s worth trying, it’s a resounding yes.
