I’ve planted your screen product. It blew away a major seed company’s screen. But I am now concerned that in my fifth year my soil may be toast - depleated too much. Could I plant Switch Grass behind it? Would a good summer annual clover grow well behind it?

Great idea. I've been doing it for several yrs in central WI. Also, if you have plans for a smaller corn plot, the deer generally destroy it while it's growing. Sorghum is a great replacement.

I would love to frost seed some switchgrass in southern Ohio in March while shed hunting. Do I have to spray first? I’m 11-12 hour drive so time is critical. Thank you. Your switch that I got in the first week of June is about 10”-18” and spotty due to NO rain. Willing to keep trying.

How big are these bedding areas/diversity pockets? How many would you put on 5 acres? Thanks.

Congratulations! He's a trophy for sure. I'm not big on hunting when its really cold, but back in the day i used to read articles in Outdoor Life about how the biggest bucks move in the coldest days. Especially where there's food. And also after a bad snow storm that might last 2 or 3 days. Great information with a great story. Looking forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing ❤

I totally agree with your favorite dates being early October and December for hunting big bucks. Not many hunters want to spend the time it takes to pattern bucks during those dates and would rather harvest during the rut. Congratulations on a great buck! Love your channel. Deer do the same thing with clover blend plus on my plots in VT. They keep coming back until the snow just gets too deep for them.l then they move to lower ground. Ordering 10lbs for spring! Keep on keeping on guys!

That blend at my place in SE MN with no snow cover got eaten to the ground even with the uber cold temps. Amazing
