Great video John, I love micro plots and have a few scattered around my property, their great at keeping movements going between bedding and the larger food sources.
North central Indiana finally got some rain! My winter rye is there..but it needed a drink so badly. Water levels here are the lowest I've seen in my lifetime. Waterholes have been very, very busy by every creature we have...even owls at nite time.
EHD has hit my area really hard this year so hunting season has been incredibly slow. I’m hoping the silver lining is that I will be able to get a plot established finally with less deer pressure. I’ve used your products for several years and always get get great germination but the deer hit it so hard it never makes it past a seedling
Great information John that everyone should be using if they have the opportunity. I have a micro plot with mock scrape, waterhole planted in Seclusion 360 with a topping of radishes. I've sat that stand 3 times this year and have had opportunities on bucks each time. Vote RED please if you care about America and your family
I like winter pears and sweet crab apples. They hold fruits into hunting season here. Where as domestic apples have mostly all dropped by hunting season here. Also planted oaks. My property is in a deer wintering complex too. But I don't go U.P. there for deer hunting usually. As lower peninsula has way more deer and more licenses available.
What about when your largest plot is like a half acre, is that still considered the main destination food plot? And you can still have smaller food plots around it?
Thanks john

Fruit trees are a great addition to food plots.
An overview diagram on the white showing how it all connects together would be helpful, thx
That's what whs does he has some in his channel
Good info. Question from middle tenn. What grain would work for my area? When there has been little to no rain in 3-4 months
Rye oats combo or rye /wheat combo
