I absolutely love the no nonsense approach that John takes. Not trying to push anything that hasn’t been proven. Not trying to push something that he knows will sell just because people are not educated.

So excited that you guys are venturing together to help the food plot community. I've talked to Brad a couple times about his products and he always responded and answered my questions, especially about Liquid Lime. I will be ordering soon!

I used Brad’s liquid lime last year for the first time and had great results! You definitely want to make sure mix the product very well in your tank, clean out your screen filter before starting and definitely use sprayer nozzles with a bigger opening. I learned this the hard way but when I got right it was easy and has great success!

We use a 4 gal. backpack sprayer. How much do we use for 1/4 acre plots? Do you mix 1/4 of the gallon jug into a 5 gallon bucket and use per plot?

Looks good. Had some of the older stuff that turned into a brick. How thick is this stuff and how long will it keep without bricking up?

OK guys, how do I get it to spray better out of my set up? I have now used 2 jugs of the previously supplied liquid lime, both times I mixed the solutions as indicated on the jug and I removed the screens before the nozzles on my boom. Both times I had less then perfect results with nozzles clogging. I'm not throwing in the towel yet, however I'm struggling. Still a big fan of both you guys for pushing products to help us diy'ers get great results from our hard work in the field!

Can you adjust your nozzle spray tip? I've had the same issue and just closed the pattern down a bit to get a spray/stream to get it through the sprayer-line more efficient.

      No
      Not even close
That is brown and from calcium chloride. The same stuff that is sprayed on highways before a snow storm to prevent ice from forming.
Ours is from calcium carbonate and is white.

So is the liquid calcium more or less a gypsum equivalent?

    • @bradharper1102
      @bradharper1102 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

It’s going to be much better than. Gypsum. It’s more efficient and can get much more calcium to the plants with very little amounts

Gotcha, my bigger concern is the extremely heavy clay soils. The plot I’m looking to start has several winter springs, so how long does the increased permeability last? Should it be applied annually?

How many lbs of pelletized lime does 1 gallon of liquid lime equate to?

    • @HarperGrowingSolutions

      Hey Brad,
I have some of your calcium and lime from your prior producer. Can I mix them and spray into an established clover plot?
I don’t want to hurt the clover but based on the soil test the ground needs lime and calcium. Thoughts?
I saw your prior answer but just want to ensure the lime can be sprayed as well. I plan to mow the clover in August and wanted to spray then as well.
