If you didn't bother with the spigots at the bottom of every loop, the water would just blow through to the LAST lowest position, which should just be the water separator. I use a tranny cooler and it works that way. The lowest part is a drop line to the water sep and it catches it all. So far, I have had zero water in the tank, since the cooler is after the comp and before the tank.

i know this an old video but anyway, to take the lower trim off, the best way is it slides out sideways, that windscreen was a new aftermarket glass, can tell by the tinted part around the screen, to get the windscreen out, the best way is with wire with wooden handles at each end (wire wrapped around wood or anything that is comfortable in your hands to make handles and have someone on the inside of the cab and another on the outside and like saw the seal with the wire, then push the screen out with your feet from the inside with even pressure, did a few myself without issues Geee! that cowl waS a very shonky repair previously, you did pretty well to fix it up to my knowledge, all tonners had HQ cowls from factory because the tonners had HQ front clips on them from factory right up to the HZ, but many have been swapped over the years to suit HJ - HZ fronts panels, which probably why someone glued the HJ - HZ quarter cowls on as well as to hide the rust haven't you heard of the Fidge magnet trick to check for bog when buying a car

Dude, you're supposed to pipe the air from the head into the cooler before it goes into the storage tank. Then have the finish filter on the wall before it feeds the tools.

have you fitted the bumper bar yet ? you mightnhave some issues with you outer bracket I am currently fitting one of the astra pumps to my hq tonner using ATR pump bracket which puts the pump exactly where you did.

No need for silver solder. I used regular soft solder on the copper airline in my shop some 45 years ago. My aircompressor was set at 150 psi i have not had 1 issue with the fittings leaking or blowing off in all that time. To use silver solder. Especial the staysilv 45 you will need a bazing torch and a real good idea to purge with nitrogen. Since i do not have nitrogen but i do have argon that is what i will use to purge the line with. When using silver solder. 14:24 14:24 14:24 14:24 Purging with either will give you a pristine inside of pipe after soldering. But with soft solder get you a small bottle of propane. Propane does not burn as hot as map gas. And it will make your soldering go about a 100 times smoother not to mention at a fraction of the cost. I just recently had to replace my champion air compressor after 45 plus years. I gave $ 1200 us for it in 1977. That was a fortune by the way. But i have used it regularly. So i have gotten my moneys worth from it. I decided to build this system post compressor and pre tank and post tank To elimenate water in tank. Along with particulate/ water filter seperator in both systems prior to air getting to regulators/ filters. From what i have read is that it takes about 35 to 50 ft of airline to sufficently cool and condense the water from the air in this passive system. The nice thing about your method it doesnt require any electricty to work. Even though i could have put an air dryer from harbour freight in cheaper up front cost. Im looking forward to know how this works for me. Good luck mate.

Four years after your video. It was what i am trying to do.. I searched lot.. But yours is same what i am doing.. Instead rect. Tube.. I have 1" sq. Tube. If i have watched your video before.. I would go for rect tube. Instead of above the frame, i placed all tubes inside rhe frame.. I faced problem.. Still working on it.. Your video helped further tonhave extension.. Intially no idea for me to extension pipes.. Now i will doo the same as u.. Thank you..
