I will look at getting my bench seat done again in the matching vinyl one day.

Funny how people get so wound up on Ford in Holden or vise versa. End of the day it's a full custom build they could be from anything and if you love them that's all that matters!! I'm running seats from a late 80's Ford TX5 Turbo, used the rear headrests for the front to keep the profile low and had them re trimmed for my HQ Ute. They look mint and everyone always comments on how nice they sit in the cab. Interior looks Mint Mate clean, simple and suits the custom build.

I have to say that originally I wasn’t taken on the dash but now that it’s done and trimmed out it looks really really fargin noice….well done on the design and fore thought to get to what it now is….mint ! 👍 The colour is outfargin standing ! No joke, it’d give a jellyfish a chubby ! 🤣👍 Can’t wait for the tray build.

Sam, I have been hanging out for this update and you haven't disappointed. Attention to detail, the futuristic dash, the billet wheel and door mechanisms, the seat inserts, everything, it's just awesome. Not sure about a center console, the decision on the colour alone would do my head in. Anyway, one step closer to the end product. Bring it on.
Yeah Sam you nailed it. Just the right mix of colours to compliment each other without dominating or over powering each other. Black trim on seats was master stroke. Let the trimmer come up with some console concepts I reckon. Personally don't think you need it.
The interior looks like quality work and the colours work perfectly. The shades of brown are close enough to the body colour to look like they belong there, yet different enough to provide some contrast, especially with the black accents. The clean, simple style of the dash looks classy, very "custom" but easy to read/operate. Have you got a cover for the fuse panel? A custom piece on that could look good, maybe in black metal to match the other accents and, of course, with the channel logo on it. It's going to be a beautiful rig and the end must be in sight now. Haven't heard you mention a name for this beastie; is that likely to happen? If we knew if this is a 𝐡𝐞, a 𝐬𝐡𝐞, or an 𝐢𝐭, I'm sure there'd be a few suggestions.👍😁

Looks good. Having worked in vehicle compliance I would be concerned with the removal and modification to safety systems within the cabin, but this your vehicle and you absolutely should build it to your taste.

Super clean and tasteful interior bud! I love the interior colour but am 50/50 with it against the yellow paint. Regarding the seats, who cares what they started as, they are a great fit :)
That pretty well sums up my thoughts aswell... I'm not huge on brown/black combo (pick one imo), but the interior on this isn't bad, I would've said make the black a dark brown. Then yeah, matching it with the paint. The "double brown" I mentioned would look good on a dark green or blue. But the yellow I think deserves an all black interior.

Totally agree , ford / holden , who gives a crap, both Aussie made cars. Be sure to include some black in the console, even some chrome strips might add some bling. The colour ? is it ford festiva metalic yellow ? I have a WB van , still wondering if the yellow might be a bit too much on it , but it looks great on the tonner. Unlike yours mine will be less than 10 grand all up , because thats as much as I can afford. Most of the work is being done by myself, with exception to the seat , seperated reclining bench and some panel beating. Sometimes you have to know your limits.
