Hey Sam another great job. Very interested in the up coming vid on the wiring install. I also been looking at the EZ kit to rewire my HZ 304 injected tonner. Please show a in depth step by step of the whole install even if it takes a couple of episodes to film Hah! Hah! Keep up the great work!!
Cheers Carl. I think the brown will look nice. Black/Grey has been done a lot. Have not seen heaps of brown but I notice a lot of newer lambos and ferraris get wrapped in similar colours so that shows the latest trends.
G'day Sam Just stripping the nose cone on my hx. How did you get into the strip below the headlight on top of that eye brow section? It's a bugger of a spot to get at? Love the progress, inspires me to get out to the shed and push on.
I have 2 Victorian rego cars in Queensland for the last 4 years, registered to my Queensland address with a garaged address in Victoria, so many tourists drive around here I’ve never been pulled over, I wouldn’t stress about SA rego here, loving the build 🔥
Another informative episode, Exceptional work on this build Well Done Cobber!!..... I've been waiting to see how your guard order turned out before I ordered mine.... It seems from your experience and comments below Mr Mudguard is another frustration in the supply chain I am yet to fight.
Was a bit of a frustrating experience but im glad they were able to swap the original ones I ordered. They were ok to deal with but it was just the time it took to get them...
@@ShenkeGarage it’s going to look mental. It’s making me want to go a dna basecoat. You must be stoked to be getting so close? I know I was when I finished painting my vh. It’s nice to stand back and see all the hard work done.
Interestingly enough, I just got my order from Mr. Mudguard today. Ordered DR1230 after a 6 month wait, they called up and said they 1230's weren't in the shipment so had to chose between 1130 or 1330...I went the 1330. I totally understand your frustration
Very frustrating indeed Mate. I just got my DR1228 the other day and they fit nice now. Took so long but got them now at least. The wider 1330's prob will be ok as will make tyres look wider?
QLD rego, Man you just put your heart ,soul ,blood sweat , gears into a fine machine , then sum CU/NT wants to drill a couple holes and insert pop rivets. Should not be happening in todays computer WIZBANGERY world.
I agree Darryll, I can’t stand those QLD mod plates. Most of these mod plates are poorly fitted and I’ve seen so many where the mods are scratched onto the plates. These look houso as… QLD roads, RTA or whatever they are called this week need to lift their game. It would be a shame to damage this great looking 1 Tonner by some knuckle head from the RTA screwing/pop riveting a mod plate to it.

Might find yourself in a sticky situation with the boys in blue or your insurance if in an accident?

That colour looks even better sitting on the chassis with the motor 👌👌👌
Agree Mate. Looking forward to getting the rest of the panels to see what it looks like

looking good with the cab on and that colour against the black with the chrome looks mint 👍
Thanks Mate. Was good to get the cab on for the last time :)
Dude! That looks good, love the interior contrast colour. Upholstery definitely an outsource jobby!
Thanks Mate. Upholstery is defs an experienced profession. Agreed
Hey Sam, love the back-story to the name. This is one mint build. Before you revealed the name, the Mrs came up with 'Tonne Of Gold'.
Thanks Mate. Glad you like the build. Hahah thats a good one but I dont think it would fit on the number plates.
Hey man curious to know where you got your ez wiring harness from cheers
Another awesome episode mate. Love the name, love the colour, love the plans!! And yes, that is a bit dodgy haha.
looking good mate , glad the tins of color was all good

Hahaha I think maybe they can put them on the A pillar in the door jams. Might not be as bad there....
