Hey Shenke, I'd recommend looking up the APC product EPO100T, it's a 100% solids 2 component epoxy floor coating sold mostly to professional installers but available to the public in bulk quantities at a reasonable price. I did my shed floor with it a few months back, it's not the easiest process out there and ideally you'd want a helper, but it seems to be very hard wearing so far.
Great job mate. I have the same purlins in mine and was wondering where you got the hooks that you've used around the air compressor area to hang your hose etc. off.
Absolutely Mate. Have not had any issues with it. The thing rips. Milwaukee and DeWalt are relatively comparable. I did watch a versus video between the 2 and I think Milwaukee came out slightly better. I got the DeWalt due to having everything else DeWalt.
Got the same shed kit sitting here showed up last week after 12 week wait time to manufacture and deliver,,, cant wait to start erecting it ,, all this damn rain held me up month now , think it was only 600 more to go 2.7 walls so i did after listing to your advice , i went slate gray with cream roof .. i also plan to fully insulated it in high quality 4mm bubble foil i purchased of a supplier at just over $200 per 30 meter roll need 5 rolls to do walls aswell as roof
@@ShenkeGarage thanks mate glade slab got layed yesterday boys boxed and poor 11.5 meter she ate up with 10 peers and 450 beam took 8 hours to complete , reactive clay $2700 just in mud , slab cost me just on 7k all up with machines levelling out and steel and labour pump truck as well , not cheap process shed building lol back to work :)
Hey mate, great update. I am doing a similar shed now and used some of your tips (insulation, garage openers). Any reason you didn't run the water and electrical up through the slab? I am trying to figure it out before pour. Also, does the wall sheeting go down beside the slab? If so how far down the slab?
super keen on more shed vids, i have the exact same shed as you with the exception of having one roller door rather than 2 (third bay) i also have a pedestrian door where your compressor is. i have six weeks off starting in May and im going to be tackling it. i have 2 projects so space is at a premium! Look forward to seeing the ute when it comes back from the trimmers. Cheers mate
Hey fella, lovin the vids. You’ve givin me plenty of inspiration during my shed build and hq toner build. For your ridge capping/inso problem, when I did mine I ran the insulation paper the whole wAy over before sheeting. This stops any dust or anything coming down the ridge and fully sealing your roof. I also poured my concrete after shed was erected to seal bottom. 😅 Because you’ve already sheeted roof, you can get bitumen foam strips that have the corrugation profile already cut into them. Pretty sure you can get them from Bunnings aswell, They are designed to tuck in under your ridge cap to seal those gaps to prevent embers/ dust n leaves getting in there in bushfire areas. Easy to install, just loosen ridge screws tuck under and retighten as you work your way along 👍
Hey Mate thanks for the advice. I wish I done all that when I started the shed build. I ended up using sikaflex on the roof capping and works pretty well until I end up putting insulation in.
@@ShenkeGarage I already used it for my upcoming video 🔥🔥 been amazing! Also I’ve been using WD40 to clean the top, it cleans all the soot off after the job aswell as protects it from surface rust, stops blobs sticking to it too!
You could line the inside of your shed with recycled fridge panel cut it to sise and put it between the chaneling that the tin sheats attach to it will make it heaps cooler its just a thought
for the shit coming through the roof at Bunnings they sell corrugated sponge strips, That goes in between the corrugated and the flashing it’s only cheap as well it will fix the problem
have a look at foilboard for your insulation, mate put it in under his roof and on the walls because he was like you and didn't do it when he began the build when he could have used the rolled stuff. it's easy enough to put up and cut if you need to, 2.4x1.2 sheets with different thicknesses depending on what you want. he used 15mm and it works well as his shed was always in full sun , made some brackets from alley angle to screw to but he didn't have top-hat like you to screw it to instead had z purlin. tape the joints as you go so you can move forward with whatever you are standing on. the boards made a big difference to how hot it was getting.
@@ShenkeGarage you can buy it at all the hardware places, get the proper washers and foil tape , a sharp knife to score and cut if you need and maybe even higher a ceiling sheet jack to hold it up for you to fix it in place. an extra set of hands will make it easier but not necessary, once you work out how you are going to do it's not a hard job 👍
@@ShenkeGarage should be able to get most of it done in a day depending on how you lay out the way you want to put it up, the washers/square fasteners come with ether metal or wood screws or just the washer with nothing. it's foilboard's own setup so where you buy it should stock them . a tip think about your layout before you start and try to do it with the least amount of chopping
To save you sikaflexing the roof Ridge gaps when ya install ya insulation just run full lengths strip's gutter to gutter over the perlins That way shit can't drop down
Cheers for the advice Mate. I already sealed it up after I filmed the video. Just used the sika and didnt take too long. At least its all sealed up now until I do some insulation
Great video, always great to see how other guys sheds are coming along and how they have set them up!!
Thanks Mate. Agreed. Good to share ideals on setup :)
Australians love their sikaflex 👍great update
Hahah you are most likely right there
Nice shed Sam. I’m looking forward to seeing the Tonner back from the trimmers.
Thanks Big Al. Hopefully in a couple of weeks
Nice vid mate. Keep shed setup content coming
i used that expanding foam to block those holes in the roof

Hey Mate I just made up all the hooks
My favourite TH-camr to watch when I’m suspended😹😹😹
Just wondering what size ply wood did you use on your walls thank you.. thickness
Hey Mate I think it was 16mm plyboard. Was just second cuts from bunnings so a bit cheaper

How do you find the Dewalt 1/2 " impact drivers are they robust enough for trade use?

I had the same issue with the ridge capping and leaves blowing under it, I wedged pool noodles in the gap in the middle, worked a treat 👍
Haha the old pool noodle trick. I ended up using the sikaflex and sealed it up. Should of just used the noodles ha

did they turn the low ends up in the iron before they put the ridge capping on,otherwise it will let all shit to blow under the capping.
Hey Mate yeah they turned them up but there was still a bit of a gap where dirt and leaves were getting through.
Hey mate, what are the electric rollar door motors? Can you get them from Best Sheds?
I will have to find out. A Mate that deals with them done it for me. They weren't overly expensive
