Looks killer Sammy great to see you back into it mate.. Don't ever think your content is boring bloke never once to date has it been mate.. Head board come up mint Sam 👌 💪 👍
Attention to detail impressive as always - measure six times then once more then cut or weld 😂 Outcome speaks for itself - looks killer mate and love the infills
Definitely keep filming mate, the new video was definitely over due. Love watching the progress, the builds looking great. And I agree with what the other guys said about worrying about the wheels last. I reckon just focus on what you got now and then worry about the wheels. And in my opinion, I reckon the rims looks great
Glad you went with Beauderest exhaust, just a heads up don't take long to paint it as it will rust from where you have touched it I also painted mine inside to stop rusting from the inside out. The headboard looks tough you are doing a excellent job. Cheers
My 2c mate; do a vid of the next lot of work- never know what comes out of it. Wheel choice is subjective- keep your current ones until the end of the build then make a choice. Keep up the good work👍🏻
I know it’s old school and I’m probably showing my age now but B45 star Simmons Or the Gold mesh Simmons from same era look awesome on the H series cars!! Also the wheels on it now look great also!! It is an old car so older wheels in my opinion would suit it better!! Great job on the headboard and tray also!!
Also asking car guys for opinions on wheels? Your YT comment algorithm will blow up lol - always been a sucker for Convo Pros but you do you mate - will look sick whatever you decide
The way you installed the headboard turned out well, It was a good idea, very helpful if it ever has to come off for whatever reason. I thought you might have used some sort of gasket, washer. Maybe something made from rubber to absorb any shock, vibration that might be present when driving. It's looking great, can't wait for the next video. Hopefully we won't have to wait as long as we did for this one. great video, thank you...
Sam this is looking great man, i like the wheels on it now, but as others mentioned, keep at it and worry about wheels later, you might confuse matters with size changes as you have built around what's there. Good channel and keep at it.
Yokohama makes racing rims now as well called advan and i haven't seen any on older vehicles , the rs-ds or tc-4 might look pretty good and would be different from whats usually seen. some tyre shops have a computer program that allows you to see what your car would look like with different types of rims
Hey mate loving it so far just some food for thought have a look at the vertini RF1.7 I think when you see them you will see why they could be a contender for the ute & suit the tray design you have as well, have a suss let me know what you think
American Racing VF542 ELIMINATOR wheels would look good and tie in the tray features a bit while being a bit old and new in style, plus shows the nice brakes far better.
Thanks Mate. I think I like the tube headboard as in my opinion it breaks up the square edging of the tray and it goes with the curves of the rear mudguards. I guess its just a preference.
Great job. Wheels are subjective. What about chroming the headboard and I like someone else's comment about rubbers under the contact points of the headboard to dampen vibration, etc. this is looking "Smick mate"
19" on the back, 17" on the front. Not billet, not simmons. Maybe some VL group A walkinshaw style wheels. I don't know, it's your car, do what you like, but I reckon that'd look mad.

Please keep filming, this build has been fantastic and for me the enjoyment is in the details and understanding why and how what you've decided to do.
Thanks Mate. Glad you liking the details.

Those inserts are on another level 😮
Cheers Mate. Something a bit different

Cheers Mate. Glad you enjoying the build

Definitely at the pointy end of the build now, great progress so far 👌
Thanks Mate

Thanks Mate. Yes I was thinking of putting some rubber between. Maybe some thin 2 or 3 mm rubber and cut it round same size as the tube

Thanks buddy... Yeah not in a huge rush for them.
Coming along nicely bet you can’t wait to drive it . 👍
So damn keeeeeen
Love the progress.
Keep filming it. Always love the updates when you put them up.

Agree some new wheels will set the build off let you decide it’s your car
The infill panels look mint 👌
Great job Sam 👍🏻

Please keep filming! Even if it's just snippets
Weld prostars look good on most cars
I have considered those. Sweet wheels
Great job, Can you advise the brand of steel drop saw and disc?
Bruv love ya channel love the build Just one question why the round tube for the head board ? Nothing negative just a question :)>>>
Thanks Mate. I think I like the tube headboard as in my opinion it breaks up the square edging of the tray and it goes with the curves of the rear mudguards. I guess its just a preference.
@@ShenkeGarage Fair Enough :)>>>
Just sent a pm to your FB profile as I can’t paste a link to the wheel I think would look great in 28’s on the tonner

Excellent work bud, looks great
Other than that...bloody excellent!
dont get sidetracked finish the build then the wheels.
red slippers. explains a lot.
Not sure what you mean by this?
Love the wheels mate. I might be interested in taking them off your hands for my Tonner. What are the specs are they?
Hey Mate they are 15x8 with 295 tyre on rear. Fronts are 15 but not sure exact width of rim but it has a 205 tyre on it.
@@ShenkeGarage nice mate. How much were you wanting for them? Happy to discuss offline somehow 👍
Hey bro dont stuff the ride with big rims 15 s will ride better then 18 s id hate to drive arround australia on 18s
Why didn't you follow profile of vehicle on headboard ?
It kinda does below the window but do you mean follow the cab so it goes up higher to the roof?
Height is good. But same angle as cab above the waist line.
Will you build another vehicle.
Film it all, if you have any parts you feel are boring, time lapse it with house music
🍺👍🏻👏

The walkies are a great wheel, I've got 20in walkies on my VZ ute and it looks bloody awesome, everyone comments on the wheels.
Don’t go to low in the tyre profile or you take away the era of the tonner
Raceline
wheels, fcuking computers.
Lol...Is that a wheel supplier Mate?
