Found a incredibly clean gen 1 13' private party sale in the greater salt lake City Utah area ( tried linking the post but my comment won't post if when I do). Guy is asking $44k but it's only got like 47k mi and choice upgrades so I wouldn't even change anything. KBB has it $38kish as the highest value. But I know clean low mi gen 1 are hard to come by. Thinking about $40k offer. Would that be a deal? It's also out of state for me I'm in California & the DMV is a pain in the ass here not not sure how hard it would be to register.If you search auto trader private party sales in salt lake area I'm sure you you'd find it. If you need to replace a blower motor in your truck, not that hard I have replaced a blower motor in my 2012 F150 the motor is right under the glove box 3 bolts, and one wiring harness very simple that probably why you having that noise

i was able to pick up a 12 Raptor for 11,750 with 190k, it does have some rust on 1 cab corner and need tires but I think I got a great deal

Factory tires were 8 ply 315/70r17 on the Gen 1, 6 ply on the Gen 2 moving forward. Nice video just bought a 2014 with 150k miles. You’re right. They need a lot of parts. I’ve done a rebuild on the shocks through Hammer with gieser springs on bottom perch, and 37” ko2 6 ply tires and method wheels. The factory touch screen is brutally outdated and needs to be upgraded also. Great content. Keep it up!

I just purchased this and got everything working..mostly. One thing I found maybe you can help with is with the factory unit when I put it in reverse I could hit the OK button middle of dash to change the camera angle to look more downward at the hitch. How do I do that with this unit? Doesn't show any buttons or settings for that? Thanks.

Should have got the 3.5 twin turbo eco boost I had a v8 coyote in my last truck and in 2014 I got the eco boost and 140 thousand miles I have had less problems I had more problems with my v8 no really big problems with my v6

I have a 2020 F250 Lariat ultimate star white w/ black appearance loaded out. It’s my dream truck and I’m grateful to have it but I should have gotten a raptor out of my system first. I tow a boat and a camper so would make no sense for me to get one but I’m tempted! Then I know I’ll prob go back to a superduty in a year or two lol

Can you listen to the radio on sync while using Android Auto maps? I have tried, but I have to have the screen active to use which ever is needed.

Your video tutorials are very well done. I've learned a lot about how to navigate through my radio. I did the installation from your video and will now change wallpaper also. I am changing the center speaker out also while I have it all opened. I mounted my GPS near the light sensor at the windshield so I would get a better signal also. I hope you don't mind but I will link your installation video on my review of the radio because you did such a good job. I have 2016 F150 Lariat 2.5 Ecoboost.

I have a 2009 XL base. I’ve checked out this one any many others but NONE show the stock dash I had. If I was to purchase this one do you think there would be any issue because of it being strictly Base model? No SYNC either. TIA!

Jim, one more question for you, regarding the steering wheel controls. I use the tablet for music, using youtube music. The steering wheel volume controls work for volume as expected whether i'm in sync on listening to music on the tablet. But when i'm using the 'next track' button on the steering wheel to change songs on the tablet, 98% of the time it changes the sync station and the tablet music stops and sync radio comes on. Many people have reported that these buttons work just fine for them, so i'm not sure whats going on. Any thoughts on this?

Hey guys just bought a gen2 2019 Raptor and has the live Value shocks on it love them and have now put on 4,100miles since September I got the truck and just now has 68,000mikes ok the truck and I am getting a constant vibration slash noise while crusing on the hwy and u can see the bed of the truck bouncing up and down on a smooth hwy that has recently been re paved over the summer.? I need some help please !! Could it possibly be something with the electronics in the live valve tuning and it also doesn’t matter if I’m in normal sport mode it still acts up it a mild but consistent condition bouncing almost like jiggling short, fast strokes, cruising like at 70 or 80 miles an hour never had a truck that did that even with bad shocks no lights are on the dash either
