I’ve had my android 13 unit for about two weeks now and I’ve got it pretty dialled in. Really minimalist Home Screen using just the modern style. No Nova Launcher even. My base factory sound system with amp sounds great if I use preset 002 in the DSP and leave the original host volume to the default 30. I do have to enable the original with amp and factory amp settings. Boot up time is quick, about a 1-2 second delay for the backup camera to come on, and wireless CarPlay sometimes has to try 3-4 times if I step out of range and come back. The only thing not working is the steering wheel voice and phone buttons. They go to sync but i disconnected completely from sync because it use to change the radio station instead of skipping to the next track if I was connected to the sync Bluetooth.
Two things i don’t like is google maps does not like to do split screen with any app And the audio some time won’t work until i open up the original sync for one second then go back to the android system. I use my factory sync system for nothing at this point. And i also don’t connect my phone at all because it’s no use when the tablet can do everything

Do you know how to disable the blue robot that gets in the way and randomly will ask if I need help with anything? I press down on it for a few seconds to make it disappear but I want it gone every time I start the truck. Also, didn’t see the code for the T Mobile hot spot
Love your videos. Very intuitive. I have an "old" tesla screen style on my Ford Mondeo with Sync2. The only problems i had so far are related to Bluetooth. I'm thinking about upgrading to a new screen like this. But will I still have problems with Bluetooth? I mean, do you have Bluetooth turned on only on Android or on both systems? If you can clarify, I'd appreciate it. Please keep making videos like this.
Tough call. I’d guess you’d still have sync 2 Bluetooth issues if you currently are now. I’m always just connected to Android side of things Bluetooth. If it were me id check and see if there’s any updates for sync 2 and if you purchase the new screen just run Bluetooth strictly through the Android side.

But my question here is, have you tried connecting both sides? In other words, I've noticed that you only use the Android Bluetooth. But that's why I asked if you've thought about using both and if you had any problems connecting both at the same time. I know that if you use only Sync or only Android there's no problem. One last question if you could. On my PX6, in SYNC system, if i am to close to an obstacle in the front, or another veicule, the radar appears with all the lines and colours, but when i am on android the radar only appears when i put on reverse. i have the wharnings (bips) but no radar image. Does yours works like that or do you have the radar image always, even when going forward near ao obstacle? Thank you again my frien. Sorry to bother you with all these doubts.... 🤔🤐

Does Netflix work with this version of Android? My current android headunit won't allow Netflix to run. Nor any other apps like Disney+.
