Lived here most of my life. Yeah - we get some big snowstorms. But we also have enough equipment to remove it in a hurry. It is also the "city of good neighbors" and it is far from unusual for one of your neighbors with a plow or large snowblower to help you out and expect nothing more than a thank-you. After even the worst storms, the region is back in full operation quickly, usually in less than a week. I live in the "snowburbs" south of the city, a few miles from the stadium, and that's true even here. Like you, I believe this area is poised for explosive growth in the not-too-distant future and lot of money will be made by property owners who "got in on the action" early. Unlike you I believe building a domeless stadium was the right choice. Buffalo will never be chosen to host a Superbowl so why spend the money? The game has been played in mostly places where the weather tends to good in February from its beginning, and that makes the most sense. Fannies in the seats are what turns a game into a spectacle. Try getting them there during a blizzard

You’re going to regret making this video 😂 I guarantee it. Never advertise where the treasure is. First off New Yorkers are already moving north of NYC for cheaper living. 2nd everyone is already looking for cheaper places to move to all over the U.S. trust me Buffalo will become a target like charlotte & Atlanta did. Then boom traffic traffic traffic and every Buffalonian will look for someone to blame 🤣🤣🤣. Be very cautious 🤫

I live in Amherst, 2 blocks from the city. I'll let the viewers understand how the snow is here. My kids, 6,5 and 1 have winter break in February. We're going to lake placid in the Adirondack for a few days because we never have snow on the ground and I want to take them sledding. They've gone sledding once in their lives. I hope this clears up the snow in Buffalo misconception.

If you come with the same attitude you had in New York City, you will not see any mental health benefits of living in Buffalo. I came here from Michigan 16 years ago by way of New York City it was so strange for me because we were living in New York when the traffic light changed nobody was blowing the horn at you if you didn’t take your foot off the break and put it on the gas in 1 millionths of a second. So please think about your mental health also

I agree with some of your snow perceptions but as someone who lived in Buffalo and the sounding suburbs for 43 years I will say there were some serious snow storms one of which was Friday October 13, 2006 where most of Erie county lost power due to a snowstorm. I had a house in Amherst near Sweethome Road and had no power for nine days. That was a nightmare. Further back between 2000 and 2003 there was a 6 foot snow storm that hit a majority of the area including Clarence where I lived just near Clarence Hollow off of Main Street and the snow was unbelievable. The shoveling and the cold became too much even after living south of Rochester for 2 years, still dealt with serious snow and cold. Buffalo is nice in all the other seasons except winter. I’ve been there in both late April/ early May and another in Early June which was a nicer time to visit. Late September and Early are also nice times to visit with the fall foliage to admire. Buffalo is my hometown but so much has changed it’s sad to return in some aspects. Even my High School isn’t the same. I hope it can expand and be attractive for people in all career areas but one thing that is very sad is how the closing of many manufacturing companies affected the local economy.
