Book a hotel for 3-4 days when you arrive, do some foot work, and find a better deal when you are there. You will save a lot of money.

What are the rates now? Is a 7/11 nearby? The old restaurant can be used as a co-working space.

Hi Sean, Me and my buddy will arrive in jomtien 5 december, and looking for something like this. we will stay 3-4 month. Is it still possible to get something like this for 300$/month in 2024? Its our first time in Thailand. should we rent togheter or each have our own condo? (we are 2 friends) Im afraid we will be a bit lost, as we have not travel much haha.

Both main beaches are atrocious. I know more about Pattaya so will comment on that. Main Pattaya beach, is polluted. No one swims for a reason. You can barely see the sea with the amount of private boats anchored by the bay. Jomtien which is also some km away is very average but cleaner and I would rather live there than near the bay. Pattaya has better beaches far from the crowd but that's the issue. I was flying to Chiang Mai from Pattaya and you could see the water by the airport was crystal clear. Pretty sure both places have beautiful beaches somewhere but definitely not the ones showcased here.

this is doable. love the closeness to the beach and the swimming pools nice, just find the condo apartment a bit small. you didnt mention if it has any utensils, pots and pans which i think should be given, given that these are meant to be condos.
