How to Wingfoil! The heel side tack! Get the tips and tricks you need to get around.
What is up every one! We are back with another video and another turn!
This time we will be looking at the heel side tack. I recommend trying this turn after you already have your jibes and your toe side tacks down! This is because it can be a little tricky to master but especially because it requires speed, commitment and a decent foil control! So the more you have been riding before you try it the better!
Watch the video to get a more in depth understanding and find those tips and tricks you might be missing! Of course if you enjoy it please like and feel free to share with anyone that might need it.

This is a BIG help for my current progression. I'm 70kg and just purchased a 72 board (Omen) and I'm nervous about the Stinkbug waterstart. I have only been winging 3 months but with my 30 years windsurfing then kitefoiling I'm finding things fairly easy on the current 99L board.... I want to go smaller. Thank You

@@zbindenren Well.... I'm selling my new 72L Omen Flux after 8 exhausting sessions with troubling waterstart crashing. Is it too soon to give up? Probably but I don't live on a beach where I can perfect this tippy sinking waterstart day after day. If the wind is at all choppy I'm having 6-7 failed attempts for every crash. This means exhaustion and short sessions. I'm picking up an Armstrong 80L FG this morning

👍 The Helitack description was precise and in sequence with the actions shown, and as I'd run my own Windsurfing school during the mid 1980s I knew that although a gybe is most common to perform the actions used in a Heli-tack is of benefit to know also. Particularly standing upon Slalom boards, but especially when using Wave-boards.

Thanks for the video! I bought the 1050 at 65kg and I love It! Even in high winds It is very stable and easy to control. For me a more relaxed ride than the spitfire. Looking for a second HPS for higher winds. Would you recommend the 980 or 930? As the high end of the 1050 is really good and the difference in cm2 projected area between the 1050 and 980 is already 177cm2. Thanks for your reply!

Great tutorial! However, in the video of you in closing it seems like your pumping technique is different than your described; i.e., you aren't holding your front arm more stationary and just moving the back arm. Did I misunderstand, or is that just a more advance technique?

Hi Kyriakos Not linked to this vid, I am searching tips or tutos to optimize paddling on a Wingfoil board and with a large wing on your feet. I am specially interested on the best way to install the wing with my legs and feet, and to guarantee a good catch when paddling front a strong wind, which can fly out the wing at any time. It could be also difficult with some side waves or turning winds. I am sure that there are plenty of useful tricks which may help beginners to move out or move back to beach before being fully skilled on the Wingfoil 🤗

I mostly ride with HPS 1050 & 930. I am using 400p for rear. I have the following questions: 1. Do you think I can still 325p for HPS 1050? Maybe too smal in light wind days? 2. Would using 325p with HPS 930 will help the performance (mainly for speed) a lot or it will not make too much difference?

sizing down your stab will make a big difference. I went from a 980 and 400p to 980 and 300p and it's sweet for carving turns on bumps. little harder to start but not an issue
