That's awesome you found these, however, when I sell kits, nothing bothers me more than someone scanning all your stuff your trying to sell. I know ppl are in it to make money, but I don't sell to flippers. I sell to builders and collectors. Flippers are killing this hobby

The reason I charge shipping is to help the seller as they don’t have to pay sales tax on that, and I charge $1.29 for the 2 oz standard shipping at $0.97 (I ship in semi rigid photo paperboard so it’s sturdier, so heavier). If they want to complain about it then they can pay more with tax 😂

I am new to your channel and love your vids so far, but totally agree with mj1060. 25% of my eBay standard envelope do NOT show delivered. I know how it works but oh how I wished it would show the “delivered” scan for all.

Do you set up at shows? If so do you have different inventory for shows than the eBay store? If not how do you keep your sold listings online and at the show square? If that makes sense? So you dont sell a card at a show that sold online?

Burbank also cuts off the edges of most cards in their photo for a reason. You get what you pay for.

What a lot of people don't know is adding cardboard on each side of a card in top loader will prevent USPS from scanning and properly having it delivered. This is specific to the Standard Envelope shipping. That $20 Jordan card you felt like protecting a little more will more than likely end up being a full refund because you have no way to prove the card was delivered. So, instead of adding cardboard to those "better" cards it's more secure to just use a better service .. or just normal without cardboard. This is from experience because I too wanted to protect cards better but it just showed to not be in the seller's interest.

I'm about to start my ebay store, on a great stading account, so I have a high quantity of items limit. Currently I can only list 250 items a month so purchasing a store make sense. My question is should I list each and every card? Or should I select rookies, hall of famers, ect., and listing the commons in bulk? Any suggestions from someone who's already doing it would be much appreciated.

The 7030 was junk for me. Couldn't get the scan lines to go away. I have also seen a video of those scanners putting marks on your cards even if you use a penny sleeve. Even a single line on a scan causes buyers to pass or ask you for other photos, which is a pita. I would rather use my phone and be done with it.

So heres my main question. Its probably a dumb one. When I am shipping out a card via ebay standard envelope can I just put it in my outgoing mail box? As long as it fits in the slit right? I was worried because I live 30ish minutes away from the post office but if I can just send it out right from my house that changes the game for me.

Love the videos. They have helped tremendously. So when you hit a big card and its fairly new, do you do auction or just buy it now. I hit a optic rated rookies victor and raw are going for around $300. I sent mine into psa express. So when it comes back im not sure what to do. I thought to auction with a reserve.

To get the top rated seller discount you have to offer free returns. I don't think the math pencils out for $1 cards.

I don't think it's necessarily crashing the low-end market. eBay is a weird place where the lowest price doesn't always win. I've seen several situations where the most successful sellers for a particular set are not free shippers. Even if the 99c free shippers do win, they are likely opening hobby cases which means the pack hits may not cover the losses from the commons.

On Android you can set your phone to backup images to your Google photos. Then they're already ready to go on your computer, just do what you need and go! Same should apply to your iCloud account if you're iPhone.

I said this on another video but your scans on your cards are blurry. For regular cards not Chrome or Reflective ones. You have no value prop in your listings even though you have good feedback and have been a longer time seller. You are shooting yourself in the foot. Appreciate the videos very helpful!!!

Going to be honest with you. Your listings suck, many of the scans are blurry as hell you have absolutely no description unique to the item even if it is copy and pasted. Would expect a value proposition in there and why they should choose you, how you ship etc. It's cool having bad pictures but at least put a disclaimer in your listing, saying these are scanned, etc we have to do this efficiently, please reach out for additional pictures. Blah blah blah.

Did you say that by using eBay promotions you pay eBay by day. So basically every day that listing is up? What if you never sell the card and you end the listing?

You are talking about cards that cost a couple bucks. Most of which are 30+ years old. Never going to be worth anything significant. If the card get damaged just file the claim. That’s why eBay created the ESE. I use to sell cards in the late 2000s we would use top loaders and a butterfly stamp. Now that I am getting back into this I just use card savers because they have to machinable for ESE and that tracking to work. I think blue tape is the best option, team bags are a waste of money would still end up using blue tape to tape the team bag to the invoice.

I don't even use tape on the top loader. The cards are not coming out of a semi-rigid top loader, and I wrap the cards into one sheet of printer paper. Never had a problem in over 30k orders. Everyone has their own system. I like seeing how other people do things. Thanks.

What I do is I create a bunch of listings on my PC and then take all the pics of those card listings with my phone and upload the pics from my phone while watching TV. Thanks for the content always enjoy it.

Make subfolders on your phone, move the images, there, and pull on that sub folder, "sell one like this" helps a ton and CDP is a game changer for speed.

As a buyer on ebay (never a seller) I receive 100's of card envelopes per year. My biggest peeve is a seller that uses cellophane tape in processing a card. totally unnecessary and can damage card trying to open. Have you ever received the wrong card because seller mixed up his cards and labels and sent everyone in that mailing the wrong card? Nightmare! I cringe at watching you divide your attention between a video and processing your cards for delivery. Sellers not shipping cards at all is on the rise if they don't like the auction price they got. If you are a team collector Burbank 99 cent commons with free shipping is the way to go.

I don’t see dirt cheap prices. I see a card I like, research what it is selling for, then realized it’s 20-40% over what it’s actually selling for. I’ve reached out to sellers and shown them what the market says the price should be and have been harassed by a “get off my lawn” seller. Now I just move on.

Thanks for the content that you drop! Very informative and pertinent videos to the eBay selling life. I have been worrying about views because I didn't understand why I wasn't getting raw card sales, or at least offers for big raw card names like C.J. Stroud and Victor Wembanyama. I'd put up good looking cards, at competitive prices, but would get no offer or smaller offers after similar cards had sold at premium prices. It has gotten to the point that I'd rather stash and grade a card that is criminally undervalued.

I dont get caught up on my ebay views too much. I know I sell a lot of cards that are a bit niche. Like an autograph of an average player who retired 10 years ago. Someone will eventually buy it but just not this week and im ok with that. I guess if I had a HOT card that should be getting views and has 0, then its a different story

There is a very popular seller who does this consistently when he breaks new product. He lists them ridiculously low to the point there is no point in ripping product. But he can do no wrong!
