Pricing your sports cards on ebay can be tough, what is too low? - th-cam.com/video/bjCE7PL_0OM/w-d-xo.html

Personally, I hate to scroll trough a store to try to find cards from the same set if I’m looking to buy more than one card. I do variation listings so set builders can just use the drop-down box to scroll to the card numbers they need and add them to their cart. I rarely have a one card order, but I do list every player name, the card number and condition, along with a scan of the front and back of each card. It is a time suck, but you only have to do it once.

I do the same thing with variation listings but do not scan the base cards due to the tine involved, unless it is from a higher end product.

I personally use the variation but only on low end sets. I basically find a good card from the set or a photo of the wax box and use that as the photo. Then I go to a few different websites and copy and paste the name. Just have 2 tabs open. I do prefer to list every card individually including dupes but there will come a point where it won't be worth it once you use up all your free listings. Just note that variation is now 250 but, that does not get around listing limits because there is a value you can't pass also. As long as you don't pass value limits you are good, but the number one thing I absolutely hate is that if you sell any cards from your variation listing and you end and relist the listing it repopulates back to the original quantity. But again I only use it for low dollar sets like junk wax.

For me, I only do eBay. I don't really care to keep track of other platforms. I have a decent system to keep track of eBay and don't really want to keep track of more.

I have a ton of Variation listings. You have to be careful.. You can't relist it.. If you do it goes back to everything being in stock. I learned that the hard way. My Ebay store only show 4600 items but with my variation listings I have over 19,000 listings. I need to make them all just listings because I agree people hate them and don't understand them much. Also if you sell it on the feedback it just shows the listing doesn't say what card sold. Tons of weird stuff using those kinds of listings.

Variation limit is 250 per listing. Helps get rid of commons for set builders. Always have these on promotions since each card can’t be listed less than $.99. Run buy 5 get 75% off which is reasonable for commons.

Whenever I don't have fun with cards, either selling or collecting, I take a break for a couple of weeks. It helps a lot! Cards don't have to be your life lol.

Um...if you're selling a Benoit Benjamin for $1.75 (at mark 2:20), then I'd say you're doing pretty well.

1st rich is relative so I feel like people get lost in the weeds! Like you say your not rich from selling but helps buy the cards you want. Think there are people who want to get to that point so they might look at you as man you are making great money if that makes sense😅?
