Unfortunately no, this won’t work in messenger as a sticker. But you can use it as a photo and just add it from your camera roll.

It really depends on how intricate your design is. I've found that larger elements tend to line up a bit better than ones with a lot of tiny details. Also, Canva tends to shrink the pattern ever so slightly when it's inserted into a frame. That could be what's causing issues as well. You just have to play with it a bit. For something super detailed, it's possible that this "grid" method does not work, so in that case you would need to manually place your elements that you want to make seamless halfway on and halfway off the page. Takes a little more time to do it that way so they line up, but it can be done. Hope that helps.🙂

Using the grid method ensures that when you piece the pattern together for larger projects, all of the images will line up correctly without having any unwanted dead space. You don't have to use the grid if you're happy with the way your initial pattern looks as far as spacing.

If you’re talking about an address, enter your address in google maps in your web browser. Then copy that url and use it for the QR code. To test it, scan the QR code with your phone to see if it opens the map and shows the correct location.

No, you can Star items in both the free and pro version. Items that can be starred are graphics, photos, frames, and templates. Items that can’t be starred are videos, animations, music, and fonts.

The option to share to phone should still be there, even with the new update. It's possible that your icons are in a different order than mine so just click the search box and look for it. As for the sticker, try maybe grouping your elements before downloading them. And don't forget to save as transparent PNG.🙂

I hadn't realized my iPad would be a mobile device as well. I tried grouping and saving as transparent and still cannot save both items as 1 sticker though. Could it be because I'm trying to use it on a text and not Instagram? I will keep trying with other graphics to see if it works. I really appreciate your help. THANK YOU! I appreciate you.

@@raquelnavarro4241 stickers don’t work quite the same way on a text as they do for social media posts, so yes that’s possible. Something else you can try, with your design open in Canva, click on Apps in the sidebar and search for Design to Image. This will allow you to save your design as a png right within Canva without having to download. Once that’s done (it will show up in your uploads folder), add that new image to a page. Then download it and see if that works for your texts. Make sure when you use the Design to Image app that you choose transparent background.

Per Canva's terms of service, you cannot use the templates as is, you have to change them enough that they do not closely resemble the original. In the case of the seamless patterns within Canva, since those are already fully created, you can only use them for personal things. Since this video was release 7 months ago, Figma had some updates to their platform. Now if you want to add the fill, you'll click on the fill with image option like before, but the next step is you need to upload an image and then it will work correctly when you bring it over to Canva. I plan to rerecord this video reflecting the change.

@@lanamcquown3063 make sure when you download from Figma you are choosing PDF. Figma has a tendency to default to png so you need to change it when you download. Then it will import right in Canva.

Canva has updated Magic Grab since this video was released 7 months ago. It works a bit differently now with the new Canva interface. I have noticed since the recent update in May 2024, that Magic Grab doesn't always remove the image from the background anymore, it only creates a duplicate pop out. I think this is a glitch with the new update. I've already submitted a bug report to Canva to see if there's a fix.

Super intricate patterns like camo don’t work as well with this particular method. This is better suited to patterns that have white space or breathing room between the elements.

You can zoom out in Figma by clicking on the top right corner (where it says 100%). Then change the view percentage to what you want.

Magic Grab has changed slightly over the last few days with the new update to the Canva website. I have noticed there have been some hiccups with the new update where the screen will freeze from time to time. I recommend trying again or even trying to use a different browser.
