OMG You used the same cat font for your logo that I did! I didn't use the C, but isn't that the prettiest C you ever did see? :) I love Bettie font, I even bought the license. 💛
@@thecreativekatstudio I would love to show it to you but I can't figure out how to either upload an image or send you a link without the link getting deleted. LOL Is there DM in youtube?
@@thecreativekatstudio if I can follow up on this question - with a logo downloaded with a transparent background, would I loose the embossed effect? Thanks! New follower after this video! Great resource, clear & easy to understand!
@@JustineDesignsHeredo you mean once the emboss is finished and then you try to download that as a transparent PNG? In that case the emboss effect won't really work because you'll lose some of the highlights that make the effect possible. That's why it's best to leave it on a background that is similar in color. Hope that helps.🙂
There is a template called Pink Minimal and Elegant Daily Planner by Amit Debnath , this template has different colored "shadows'' behind the boxes in the template--I can't figure out how to do this. Can you help thanks
The easiest way to recreate that look, is to add a rectangle and duplicate it. Set the top rectangle to have a white fill, and a border color. Set the bottom rectangle to have a color fill and no border. Adjust the position so they are slightly offset. Then group both rectangles together.

@@threecatsdancing yeah TH-cam doesn’t have a DM feature. But you can message me on Instagram or Facebook. Links are in my bio section.🙂
Great tip! I do have a question. Does the background have to be the same colour as the ''embossed'' text or image for it to appear embossed? TIA
It doesn’t have to be exactly the same. It can be a shade or two different. But for a true embossed effect it does look best as the same color.

Is debossing possible in Canva?
Yes it is! I'll put together another video showing how to do it.
Can you use this on garments sweaters
I'm not sure how well this would print on sweaters. Cotton or cotton blend fabrics are usually best for fabric printing.
