Yay. Thank you so much Kat. I was just looking through Canva apps last night, showing my daughter, and I saw this. Canva is really amazing!!! So are you. I appreciate this so much, just what I needed. You’re the best. 😊
    A few questions:
    1. Does it use a point system, like they do with some of the other apps?
    2. Is this an upscaler, like you can use outside of Canva? Meaning, can you stretch it quite large, for like print on demand stuff? Or would I still export it as a PNG and use a different upscaler?
    3. Can you use this with graphic elements also?
    4. You exported it as a JPG, could I use a “JPG to PNG” program, outside of Canva, and keep the quality of it?
Sorry for all of the questions. This is awesome, but I am still learning some of this stuff. I am pretty good, now, with Canva, but I love that you show us these new apps and are so helpful. I really can’t thank you enough, I do appreciate all that you do. Thank you!!! 😊😊

      To answer your questions:
      1. No there is no point system with this so you can use it freely.
      2. This Enhancer app is only in Canva, but there are plenty of other apps and website that can upscale outside of Canva.
      3. If your graphic is in JPG or PNG format then yes, you can use it.
      4. No need to use a converter. You can export as either JPG or PNG, which ever you prefer. The quality will be about the same, only the size of the file will be different. For instance, on the photo I downloaded in the video the JPG version was 2.6MB in size, while the PNG version is 5.1MB in size.

Another great tool that I wasn’t aware of! Thanks! 😊 Question… what do you use to upload your original photos to your computer? Do you simply use a scanner? Any special settings?

For the older photos, yes I scanned them in. Generally scanners will set a default resolution of 300 DPI when it scans photos, I adjust this and make it 600 DPI. It gives a cleaner scan. You can set it higher, but keep in mind that will also increase the files size by a lot and Canva does have an upload limit for photos.

What if I only have jpg photos? When mom passed, I received her iPad and iPhone. She had a lot of photos from grams, that she just screen shot 😢 will this still work? ❤❤❤ or any tips for me. Of course I will try ASAP but JIK…thank you

I'm so sorry that I missed your comment!🤦🏻‍♀️ Yes, this works with JPG images.
