Long time Adobe user here as well. I started out way back in the day with on Photoshop version 1! And you're right, Canva can to so many cool things now. It's come a long way for sure. Granted there are a lot of things where Adobe will still be better, but Canva is quickly closing that gap by making it easier to do some of those tasks.🙂 Thanks so much for watching!❤

Hi Kat, thanks for sharing all this information, so helpful! I am having a problem with the color isolation on the video. I've followed the steps as you outlined but when I play the video only the top video with the background removed plays while the greyscale video does not play. How do you merge the 2 videos, so they play as one?

I did have an issue with this on couple videos not too long ago. I think it might just been a Canva hiccup. There are couple things you can try though... 1) Make sure that before you duplicate the video, that it's at the very beginning of it. You might have to drag the play head back to get it there. And 2) After you've removed the background and lined both videos one on top of the other, download it and see if it plays correctly. I noticed that sometimes playing it in Canva doesn't always play the right way.
