That diesel weighs more . I’d take even though I have a gasser
Yeah, they both drive so well in the snow. I enjoy driving them both all the time. I almost have to flip a quarter. I love them both...
How come a day later, two charge bars are missing…?
There is a good chance that the internal battery is starting to go bad. If it's not retaining the charge, that may be the issue. I would try to contact their support team at Stanley to get some help. It may still have a warranty on it.
I really thought my timing tensioner was bad because I was hearing clattering and rattling from the timing cover, my dad who’s a mechanic took it to work and told me it’s just the ac compressor. I might know how to replace the parts but I think I have some learning to do on diagnosing them lol.
@Neoprenesiren Hey man, that's ok. we are all continually learning and growing. Usually, a stethoscope or long handled screw driver works great to help confirm the issue, lol.
Perfect song😂
@forgiven4824 After looking at it, yes, unfortunately 💯, lol 🤣
Looks like he lives in the rust belt.
Lol, I'm in Colorado, but I had it in Tennessee for 4ish years, and that was recently. I think that had a large effect on it cause of all the rain.
At least the Chevrolet lasts long enough to rust
@reltub20001 Your 100% right! It sucks having the rust, but I will be eliminating it and reconditioning the whole truck a little bit at a time!

Thank you... you will think they should make provision for a plug-in
Yeah, this was certainly an awkward type of plug they put on here. Knowing it needs to be plugged in, why need an additional extension cord just to charge. 🤦♂️
Not very effective. There is still snow all over it. I'll stick with long handle brush.
@x-man5056 Not this time, but it works well with nice dry snow. I have made several videos on this, and it has worked well clearing the sidewalk and cars.
@@HowToDIYMoore yes, nice new, dry snow.
Been doing this for ten years
@davehackett8253 Same here. It's so much easier, especially if you get ahead of the snow!
I like the stepside beds, Makes it kinda nostalgic
@@kevbev1524 Thank bro, I agree! They don't make stuff like they used to!
Where I live people drive what they have in just as much snow. Neighbor has a honda fit 😅
We ended up with 3-4 feet of snow when all was said and done with this storm. I'm in Colorado and I drive the little car as well everywhere as the roads are plowed well. 😆😉
@HowToDIYMoore 3-4ft has us beat. Dang.
@@bloopbleepnothinghere Lol, we never know so I always get the trucks ready and if it isn't bad I get out the little Hyundai to save gas. most the time I will just drive one of the trucks in the snow just because of the 4x4 anyway.
Your video helped. I have a Toro #51831 trimmer that comes apart the exact same way. I choose to go with the Hipa 400 speed feed head from Amazon about $25 w/freight. Had to rethread with the tap-n-die set but all feel into place. The Hipa head is a Echo Speedfeed 400 clone head. Again your video gave me the idea to use the speed feed head, that way you don't have to take the head apart to re-string.
Awesome, I'm glad the video gave you a solid structure of how to fix your unit. Good job applying a new twist and technique to the plot to correct yours. Thanks for commenting to let me know it helped you out. I'm sure someone reading this will be helped through your comment!
When it says do it while its running, it means, before the diesel gums up and feezes and thus does not allow it to mix properly. Even if you managed to somehow start your diesel truck after all the diesel in your tank is gelled, then dumping this in will still do nothing all the same. Fun fact: if the temperature is low enough to effect the diesel in your tank. Then you need this even if you have a block heater. That isn't intended to boost octane. Just a thought Plus a block heater does nothing for the temperature of the fuel in the tank or filter. It should just heat the tight tolerances and lower oil viscosity.
@robertm6510 Yes, that's good. I didn't outline it in that wording, but it's a good way of putting it!
You have a diesel, you have a block heater. Lots of gas trucks do too.
@JeffRobertson-m7v Yes, that's what block heaters are for, but some hunters and / or certain circumstances cause you not to be able to plug in. That's where this is good to know!
One of the dumbest useless posts ive seen.
@terrymcv7064 I really don't care... Didn't your mom ever tell you? "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it." Just keep scrolling bro the internet is a large place, and I can assure you there is a lot more "useless" content out there.
@HowToDIYMoore lol..get a real job

@terrymcv7064 Yeah, you better go show her. 🤣
how are you gonna get your brakes to work
Not all of them have trailer brakes with the 7-way. In this case I just purchased a new trailer but didn't have the hitch for my 3500HD yet so I just needed to get it home. This helped me get it home and then my hitch came in for the other truck so now I'm all good...
Why would anyone live in this? Its almost Christmas and im outside in shorts getting a tan today🤣
Lol, so my actual first snow was in September... I've moved all over and preferably enjoy the winter months to play in it. Have you ever been snowboarding or skiing?
When Chevy ford and dodge where making good trucks
I know tell me about it. Everything is GARBAGE nowadays. "Disposable" is a good short explanation!
That’s the dumbest thing to post. You want to post a cold start be at least 25 years old and below 0. Shot my 2000 F250 starts up every time . I got a 5625 Gehl that has sat for two years put a battery in it hit the glow plug s for a min and it fires up .
@waynevictory5208 Your opinion... I have posted many cold starts on different vehicles at different temps! 🤙
I have a 94 Toyota pickup I turn on head lights and push the brake paddle no brake lights turn the head lights off and push the brake paddle and brake lights work check all fuses all are good replaced brake light switch under the pedal steal the same what do u all think it could be before hand never any problems problems
I will be doing this on my 94 k2500 but it’s not the belt it’s the tensioner pulley, bad squealing and screeching. Going to remove belt tomorrow and check the bearings on each pulley to make sure and go from there 🤙 probably will replace the belt too. Thanks for the video!
@timmytomtimithjr8522 Yes, you are very welcome! Good luck it shouldn't be a hard repair. Everything is very accesable. Some people like to pull off the fan shroud for even easier access. Let me know how everything goes when you're completed, Have fun 🤣
@ took off the belt and found out it’s the tensioner pulley! 😆 ordered the part from autzone , will be here tomorrow. Thanks bud! I sure do have fun working on it 😂
@@timmytomtimithjr8522 Ooooo nice.... That should be an easy one! Now you will be a pro at removing and replacing the belt too 🤣. It always is rewarding fixing something and making it better!
@@HowToDIYMoore honestly I’ve changed belts on many different vehicles and they are all easy imo 👌 it’s actually quite satisfying replacing them
@@timmytomtimithjr8522 I agree with you!
My entire ac bracket broke can I run a setup up with the entire bracket delete if so where can i reroute my tensioner
Well, it's hard to picture how bad the damage is. But if it were me, I would run a shorter belt in your case, but if the tensioner is affected, then you may have to get an ac bracket from the junk yard or somewhere available. Can you keep the damaged bracket on, but run a shorter belt without affecting anything?
@HowToDIYMoore i can't use the bracket at all because the piece broke off where the bolt goes through my tensioner is good i removed my tensioner from the bracket because the bracket is no good, I was asking if there's another place i can't place the tensioner or does it has to go on the Ac bracket in order to work?
@road2richz_q266 I figured, but I have only ever seen it on the bracket. If it were me, I would get a new bracket or a used one, then go from there. Good luck getting it all fixed up! Let myself and the other viewers know what happens. Thank you!

(2018 Tundra) Battery reset worked for me! Thank you for making this video!!!!
@spencerwilken9974 Awesome 👌! Now, I recommend getting the battery tested to make sure the CCA and cranking amps are where they need to be. These vehicles nowadays have a HUGE demand for energy, and if slightly off or going low, it can cause this again or even more weird lights to come on. Thanks for commenting to let myself and the other viewers know it worked!!!!
Just an FYI, the pliers you use are called “snap ring” pliers and what you called a “C” ? Is a snap ring
@dickmacpherson6286 Lol, I know if you read the other 1000 comments 🤣 regarding this, I've stated that while filming, I said something else. That's it, and I had to buy them to engineer this fix....
This video was super helpful for me. Thank you!
Awesome I'm glad it helped you out! Thanks for watching and letting me know!
Hi...in the middle of driving i had the 'pre crash safety' warning , along with 'lane departure alert malfunction' , and then 'braking power low' amd check engine...one after another, and car wont start anymore... any suggestion?
Also i change the battery 2 weeks ago but all was fine until now....
Hello, If it me this is what I would do.... 1. Check the battery (even if new most the new cars require powerful high demand AGM batteries). 2. Check the alternator 3. Scan the trouble codes to lead you to the issue. 4. check for loose connection at the forward facing radar. These Toyotas have had issues with shorts and/or loose connections at the radar. 5. It may be a bad speed senor. Also a known issue on the Toyotas to lead you right back to all these immediate issues. Start here ☝ Please let myself and the viewers know your findings. It may help someone else with the issue later. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@avigadesh807 Make sure you verify the proper fitment and battery CCA and CA for your vehicle. If it is slightly below the requirement it can cause these issues.
Great golf courses on the bottom, and Evel Kenevel jumped his rocket bike on the other side.
Wow that's cool I didn't know either of those. That's pretty cool he jumped that. I'm going to look that up. I just passed through and stopped by the Chick-Fil-A on the other side. It was an awesome view! Thanks for the comment and info!

I just built one the roof was a mess had to force ot to fit as the holes and the metal pannels are not strait
This is most likely because it wasn't square from the beginning. If the first part isn't square, it cause many more pieces to not be straight. I experienced this issue until I resolved it.
Does it learn new TPMS?
