I am a professional tech using these on heavy duty marine cat engines daily. I've come to really love their deep and shallow sockets. I really tried to love their wobble sockets, but the literal first day I was using my wobble socket set the 1/2" broke one of the pins on the side connecting the u-joint together. I was pretty surprised considering it was only a valve cover on a 3512 I was removing. Also in a head to head comparison with snap on wobbles the snap on will blow them out of the water not only in durability but also the quickness of removing bolts. I ended up having to get a full snap wobble set and no regrets there. So in conclusion tekton does make absolutely great tools and I would highly recommend. Just maybe not all their tools but that goes for most tool companies. I think it is good to have a healthy variety of tool brands, whatever does the job properly and quickly. It isn't just about brand names.
NOTE: I sent a picture to tekton the same day I had broke that 1/2" wobble and had a brand new within 2-3days. They sent it out literally 15min after I contacted them. Which is one of the main reasons I will stick with them since their customer service is phenomenal.

Wow, this is great information! I'm not surprised it always seems like even the best of the best have flaws that need worked out (in any industry). Its always nice to get feedback from other people because in the long run it can sure save a lot of people money and frustration. This is why most of us have a backup wrench or socket because in your case even them taking care of it in 15 min and you receiving it in 2-3 days is awesome, but you still had to take care of the customers equipment. I appreciate your time and thank you so much for commenting today! 💪
Ps: Its good to know they stand behind their warranty!

I think many manufacturers skip socket and wrench sizes in some kits so you have to buy another set. Marketing scheme. They say you don’t need this or that size, well I have plenty that needs the missing sizes.
Obviously all metric sets should come with three of each 10mm and three of each 1/2” sizes.

Late to the party here but I equipped my apprentice technicians with Tekton sockets (impact & chrome ) 1/4-3/8-1/2 drive as well as ratchets/extensions ,hammers ,pry bars ,plier sets . Have not tried their wrenches and instead went with snap on and gear wrench .
So far they have held up well and when one of them breaks a tool tekton is extremely good at getting a replacement tool to us in a few days . For starting techs I believe they are the most affordable, reliable, cost effective tools on the market. I was originally skeptical and have been very pleased so far . No I have no plans to replace my massive snap on collection 9f tools , but will continue to purchase them for our apprentice technicians / shop helpers , and recommend to anyone at or below a C level technician.

10:10.. That's because people who work with their tools don't want to fight with them if you want to carry him around and show him off that's fine but if you work with your tools, this is the way to go
.. People like to pop the pins out and leave the split case sitting in a cart and they're easy to get out you don't have to fight with them when you're working that's why they do that to half the case of tools
.I always keep the cardboard or foam liner in all of my cases but I transport them...
the cardboard is especially nice because you can spray that with WD40 and keep your tools from rusting if you use them in the field... If they're just sitting in your house or temperature-controlled garage you don't have to worry about it as much but if you use your tools for work I would spray that cardboard with WD40

Brooooo! I did the same thing.
After watching all these videos and reviews on Tekton, I’ve decided to upgrade my craftsman/HF tools box. I bought all of the socket sets in Metric and Standard from 4mm to 38mm as well as 5/32 to 1-1/4. With my first purchase I received like $90 in credit which I applied toward the bigger socket set on cyber Monday, not only did I get $90 off the 2nd set but I also got $15 credited back to my account. So now I have all the sockets, no skips, the 3 ratchets, the 2 breaker bars, the 6 extensions and 3 universal joints the 1/4 socket driver and 3 cases for all the tools (almost). Also Tekton didn’t me charge tax or shipping and I got them like 2 days later. I did that all on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Today, I bought the Tekton 10 piece screwdriver set and some more Tekton extensions with a home depot gift card I received for Christmas. Unfortunately, I won’t get any credit for those purchases since it was done through Home Depot online. I also purchased from Tekton today all the other chrome extensions that they had on the website so now I will have all of the extensions too. I’m really liking these Tekton tools, they look so good and well made, plus their haggle free warranty is awesome. I wish they offered the 20% credit all the time.😂

Congratulations brother, you definitely bought yourself some very good quality tools. I was excited for you when watching you open them. For the money, warranty and CS it is hard to beat Tekton.
I broke a socket using a 4' bar on a rusted ball hitch nut. I actually got it loose but upon inspection noticed a Crack. Contracted them, sent a picture and 3 days later had a new socket . No questions asked.
I have their red hard handle screwdrivers and I love the feel of them. Plus they are American made. They continue to add more and more tools to in house manufacturing.
The socket case issue. Do not open it up side down, WHY?. Only the lid needs the tools to be secured. The latch is on the lid, it's not a flaw. If you open it up side down that cardboard will also fall out.
Again, Congratulations on your new tool haul.

That’s kinda why I tried a few of the tekton sockets just for this reason. Back then ratcheting wrenches wasn’t a thing and nobody wanted to use a wrench if a socket could do the trick easier. The other thing is them hard to reach areas it holds the bolt in so as not to drop and lose it removing or installing it. Measure the pluses and minuses … I’ve found I go to the deeper sockets most of the time if I have a choice… each tech to their own really …
