Bro, where did you buy the talkies from?
Thanks, you gave me all the reasons NOT to wrap my car !!
A lot of people don’t realize that the torque converter is only for starting. It is locked up shortly after going into 2nd gear.
Mine suddenly - - on the monitor display. 4 sensor. Wired. I've been using for 4.5 years. Any video how to replace the battery?
Hello I am looking to buy option C Duckbill for a 986 1998 Porsche Boxster, can I get a price please?
your pronunciation of doppelkupplungsgetriebe is so funny
I would love Used Cayenne buying guide.
May I know when you said Thomas, is it Thomas Yap video where he is associated with Bobby Ang one that gentleman? Thanks for the video man, you are awesome!
Yup
Guards
so I have been using this and I don't recommend this brand (70mai subs of Xiaomi). The reason: the right to fix: if you buy the internal sensors : no way to replace the internal battery (external sensor can be opened). on top of that: no way to replace the rechargeable LiPo 500mA display battery. If you live in a hot country the sun will cook the display till the battery will swell and then the whole device is dead. no display , wont power even with USB cable. Be sure to buy solar TPMS that has standard screws and can be replaced with a generic battery. its way more important than a 2 psi mismatch in reading... the 2nd issue is spare sensors supply. don't buy from a brand that doesn't sell single sensors as backup. sensor can be damaged by brutal people. anyhow: 70mai tpms is discontinued on 2022 so stay away from them . no future support.
What?
Carmine
Nice watch
How to get left front sensor? I lost mine
You will have to get a new set unfortunately
Do you sell Porsche accessories like what they do at Porsche Center.
Get advise few months ago bought 2014 pbs with 14k was thinking about changing Pdk oil ,now I will .peace of mind.
The PDK is phenomenal. I found the tiptronic uninspiring. Shifts were slow.
Good product. I have been using this internal type 70mai for 2 yrs and it work fine. One of the most useful accessories you can buy that could save you from the high cost of tyre damage. It would be really stupid to not buy a tpms considering the prace of mind it offers and not having to kick your tyres to check their pressure before every trip😊
its seem like a rebuild is impending :(
Thank you that was most helpful with my Boxster 987.2
You're most welcome!
Your video was good but u have to stop saying slush box that's rude 😅
Love this video. So informative for someone who is considering between these 2 models. Is the rims on the 987.2 stock rims?
Those are aftermarket rims
@@ThePorscheLover for city driving, would you think it’s worth paying more for the S, as compared to the base model
Keep up the good work 🎉
Thanks!
Whats better than a Porsche Spyder?? One GT3 RS ❤🥵👌
Haha to each their own
Can i get the stl file
thank you!
You're most welcome!
Hi...thinking of getting a 2017 cayman 2.0.. what do u think of that entry level option. It will be my 1st porsche.
Hi there, I would say why not? Alot of ppl I know dont use the options that they bought the car with, so if you can save abit then why not Go & try a car with options and see how you feel about it. If you are indifferent, then get the entry level and save the money for road trips 👍🏼
Hi bro where in malaysia u suggest to buy parts of cayman? Thanks
Hi bro, you can get from us 👍🏼 wa.me/60355696368
No worries.. if a dude can afford to buy a porsche new or used he can managed the bills that came afterwards 😂😂😂😂😂😂 and that rusty going to eat the metal in a couple of years..but before then just prepared a load of cash so when the times come you had the money standing by😂😂😂😂
As I mentioned in the video, there isn't a need to disassemble the exhaust system part by part On the off chance we need to remove the exhaust, it is usually a complete disassembly of the exhaust system It's just surface rust, it will not 'eat' the metal in a few years. My 997.2 is already 15 years old & the rust hasn't made any holes yet 👌🏼
The day I achieve my dream of owning a 997.1 turbo, i’m bringing it to you Adrian
Thank you sir & hope to hear from you in the future! 🙏🏻
what exhaust was on the 987.1?
It is the original non sport exhaust
Where were you all my life? Awesome channel for Malaysian Porsche enthusiast.
In Glenmarie! Haha Thanks for the kind words bro 🙏🏻
Quick query! Does the tiptronic starts at gear 2 after a drive?
Yup, it usually starts at gear 2
The Best informative video ever for Porsche 911 jump start. Specially how to handle the Negative Claw. GREAT !!
Thanks! Glad you found value in my sharing 🙏🏻
Hi just curious if the 987 have any bore scoring in Malaysia?I am really tempted in getting one.
Bore scoring is possible on any cars due to - low quality engine oil - prolonged service intervals - revving engine hard before it's full warmed up
Did you fix the issue?
It's currently under repairs. Will update more here and on my Instagram
I own a 987 ph2 pdk + pcs. I try both PDK is a way better, no delay, and 7 géar so rallye better for motorway
I had the usb/phone-jack to lighting m for my iPhone X Max but now have the iPhone 15. I thought I just needed a lightning to USB-C converter, but that’s not working. No music is playing. Is there another solution for this?
Im assuming its a 987.1 Unfortunately the only solution we can recommend is to replace it with an aftermarket Android headunit that supports Apple Carplay & that will resolve your connectivity issues
PDK will always be better
In terms of shift speed, most definitely
Bro, may i know how much to install the front and side mesh grill for 981? And how long it's take?

Thanks for the video and great work. I have a 2019 718 Boxster S and thinking of doing this soon even I'm still under 40K miles. QUESTION: So you only changed the filter in the oil pan and not the whole oil pan? Is that correct? How do you do that? Isn't it potentially dangerous? Has anybody had issues doing it that way? Also, have you ever replaced the plastic oil pan with a reusable Metal one, just replace the filter type? Some people have told me this is not a good idea. I've seem some plastic oil pans online from $50 to $500, any thoughts on the quality of any of the cheaper ones? What type of trans oil do you recommend, just Pentosin, or do you think Liqui Moly or Motul are better? Have you heard of their being a rear wheel alignment required after doing the trans service? Finally, what do you think about Liqui Moly products like the engine oil, or the Ceratec or the Pro Line Engine Flush, or any other products you can think of? Thanks a million and keep up the great work.
Wow, that's quite a few questions there. Let me break it down 1. the filter is built into the pan, so we replace the pan 2. No it's not dangerous 3. That's the way to do it 4. We replace it with an original Porsche part only 5. No we only use original, so no comments on aftermarket parts 6. We use original Porsche oil only 7. No, you dont need a rear wheel alignment for PDK oil change 8. we have never used Liqui Moly or Pro Line products, so we cant comment Thanks for watching!
hi I owned myself a 987.1 boxster.. im wondering is there issues converting the headlamp from original to led? the oem taillight as well
If you plan to convert to the factory 987.2 lights, you'll need to change the rear bumper too
Couldn’t finish the video your voice ugh
Your triptronic video made me fall in love with it. And it's still relevant today. Well done. The natural step is to go get it and which I did 😂
Congrats! Enjoy
