    Another possibility that came to my mind was that the tyres were underinflated.
    If the tyres havent been warmed up & the tyre pressure is low, it will perform very differently compared to a warmed up stiffer tyre with higher tyre pressure. Especially more so if the car was pushed hard or to its limits.

      With great power comes great responsibility. I rest my case.

      Nice thoughts bro! But wonder why the rims & tyres were swapped 🤔

    They are appreciating in value these days. Seen one on the market for a cool 2mil. Almost bought a R34 GTR Nür spec 9-10years ago that could go for 1/2 mil. In a way I am glad that I didn’t buy one as I could not have had the 911.

      Well put bro. Am pretty sure that you had alot of enjoyment from your 911 👍🏼

      @@ThePorscheLover It is a practical car if people look past the road tax and maintenance.

    On my 1992 Mitsubishi GTO twinturbo previously, even though it had AWD, it was a mechanical type and rear biased that could oversteer like a RWD car
    Just a quick lift off coming into a corner on a damp road (at slow speed) was enough to send me into a spin (the putra heights entry after mainplace mall)
    From then on I spent more money on getting better quality extreme uhp tyres for my rears (275/35 R18 size)
    Good tyres are a necessity for 90s jdm + driving it with respect and awareness

      You hit the nail right on the head bro.
      But on the brighter side, that also made you a more skilled driver. If you could handle those cars, definitely have learnt more than a thing or two 👍🏼

    There’s a reason why a real BNR34 GTR has AWD… to assist in traction
    A modified GTT having a GTR engine with higher-than-stock power AND being RWD only, is a recipe for either a good drift machine, or a disaster waiting to happen (depending on the driver’s skills)

    Looks like urban roads, narrow, high traffic and looking at the impact driver could be speeding. If I'm paying for a relatively expensive / collectible car, I'd not use a runner to drive it. I'd rather flatbed the car to my place.

      Yea, it's always better to play safe if it's a really expensive & rare car.

    Fire extinguisher saved it from burning down got to give it that. Got a fire extinguisher mount for my 911 last week- simple strap type not the fancy quick release one that’s costly.

    • @ThePorscheLover
      @ThePorscheLover  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, the damage would have been way worse without an extinguisher to put out the flames.
      Nice, would like to see it 👍🏼

    So who pays? insurans?

    • @ThePorscheLover
      @ThePorscheLover  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question bro. Cos the name was just transferred after an hour, it's highly likely the new owner hasnt bought any insurance yet.
      And if he/ she did, it's more than a 15 years old car so most probably wont be comprehensive insurance.
      In the end, the runner will have to bear (if he can afford that is).

    • @Cxs1a3
      @Cxs1a3 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Runner salary sure cannot afford
