i don't use any additives because it states clearly in the user manual not to use them. High quality oils which meets specifications such as mb229.5 and porsche a40 has already the required additives required in the oil. I noticed the pro tec is a mb229.3, which is a lower quality oil with 229.5 standards, i kinda follow the mb229.5 as their requirements are probably the highest standards set in the industry, info can be googled.
Thanks for your feedback bro i don't use any additives because it states clearly in the user manual not to use them. - the user manual you're referring to is the Porsche owner's manual? High quality oils which meets specifications such as mb229.5 and porsche a40 has already the required additives required in the oil. - yup, agreed. Engine oil do have additives inside but they are different from the Bluechem additives. These additives are developed, trademarked & TUV tested. Unsure about other additives brand though. I noticed the pro tec is a mb229.3, which is a lower quality oil with 229.5 standards, i kinda follow the mb229.5 as their requirements are probably the highest standards set in the industry, info can be googled - ah ok, am assuming you're a Merc owner?
@@ThePorscheLover its in my gtr manual . i also own a a207 and previously owned a 997.1 gt3 rs..porsche recommends mobil 1 mostly from factory as they meet the porsche a40 as well as many super cars..these are due to the zddp and phosphorus levels and high evaporation resistance..because mercedes certification is more detailed compared to other german manufacturers I tend to look for 229.5 for all my cars
@@trustgtr33 Ah ok, I see. That's some nice cars you've owned there bro. tbh, my first time I'm hearing that the GTR manual has this stated inside. The SC for the makes you mentioned (Nissan, Mercedes & Porsche) do offer additives for sale at their outlets which seems contradictory to what was written in the manual. Yup, Porsche has had a long history with Mobil 1 since the 356 days which sported the very iconic Pegasus logo. Thanks for the sharing bro & feedback. 👍🏼
Do you use additives for your car? If no, I would love to hear your reasons.
Good job for your video once again. Keep posting :-)
Thanks for your view & support bro 🙏🏻
