From my point of view, that is not a baby face. Definitely a good-looking man's face, with or without the beard. :) The feet are man feet, although I don't know if that changed after you started T. They're bigger than mine and I haven't had much trouble finding shoes in that size. You are a good man!

I just start use Androgel 50mg today, wish to have beard and more muscel.

For running shoes the W means wide, not woman. Also for running it's better to size up. I need to size up and go for the wide as well otherwise my feet fall asleep during the run. Hope this calms you down a bit! I stumbled upon your account and kept following you - your videos have such a calming effect on me. Keep it going!

I can’t even explain how happy I am to have found your channel, the first video I saw was your video on transitioning later in life which made me feel so relieved and at peace with the fact I won’t be able to think about transition until my 30s due to my circumstances (I’m 25 now) Also I was curious for your personal questions if you felt comfortable talking about what you do for work? How has your transition effected your work

Here in the USA I have female friends and coworkers who will buy boys shoes in a certain style because they are remarkably cheaper. Some of my friends are average height or taller too and they don't seem to have a problem finding boy's sizes that fit them. Have you tried looking in the boys section?

is it a europe thing? i'm an eu 39 or 40 and i've always worn male shoes unless i'm borrowing one of my sis's expensive shoes. those sizes are available most places aren't they

Do you ever speak more than one language while having a conversation with someone accidentally? Thank you for the vicarious trip outside today, beautiful scenery! Here in the US, they make women's shoes a bit more flimsy and cheap, they fall apart much quicker than men's shoes. I have small feet, and usually shop in the boy's section. I also need wide shoes, those are hard to find in boy's size over here as well. I have a second question too, do they put chemicals in your tap water that make it taste weird over there? I have to run mine through a filter before I can drink it.

1 amazing thing I saw on your run, is no graffiti in the tunnel walls. I trimmed with a buzz trimmer. I think feeling the hair is like a security thing for me lol. Im size 42 in shoes. I have NO arch, so I have no problem and have been buying mens shoes even before I came out. I prefered mens t-shirts as well. I wear water shoes for water. They look like trainers but soooo light. I dont get fitted, I just go to Kmart or order online. I was expecting the top to come off your blender haha. Man, your legs look so good. Im jealous!!! As an older transman, my skin is starting to sag, testosterone hasnt saved my skin. I have noticed more muscle on my shoulders tho. Ooof, I should really water my plants outside. I have about 4 long bits of hair right on my forehead, where my hairline used to be LMAO, 😅🤣 It has receeded a little bit. My hair has always been really thick. So far so good. I had to go to the gynaecology department this week. Not the greatest experience as a trans man. I came out in my late 50s Daan. Im kind of mourning the "young" man I could have been. Im transitioning into an old man now. Time is a cruel partner. :)

1K subs! Going to buy the new camera? I haven't done anything with legos in years, that looks fun and turned out great! As for hair loss, I wear mine as a badge of accomplishment, I'm 47 years old. I feel like I've earned every gray hair and bald spot/receding hairline! I wish I could have had more time with my hair as well of course, but now I decided to have fun with wearing different types/styles of hats! 😀 I've also thought about doing random henna patterns on my head once my hair is almost or completely gone. I love drawing/art, and henna wears off after a while so it's not permanent like tattoo hair I've seen people try to do.

I guess you take the bad with the good. I think I read something about how guys with good beards are more likely to go bald. However, I'd like to say I think we look good :)

Great video as always tho I wish I had the same approach to the topic as you. I'm not on T yet, but my dad went bald in his late 20s and paternal grandfather at 20... It's my biggest insecurity and while T will give me wellbeing, I'm afraid of losing hair as well as problems with acne. Maybe I'll grow into the decision to embrace it and let it go eventually, but guess I'll take finasteride first.

I was actually looking at your back tattoo more though, great artwork! Clean straight lines and good detail! The other day my maintenance guy stopped in and I didn't even think about putting a shirt on before I answered my door. It made him uncomfortable I could tell, so I apologized and put one on. The next time he called first instead of dropping by unannounced as well. I'm a night owl, so I'm not awake when the rest of the people around here are. I tell everyone "good morning" when I come outside around 3pm, and tell them I'm going to go eat breakfast around 4pm. It's caught on as light-hearted fodder for conversation when I'm around ☺ Is that the neighbor's cat? I hope you reach 1000 subs 👍

Not a psychiatrist, but maybe self-criticism is just a bit of leftover dysphoria? I realize it isn’t helpful, but you look fine to me, including the bushy crown of hair. 😉 If you’re concerned about it receding, oral minoxidil works much better than the topical treatment, although it can lower the blood pressure. Public filming is a strength you can practice. I certainly don’t notice anyone watching me taking photos, no matter how strange I may look doing it. 😂 Stay in the moment, and you’ll be fine. 😺✌️

There's something really comforting about your videos... Maybe it's your voice, or maybe it's just the way you exist with your own self. I know insecurities are difficult to get rid of... But what matters is that you can sit with yourself at the end of each day.

Daan Love the video and topic, including kitchen mishap for a little comic relief. :) As an older trans woman I feel the same way, living in a hot apartment without air conditioning, doing dishes in front of the kitchen window, without a bra or shirt. A friend of mine, a trans man, said the same “let them look, what does it matter.”

And loved your videos, I'm Transman , one and a half year of transition, and a see myself in same situation, but at the same time, I'm just enjoying the process, getting more confortable with myself, finally beeing my true self. So i trully believe that with time everthing Will get in place. I totally agree with you that terapy and knowing ourselfs is essencial 😊

Sorry you got so sick!! I ended up with pneumonia 1 week before my 2 week break. My kids got COVID. lol. They are still sick but Im recovered now. As a trans man, my voice is my biggest betrayal of me. Im always getting misgendered. Im getting facial hair, Im pre surgery.... its not that great. I hope my connection will be better once I have top surgery. I dont think of dating until I have top surgery. My thoughts return to my body when I do think of dating. We all hope people want us for who we are not what our bodies can give them or look like. I think too much lol. Hope you are feeling better Daan. Your legs are my goals 😊😊

I'm not in your condition, but I think that even though it's important to listen to the messages that our body sends us, this shouldn't affect us too much in our daily lives. It seems to me that there is an excessive concern with the signals you receive, or perhaps, you think you receive. I am, closed in a loop, after the death of my mother, voluntarily isolated from the outside, work, social relationships, which represent an insurmountable mountain, I know that I should force myself to change habits, to go back to living during the day and sleeping during the day. night...but then I wonder why? For whom should I do it? I feel so good closed in the house, I sleep during the day, I eat breakfast at 6pm, then I watch a series on TV, and then with my gin and tonic, I spend the night in front of the PC, until 7am, the time when I go to sleep . My body sends me signals, which I'm putting on my stomach and hips, for the rest I'm too thin, I know I eat badly, and all the drugs they give me leave me exhausted, without a will anymore... But I feel like it good anyway, I won't go to the beach... so no one will laugh at that ridiculous 2 meter tall man, all skin and bones, apart from his belly, who seems to be expecting a baby... after all, I haven't been there since 2016 I never took a holiday again, from 2017 to 2020 I looked after my mother, stuck in a bed, after 2 brain haemorrhages, 4 years ago, June 2020 she flew away, and with her my will to live... my partner 27 years old, he tries to encourage me, in a sweet way, but I'm fine just locked in the house, my mother's house, where I have remained ever since, I have to free up and sell my house in the city where I lived and worked before... but not I want to do all that hustle and bustle, so I spend to keep two houses up... I sold the third one 2 years ago because it was my grandparents' house, too many memories, the ones I face every day in this, packed house are enough for me , of mum's things, clothes, shoes, which I can't find the courage to give away... I don't know if I would empty the other house to sell it where I would put everything that's inside. Maybe I'm waiting for some Angel to come down from Heaven to give me a hand... Sorry... I talked about my own business, instead of giving a hand to you and your questions... I hope you'll give me a second chance.... I, trans person myself, can totally relate! I think that in some cases, we're so much more aware of our existence and also thinking about it way more than many cis people in their whole life ever will! This is a gift but also a burden from time to time. I always struggled with the proverb "just listen to your body". Dude, my body is not reflecting me and doesn't listen to my mind, I don't feel any connection sometimes - how should I listen to this. 😂 But: I'm now in a very good stage where I changed my body to feel more comfortable. I feel more comfortable every day and this makes it a whole lot easier to "listen to your body". It's different every day and it will always be a process and never a finish line. You're doing great by all this self-reflection! Wish you a great summer! Use it to find some new passions! :)

Have you named your spider? They have a neat way of getting attention, they wave the big fuzzy things in front to say hello 😊 I agree with you about taking care of the inside as well as the outside. I've been getting older and it's definitely becoming more prominent how tenuous that balance can be, whether sick or not sick. Getting up and moving becomes harder but I still get up for walks and such, and hopefully I'll get my bicycle fixed up and go for a ride tomorrow. I've had long covid and just got put on prednisone to hopefully help my body heal a bit faster. Complete lack of energy and heart issues have kept me on the couch since December, I'm getting antsy to be outside! I hope you feel better soon, be kind to yourself and your body while it heals ☺

For me as an another trans person it’s something similar. Sometimes I would like to not focus so much in my body, and I have tried uselessly to change my mind, trying to run away from being trans. I think this is an issue that we use to overthink a lot because we have this feeling of discomfort with our bodies, that it’s the one that pushes us into transitioning. We start to think about our body and and mind connection again and again because we always have this sensation that something it’s not right, trying to figure out a perfect solution to calm this feeling.
