You've got all my respect from Chicago USA. Yes, you are more than Trans, absolutely. I'm more than just being a Gay guy. Always out and proud, but I'm much more than the label as are you. I bet you sing well, you have a lovely voice. Hugs.

Many parts to make up the whole as it relates to life in general for sure.. This was great to see your area and shops/store..Brings balance to the picture and the personality around life in general and gives a window into location and environments... Kindness your way..Lochness Scottish Highlands..

Almost to 1000 subscribers!!! Keep up the good work. The video from last week was a very important video. It touched on a very important topic and you presented it well. Never feel bad about your videos. You sound a lot better than the last video. Like the new haircut. What was walking all over your car? At least the creature which left paw prints should have left you a few euros to get a car wash. What kind of material is the new ukulele made of? When does the baby grand piano arrive? Any more instruments and you will need a bigger place to live.
Wished you had filmed inside the store. It is always interesting to see stores in other countries and how much things cost.
    Have a good week!!

I completely agree that we are all more than trans. We have lives, interests, hobbies, jobs, and other things besides trans related things. I try to be well-rounded. I have an interest on many topics, as well as a sense of humor that can pull my friends out of a funk if they need something to take their minds off their troubles if only for a moment. The videos made for this doesn't mean our whole life is just the one topic 24/7/365.
One thing that I like to see is people who share other things in general (What comes to mind was the first video I watched on your channel (found in my suggested section) was you putting something on a jacket and heating it up? What was that? Wax of some sort I think?). I love seeing other ways of doing things because living in the US, it feels one sided (If it's broke/not working, go buy a new one instead of learning to fix it/take care of it so it lasts longer). Other interesting differences like that are brain candy to me 😊
What drew me to your channel first of course was the trans part, but what kept my interest was the nature parts (backyard birds, walking, enjoying the outdoors).
Video schedules are too stringent to get views or get in a suggested section in my opinion. I subscribe to many channels who don't post regularly. I consider them "surprise presents" when they post, it keeps things interesting and less pressure for creators to push out content. I feel a bit bad when creators do "vlogmas" and you can tell they're burned out from trying to film, edit, and post every day.
I like the second Ukulele sound better, it's more resonant. It sounds warmer and deeper with the same notes compared to the other one. You have a wonderful singing voice! 🎶
16:00 Hehe! Paw prints on the car 😍🐾🐾🐾🐾
Wait, what? Are the steering wheels on the left side of the car over there?
The new coffee maker is HUGE! lol
I hope you have a good week, thank you for the video!

thank you daan! This is exactly what I always emphasized. The reason why sometimes I prefer not to tell anyone is because they reduce my whole identity to being this.

I think you were pretty honest with your feelings around dysphoria. I understand what you mean. At the moment Im pretty much involved with trans issues because Im transitioning and trans surgeries arent available in my country with the government. I like to help other trans people to find what they need through my social media.
Just like you can be a parent, its part of what you are, but not the whole of who you are.
Dysphoria is a big deal, so don't sell yourself short. It can shape the way you live until you can alleviate it. I like your honest content. I enjoy getting to know you better through your videos and I love what I see. ^^
I gotta drag out my violin lol plus I also have a broken flute that I always wanted to play

I've always enjoyed the mix of activities and trans content. I subscribed because of the artistry and trans content. You're awesome Daan. Don't second guess yourself brother

Well said Dean 🙂 I wonder if my comment on your last video appeared to place too much emphasis on masculinity, I hope not. We all have many depths and layers to who we are. For reference masculinity doesn't really enter my mind and I don't particularly see myself as either male/female etc. essentially as you rightly said in this video first and foremost I am me. 🙂I am fortunate that I don't go second guessing myself, not everyone is that lucky.
Anyway as you rightly portrayed in this video it's about balance and correct context. As a loyal subscriber I like many others like to get a glimpse of essentially who you are, what's current in your life, what motivates and inspires you etc. etc. This video did just that. It also re-kindled my interest in coffee and I was pleasantly surprised at how musically gifted you are too... I like many others are looking forward to your next upload. ❤

What shall we do with the drunken sailor. Liked you singing and shows another side to your life.
    Hey Dan, love your new haircut, strangely this has made your appearance more masculine (in my opinion}
If you would like some ideas for future vlogs May I suggest some content showing sites of your country. I’ve visited Rotterdam years ago, and loved it.
You are adding topics of general interest about daily life which I find interesting too. Love your new coffee machine, I have a DeLongi bean to cup machine and there is no comparison with powdered coffee. I find ‘Coffee Mate’ the best milk for enhancing flavour. Have you tried it?
You mentioned trans dis phobia, my take on last weeks vlog was that this was over hyped and with 99% being happy and only 1% being unhappy, this showed a great success for those that transitioned. I would say this is a 99% success rate, which is truly amazing.
Keep up your vlogs, I for one look forward to your weekly videos and a change of day that it arrives wouldn’t matter to me.
Take care Dan and already looking forward to your video next week
    Gerry

With your new coffee machine, we won't have to "buy you a coffee". We will have to contribute to your "coffee bean fund." Upgraded machine needs better beans and "real" milk.
