You lost the touch of exploring and it simply felt like I had to speedrun to get anywhere at all. Varkids are also a little annoying, never look forward to killing those bastards.
For normal mobbing I have to go with the Skeleton Seer/Conjurer/Mage from BL2's Tina dlc, especially at OP10. They teleport around the battlefield and abuse the fact that they can do so to hell and back while also firing shock bolts. They are the only reason I break out the transformer and norfleet simply because I hate dealing with them.
Always agree with Rabid Stalkers on a list like this. Only regular enemy that I truly hate with a burning passion in all of Borderlands. And the main reason I always carry some form of strong electric weapon/nade(Stormfront go Brrr.)
Biggest problem for me with EOS is it would glitch and become invulnerable. Nothing like getting a major boss down to 10% of its health and then finding you cannot hurt it anymore.
There was a kind of safe zone in which one could use to a advantage. If one had the lazer rifle that super trap dropped that fired all elements it would fire through the shield at the top of the stage. Though it was a long process to be honest & if one walked back to buy ammo it would trigger the stage to restart.
Personally, I would have included the Skeleton Seer enemies from the Dragon Keep DLC/Standalone. Unlike Stalkers, which just turn invisible, the Skeletons straight-up disappear and cannot be hurt until pop up in a different location to plaster you with another shock blast. They are annoying to take out, they can dish out a lot of damage (particularily if you are playing a more squishy character like Zer0) and they are usually thrown in with a bunch of other skeleton enemies, which are all kind of nasty (the second worst skeleton is the archer variety btw since they can stun you):
I think he is the most well balanced raid boss in the entire game, he isnt too hard but isnt too easy, plus he has a high chance to drop a legendary, plus i think he is a fun boss fight.
Most annoying normal enemies for me are either Rabid Stalkers from BL2 or any of the really tanky Rakks in BL3. Thank god you only really fight those in the Cistern of Slaughter. Raid boss its either Master Gee or Dexi. Both just suck.
As much as I love Borderlands 1, Alpha Skags are terrible to fight, especially on newer characters. Feels like they have 100% damage resistance from the front and they are so common
if you're new to Borderlands 2 or don't know about strategy, Saturn is absolutely bs without using hiding spots or the most effective builds. huge health pool, seemingly unavoidable attacks, and lackluster drops. feels like the devs had fun making it at least. big ol super bot that can blast away any resistance
Zombie Island of Dr. Ned is still one of my favorite DLC's. I feel bad for the people who didn't get to experience the joy of the first real looter shooter after years of anticipation. I played WoW and Halo for years, and always wished that they would mash the two together. Then, one day, I got my Game Informer magazine in the mail, and there it was, Borderlands, a first person/rpg shooter, from the guys who worked on Halo. My prayers had been answered, and I have been hooked on the franchise ever since. It's the greatest game franchise ever, imo.
I never attempted Gee more than once. Figured it was not worth my time honestly, especially with him not really dropping much that I've heard is good except for the Ahab which I know can be used for a glitch.
I didn't really find EOS to be all that hard to kill, just takes a while cuz of the immunity phases. It's really a shame that the pre sequel's development was cut short, it had so much potential.
This is a very good and relate able list. Keep the awesome videos coming K6!!! I used to think the rabid enemies we're annoying but the militant anointed guys are so much worse.
As far as bosses go? I'd agree that Master Gee is the least fun boss in any of the games, though he shares that title with EOS. Named Enemies? Probably Maxtrillion or Spongeboss Bullet pants, just because they take a while to kill for one of more reasons. Unnamed badass rank enemies? Spiderant kings, mostly because they're great at hiding their crit spot and they have their stupid grapple move that forces you to pay attention to them rather than whatever (probably arms race) enemy you were trying to take out before it kills you. And the most annoying mob just all around? Wardogs. Shield draining, building hopping gun toting Wardogs. Though, I don't actually have an issue with the one that's part of the Heavyweight Harker boss fight simply because they made it shield draining move a triggered arena trap that can be avoided rather than just randomly having an AOE that empties shields just trigger randomly in what are often close quarters. Oh, and bloated/chromatic rakk. Just because they're a pain in the ass to hit in the Cistern of Slaughter and can take a long time to take out.
Those were all pretty solid picks - particularly the Annointed Militant. I'm not sure its quite fair to call the badass Maliwan Badass Frontrunners annoying exactly, but their combination of extraordinary mobility and firepower does make them a headache at times (although when they bound away after opportunistically downing me, that is at least a little annoying - surveyors in Bl2 had a similar MO, just without the initial danger of the Badass Frontrunners.)
I'm surprised surveyors aren't in this tbh they're just like mosquitoes. They're fast and annoying and they're 90% of the reason your bee shield isn't working.
I just finished the claptrap dlc for the first time. EOS felt amazing to go against. Granted I died so many times but it felt like a good challenge. Granted I was on normal with Doppelganger but I'm happy to look forward to a extremely challenging boss later. Especially since I one shot the raid boss pretty easily.
I did the Gee fight one time on PS3 with a Maya I was going into UVHM with and did it on Normal Mode and it still took almost an hour. I swore never to do that fight again. A PS4 and Switch ports of BL2 later...never bothered with Gee. Another boss that's annoying to me is MINAC from Claptrap's Robo Revolution. All the turrets, the shields, I really hated that fight.
Who was it that thought a randomly spawning enemy with the ability to just become flat out immune to damage was a good idea? Immunity phases are annoying when they're part of boss encounters and have a limited number of uses, having them be a part of the normal experience is just suffering distilled.
There honestly should've been a separate list because this felt more like annoying bosses. Anyway, I would've included the Hyperion Infiltrators, the RPG Loaders, Threshers (especially the Wormhole ones), and the Dusters from 2, the Badass Dwarves and the War Orge (or whatever they're called. The big dudes who wallop you) from 2: AoD, and any enemy who use jetpacks from TPS. I'm still relatively new to BL, having completed TPS a week or two ago and I've just now started the DLC. Currently on Assault on Dragonkeep.
Glad to see Defilers on this list. Easy to forget being tucked away back in BL1 but my God were they annoying. Anything that impairs your vision sucks. Combine impaired vision with glued to the floor slow movement.... double suck
Reflect Skeletons from tiny Tiny DLC because I'm Spray and pray Gaige main. Overall any reflect enemies that are just randomly in other groups. Also wormhole threshers, those are a nightmare while leveling.
during the EOS fight, ammo crates can be *infinitely* spawned for more ammo, and theres a ton of them around the arena at that, and for the giant Destroyer beam, crouch behind... anything really, the beam is actually really easily blocked Beams not being able to hit it at all is really annoying though yeah, but i personally hate Eclipse a LOT more
I do agree with most of these, but imo EOS doesn't even belong on this list. I quite liked that fight, tho it sure is challenging fight for a normal story boss. Haderax wasn't that bad either, and also it has perhaps the best combat music. Vora, Dexi or perhaps the skeleton mages from Tina DLC on the other hand should have been on the main list.
Y'all have no idea how happy and infuriated I was after killing Eclipse and EOS first time,37 tries and nearly an hour straight of using terrain to cheese some attacks
Also, another thing about Master Gee, his death was gliched. Basically if you got him to absorb more of the Puddles then the DOTs would get stronger... but if they're too strong and he dies to his poison worm DOT and not you're weapon then it does not count that you killed him. I literally never finished this quest because of this.
7:45 - I'm gonna disagree with this bit, but only from pure luck. The first time I fought him was during Playthrough 1 as Krieg on the PS4, and he dropped a lvl 30 Evolution shield for me, which has a smaller chance to drop from him than it does from Hyperius. It was my first Seraph item too, so quite happy with it at the time.
as someone who mainly plays coop, gee wasn't that bad cause i just had my friend playing gaige running around baiting him into puddles with deathtrap and i just sat around near the gate healing him with a maya nurse build
i remember doing the main quest around the eridium pipe lines. some glitch happen and every enemies spawned with rockets. over 70% of loaders too was rpg loaders
rabid stalkers were nightmare ... until I´ve played as a Krieg with the Beast build. All of the sudden it was more like "oh yeah, here kitty kitty pspspsps"
Honestly, I despise the guardians from BL1. They move so incredibly fast (so much so, that I can't get away from them), they have stupid thick shields, they hit like a flaming semi truck falling on your face (at least for regular enemies), and it's really difficult to hit their heads for crits. The only saving grace is that shock damage decimates their shields, but I mean, if I'm being perfectly honest, that's pretty much the only real use I've ever had for shock.
A couple of bosses in TPS (RK5, Eclipse) wouldn't despawn if you died, even if you quit out and restarted. Eclipse could kill you again before you could leave the respawn area, making dying even more annoying.
I just got through the Cistern of Slaughter, and those goddamn badass rakks on max Mayhem drive me insane. The reduced amount of projectile speed bonuses in BL3 really hits hard when all you took were slower flight speed weapons...
Bro The Sorcerer (Handsome Jack) in Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep was SO hard to beat. I played the entire dlc with my friend and it wasn’t as much that he killed you that much but he had like 3 STAGES OF HEALTH AND EACH ONE REGENERATED A SHIELD. It was so time consuming but it was actually pretty fun with my friend.
The EOS phase of the Shadowtrap boss fight was by far the most difficult boss I ever fought in the Pre-Sequel…even as Jack’s Bodydouble, this boss was a huge pain in the crack.
Borderlands is a fun series but one thing they've seemed to always struggle with is boss fights. But my most annoying mob enemies that I can remember off the top of my head is 1. Wormhole Threshers 2. Badass Pyro Threshers 3. Rabid anything 4. Lab Rats 5. Flying enemies. Especially Varkids as they'll continue to shoot at you from across the map 6. Any badass with a shield
OMG so glad you lumped basically everything from Hammerlock DLC together in 1 pile because JFC, I hated that expansion's enemies. Ugh and I ran a Sniper build Zer0 back in the day with my friend as we went through all of BL2, and so the idiots with the damn tower shields just drove me batshit. We actually both loved Badassasaurus though lol, but that's because that whole DLC was just Torgue goodness
Yeh, that DLC is a pain for sniper Zer0. I also wonder who decided that in a Hammerlock-DLC aka the Dude who loves Jakobs so much he literally married their boss, there should be a ton of enemies that you really wouldn't want to fight with Jakobs weapons because they are protected from headshots.
@@darthplagueis13 BL2 as a whole was poorly balanced, like easily the worst of all 4 games. It had the best cast, stories and memorable moments by far, but my god a wet turd could have done a better job of balancing combat.
I hate Rakks, Skags, and most of the common creature respawning enemies the most. You will just be trying to go somewhere or get something done, and they pop up. Or you finish killing a group, only for the group to respawn and be on your again. And they don’t often feel like a challenge or special. They are just a very common minor hindrance which wastes a bit of time and maybe ammo. Also they don’t drop anything good.
The Shielded Teleporting Seer skeletons in Wonderlands can be annoying. Especially on a Death Save when you whittle them down and they teleport away with a new full shield every time. I would definitely fully level up a Pimp Class where I could just choke out one of these skeletons. Maybe a Pimp-o-Mancer...choke em out and revive em. They give you money for their kills?!?
I'm surprised the Skeleton mages from the Tina expansion didn't make the list, those enemies suck so much it's unbelievable, especially on UVHM forward.
Basically every bl2 invincible boss in op lvls. Because all of them are nearly impossible to kill in any acceptable amount of time solo without using some type of exploited interection with items or skills bore being one example or Salvador money shot. If you have best infinite pistol and bee shield in bl2 go to hammerlock hunt dlc the invincible boss from that if you use the glitch to get under the map it'll legit take around 40 mins for him to die if you never stop shooting and he just sets there. enless they rescaled the Boss sense last time I played in past 3 years or lowered his health.
Outside of the side glitch, I feel EOS isn't that annoying to fight (Then again, I main Doppelganger, so it's always been an easy fight for me). He's a 'raid' boss that felt like it was a fair fight, especially considering the only actual raid boss in the game is literally fighting the Sentinel again. No, the most annoying bosses are the ones that won't even show up for you to fight, which is why my my most annoying bosses are Vermy/Triple o. I to this day still have never found Vermy, and only Triple o twice. I would put Master Gee in 2nd if he didn't have that wall/gate glitch, so instead I put Voracidous 2nd. You know you're badly designed when a gun that is almost universally hated (trespasser) kinda has to be farmed to make that fight less annoying, and that's the whole purpose of that gun.
@@KamikaziiKidd I actually didn't know he spawned more regularly in the Creature Slaughter Dome. I rarely play any of them Slaughter Domes because I'd rather use the kitten than the hail anyway, don't care for the creamer or the amor. Maybe I have to go back to try to get him to spawn...
The hammerlock dlc enemies were easily the worst mob enemies imo. As a krieg main I like getting up close and personal but when the witch doctors sit on a ledge aimbotting you it’s pretty annoying.
As Krieg main too I always had this one of my easiest DLCs to do because close to nothing is immune to fire. Love enemies weak to fire... that's why I liked the last DLC too...
the skeletons. Like, fire skeletons shoot an annoying flying skull at you. glass skeletons reflect everything unless it's a headshot. And wizard skeletons shoot BEFORE appearing at you. Assault on Dragonkeep hat the worst enemies
Duke of Orc in Borderlands 2. Shadow Trap from the Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 1 I have to say that guy that you have to destroy that is in a van to get to New Haven.
EOS is a pushover (apart from the immunity phases) if you have a Mongol launcher, he's that big, and that far away that emptying a clip at him will fill the sky with rockets, and wipe his shield and health bar out in seconds.
As someone who is playing through the handsome collection for the 1st and almost finished with my TVHM playthrough. The random Cryo resistant enemies are freaking annoying especially if you are doing a pure cryo build for Aurelia😅

I really don't think he's annoying, is so easy to obliterate him from the existence... He's like... Graveward from Pre-Sequel...
I think he is the most well balanced raid boss in the entire game, he isnt too hard but isnt too easy, plus he has a high chance to drop a legendary, plus i think he is a fun boss fight.
I think EOS should've been a raid boss. cmon, you're fighting a projection of a planet destroying space station
@@Cuestrupaster especially on Athena just max stack malestrom and use a mongol after a kill and disintegrate him into atoms
@@parkasaurus7311 Considering the bug with the Mongol you can insta kill him with anyone...
Any enemy that kills me and then sprints away to find cover
Marauders are exactly this, I remember Joltz and K6 failing the peak because one of those, it was so funny though...
Most annoying normal enemies for me are either Rabid Stalkers from BL2 or any of the really tanky Rakks in BL3. Thank god you only really fight those in the Cistern of Slaughter.
Raid boss its either Master Gee or Dexi. Both just suck.
Those rabid stalker really give me nightmares, man I hate them, and never beaten master gee😭😢
@@jameshn504 I fought Master Gee exactly once legit. Ever since then I always crushed him the door.
@@riemaennchen Making him take one tick and hiding behind the rock is still legit... but there's really no reason... just keep crushing him...
flying enemies can still be tagged by atlas guns. try something like multi tap.
You can insta-kill him with the gate for an easy Ahab.
but its easiest raid boss, you don’t need any gun to kill him, just a decent enough gun to kill the worms
Im honestly glad to see that you still make content of borderlands
prob my top 10 worst enemies of borderlands are
10: bloated rakk's from borderlands 3
9: wormhole threshers
8: rocket goliath's
7: vampire witchdoctor's
6: vermi
5: rabid stalkers
4: annoited militants
3: skeleton mages from tina's dlc
2: constructors and surveyors from boderlands 2
1: master gee
Yeah...
Annointed Tinks are pretty annoying too since they shrink down so small that you won't know where they are until they hit you.
Super-funny and relatable. Definitely worth doing more of these--the comments alone that were generated were excellent as well.
Enemies in vehicles are the absolute worst
Skeleton Mages BL2 were awful, teleported away before you could hit them with anything!
MINAC is very hard, but as long you have CORROSION! It's fairly easy...
Mage skeletons in TTAODK ... Didn't even need to think about it.
Who was it that thought a randomly spawning enemy with the ability to just become flat out immune to damage was a good idea? Immunity phases are annoying when they're part of boss encounters and have a limited number of uses, having them be a part of the normal experience is just suffering distilled.
I could genuinely not agree more with this, master gee just screwed me over
There honestly should've been a separate list because this felt more like annoying bosses.
Rabid stalkers. That's like, the correct answer.
Evil Lilith is like the easies boss - Brick and Mordeci are WAY tougher - Lilith is a joke, super predictable attack patterns
She’s annoying not so much hard
during the EOS fight, ammo crates can be *infinitely* spawned for more ammo, and theres a ton of them around the arena at that, and for the giant Destroyer beam, crouch behind... anything really, the beam is actually really easily blocked
Beams not being able to hit it at all is really annoying though yeah, but i personally hate Eclipse a LOT more
the most annoying enemy is brick after you meet him for the first time in borderlands 2
Threshers are terrible cause there is no way to counter the way they suck you in
anything that can fly. especially rakks. and any type of rabid creature.
Most annoying fight by FAR is the neverending bout with Sanctuary 3's Bank Space in BL3
I killed him recently after looking up the door glitch and re-specing my Salvador to be able to punch him into the door
There's a reason I've only beaten Master Gee using the cheese strat. Doing the fight legit is ridiculous.
"and Gee drops absolutely nothing of value" you say whilst wielding the most broken Sal combo, Courtesy of Master Gee of course. 😜
Touché
I just got through the Cistern of Slaughter, and those goddamn badass rakks on max Mayhem drive me insane. The reduced amount of projectile speed bonuses in BL3 really hits hard when all you took were slower flight speed weapons...
One time RK5 from TPS was so annoying too (drops...) , but hammerlock dlc is truly full of yikes
But my most annoying mob enemies that I can remember off the top of my head is
1. Wormhole Threshers
2. Badass Pyro Threshers
3. Rabid anything
4. Lab Rats
5. Flying enemies. Especially Varkids as they'll continue to shoot at you from across the map
Extra salt in the wound with rabid stalkers is that rabid skags offer x4 the exp so yeah a pain in the ass and not even rewarding
YES...
Last boss in the phycho krieg campaign is a bullet sponge that hits like a train if I remember correctly
I get the rabid stalkers because “oh you wanted to move? Nah I choose where you go or whether you go”
5:49
That developer sure had a fun time making Badassasaurus Rex that tough to kill.
i’ve only beat badassasaurus rex legit like once bc i didn’t realize you could cheese it. first playthrough of bl2 and it took so long
I hate Rakks, Skags, and most of the common creature respawning enemies the most. You will just be trying to go somewhere or get something done, and they pop up. Or you finish killing a group, only for the group to respawn and be on your again.
And they don’t often feel like a challenge or special. They are just a very common minor hindrance which wastes a bit of time and maybe ammo. Also they don’t drop anything good.
the most annoying enemy for me in bl3 is the anointed zealots
The Shielded Teleporting Seer skeletons in Wonderlands can be annoying. Especially on a Death Save when you whittle them down and they teleport away with a new full shield every time.
I would definitely fully level up a Pimp Class where I could just choke out one of these skeletons.
Maybe a Pimp-o-Mancer...choke em out and revive em. They give you money for their kills?!?
4:18 okay idk why but I never had any trouble with the defilers. They were just a minor annoyance for me
Gate crushing Gee never gets old though. Requires a bit of set up, but seeing him get splooshed is always fun.
Idk why but I despise the angelic guard the first time I have seen it
The 1st boss in Borderlands Presequal that guy was horrible to fight jumping around everyone and takes you down in 1 to 2 hits
I'm surprised the Skeleton mages from the Tina expansion didn't make the list, those enemies suck so much it's unbelievable, especially on UVHM forward.
Love these top 10 videos :-) , most annoying ? every boss in bl2 until I discovered k6 + Joltz , my swearing decreased so much after that .
Great list!
No badass pyre thresher? That nova every time they pop out of the ground is savage
All anointed are pains to fight
that one badass constructor before you fight the BNK-3R is the most annoying to me
ive lost a couple of hours trying to get past him
Basically every bl2 invincible boss in op lvls.
His health actually doubled since the last time you played (with the new level cap)
Top tens are always my most favorite vids to watch from K6 and I know I will watch this a few more times in the next few months
the skeletons.
Damn the quality of your content and script keeps getting better good job
As someone who is playing through the handsome collection for the 1st and almost finished with my TVHM playthrough. The random Cryo resistant enemies are freaking annoying especially if you are doing a pure cryo build for Aurelia😅
I agree. Master gee sucks. I'd much rather fight hyperious. Atleast he fights fairly. Wait......
