Sand hawk + Bee in BL2 was pretty bad ass. Would have had it in my top10 list. I probably would have had Norfleet as #1, as with the right gear (like you mentioned) unlike the plasma coil (unless using Moze) you had infinite ammo and destroyed anything on screen.
Maybe not for VS Boss gameplay, but the Hellwalker completely broke my progression in my first playthrough. Oneshots small enemies almost all the way up to the final boss, and considering how early I got it it absolutely destroyed my want for any other gun... also the doom music that plays when you use it helped with that too
ridiculous, i'm currently at level 38 and I'm using it since level 34. the game already felt too easy using amara close-range one-shot fists, now this weapon deals 38k damage at level 35? ooook
Combining the "Inconceivable" and "Money Shot" skills to proc Money Shot multiple times with the DPUH is how I basically never died and destroyed raid bosses
I’d like to give an honorable mention to the Lady Fist from Borderlands 2. This is my favorite gun in the series, and I’m totally not peeved that they cut it from The Pre-Sequel at all! That sucker did 800% crit damage! It was also a Hyperion pistol, meaning it was super easy to hit headshots with it. I wish they would have made a follow-up for BL3, maybe the Lady Arm, a Hyperion SMG with 1000% crit damage? At the very least, they could’ve passed that insane crit damage to the Unforgiven. I just love how much k6 clearly knows about the games and has been around forever. This was an awesome trip down memory lane for a series that has been dear to my heart for nearly a decade now.
If I had to add one to the list, it would be the Redundant Fibber from BL2, especially on Gaige. That thing made the concept of aiming fly out the window.
I would include the ogre from Borderlands 1 and I also remember a Hyperion gun that fired the electric and corrosive element very quickly at the same time, that gun caused a lot of damage. Also from Borderlands 1.
The Maliwan Hellfire from Borderlands 1 was pretty OP, especially if you got good rolls on it. I had one that I took from level 25 playthrough 1 all the way to Baron Flynt in playthrough 2. Also, the Volcano in BL1 I found to be pretty beastly as well.
The pimpernell and norfleet ought to get top spot if you took Salvador into consideration. You give one of the most op rifles the damage of one of the most op launchers (what is the norfleet categorized as again?). Though I don’t know if the pimpernell glitch is still around but if it is, I know what I’m doing my next play through.
most of these I only toyed around with but yeah, they're ridiculous! I have to say that there were 4 that I was kinda surprised weren't on the list (but that could just be me) the Hellfire and Defiler from BL1 and TK's Wave/ hellwalker from BL3.
the current lob is still in a playable category at least, i wouldnt waste my rockets trying to run yellowcake now, but the lob can still be fun for mobbing and will work on bosses you can get close enough to with it. its right there for me with roisen's thorns for being a currently non meta but still fun and good gun to use. Also its one of those guns that if youre just starting and havent climbed to M10 endgame yet and still pushing the story for a first playthru, its the kind of gun that will absolutly tear
Surprised the Bonus Package didn't make it here as well, once got a level 2 from Boom Bewm and it lasted throughout the entirity of Borderlands 2's Normal mode on Zer0.
I'm not really a meta player so I don't know where it would fit, but I always thought the BL1 Vitriolic Crux was unbelievably op. Also, idk of it counts as op, but the Grog Nozzle is still my favorite BL gun of all time.
I got that maliwan pistol when my buddy and I reached hammerlock in 3. The smile is still on my face today when I think of how much destruction it brought.
Another good honorable mention would've been the Flakker/Torgue Launcher combo in BL2. Absolutely shredded as long as enemies didn't resist explosive damage👍
HOW HAS NOBODY MENTIONED THE GROG NOZZLE????? It is literally an absolute must on every single character in borderlands 2 no matter what build you have or what character you are using you have a grog nozzle, period. 65% healing on damage per pellet is completely overpowered a single shot will heal you from 1% to the equivalent of 3,000% you overheel yourself you just get so much health back that it's ridiculous because the highest health character you can have is a Salvador built with full health health relic full build he has 1.8 million health op10 and you're doing about 300 million damage per bullet 65% of that is still over 150 million a single shot from even the weakest guns is going to keep you full healed and because of health gate you can't get one shot so with that gun I'm just about any character you're invincible until you reload but again on Salvador that's not an issue
@Rhyleigh Mackenzie true I tried playing today on my OP 10 Salvador and I just get one shot by everything I have a perfect Harold a grog nozzle I have a perfect antagonist and I still get one or two shot uvhm is just completely broken that's why on all new characters I make I refuse to do overpowered levels because they are completely useless
I'd add the Morningstar as it still has the glitch similar to the Evil Smasher, where you can get an insane crit damage boost to one tap literally anything with a crit spot.
I thought of the Interfacer but I'm not certain it's OP for anyone but Sal. Also Grog Nozzle was pretty OP heck most people playing OP levels relied on a Grog Nozzle.
The grog nozzle should’ve definitely been mentioned, because most of the OP legendaries in BL2 were even BETTER with the grog nozzle bc of the slag and the healing
The Plasma Coil reminds me of a dev weapon that used to exist in the original Borderlands, that shot black pearlescent orbs at a super fast rate, and could kill most anything.
I am kinda surprised that the hellwalker, at least in the honorable mention parts was not included. I mean, this shotgun, was sooooo good for so long, I mean seriously , if you got this shotgun early/mid game, it would carry you through most of the end game, and if not somewhat thru mayhem levels within reason(a level 23 hellwalker ain't going to carry you through mayhem 11 at level 35 or so, at least not efficiently). Yet again, there are a LOT of good guns throughout the borderlands games, so maybe I'm not that knowledgeable about what guns were that overpowered or not.
With the plasma coil you can get it at a level lower than 13 through the diamond loot room the fire selector name is “gun team plz fix name” or something like that i got it at level 10 on my first fl4k playthrough
I had a purple Combat Rifle that essentially an auto sniper with a 72 round clip. My character spec'd into recoil and fire rate. Good Scope, Super accurate mag dumps into weak spots from range. Picked it up early in BL1 playthrough and I had it till the end.
There was basic ass green rarity Atlas assault rifle in BL1 that carried me through the entire game, and the knoxx dlc. It had insane ammo capacity and great damage with decent fire rate. Just the perfect combination of stats to make for a fantastic gun. I was amazed how long it kept being good for something that wasn't even unique.
For my Moze build, i've found the best weapons are the unkempt harold, the flipper, faisor shotgun, sandhawk. I don't have access to the anything above DLC4.
i think IB wasnt scaled so in Mayhem anything could 1 shot him and he tickled even the weakest enemies, and this was before we got DLC 3 i believe (cant remember if it was before 2) but I know 3 gave us alot of goodies. BUt yeah, OPQ was the DPS and the 'Cake rolled with 300% x2 was a boss deleter lol. now that gun just hogs ammo and isnt worth it, but the OPQ is still a good one. Backburner has been around since Base game though, just really low drop rate
@@LordZeroTheNightmare It's annoying that each character doesn't get their own drop for it or the back burner wouldn't be too bad farming from agonizer. True trials it drops a lot but that's longer farming
Absolutely! They really broke the game and GB had to work a lot to rebalance things. I feel like they should've been included, at least honourable mention
I really really wish more from TPS was bringed back to BL3(like The Machine and Excalibastard(that one specific would be an amazing cryo melee weapon)), hoping Wonderlands bring some back! 😀 And plz, balance them, don't just throw power crap items in the game...
Excalibastard was such a fun gun. Melee and novas with lasers as well? Wouldn't be surprised if they bought it back for wonderlands because it fits the theme perfectly
Oh man the days of the Evil Smasher glitch. Late 2012/early 2013. Helped me get thru the first DLC and get all achievements for BL2 at the time on Xbox 360.
I found a purple anarchy 4x in b1 at lvl 16 ish. I could use it the entire game and still kill enemies at a pretty ok speed at lvl 56. It still surprises me that a gun 40 levels down still mows enemies down pretty quickly!
Would've put the unkept herald akimbo as an honorable mention, since it's not technically the weapon itself but the weapon together with a certain class
When Moxsy said he preferred to use 300/90 anoint on his Plasma Coil, I knew something was wrong Also, you talked about how good the Pimpernel is under NORMAL circumstances. You didn't even mention its insane skill interactions.
Perma-sharp Baby Maker was a great weapon that did insane damage if threw at an enemy upon reloading it. Melted certain bosses whilst you were underleveled in BL2.
Borderlands 1: Unforgiven Masher Borderlands 2: Norfleet Borderlands TPS: One Shot Canon Borderlands 3: Plasma Coil These are my personal favorite powerful weapons.
Shoutout to any x5 or higher revolver in Bl1 easily the most devistating weapons in the game, super accurate and could easily carry 10 levels above if you can land crits.
Got really lucky on your stream the other day, 9-10 wins and the Plasma Coil was the first...they all went to my PC shift account where my highest lvl character is lvl 15 Moze....guess I need to get the 'directors cut' to use a couple of the items.
The butcher is the most broken for me a shotgun that have insane fire rate like a minigun with the secret ability to recharge ammo depending on you fire rate so basically infinite ammo and infinite magazine capacity just insane man
I still remember in borderlands 1 how if you got your hands on a hellfire SMG you basically won the game. As the fire proc chance was so high and the damage over time was so high that just about any enemy could be melted even if they had fire resistance, Just from the amount of damage alone.
Other Honorable Mentions: OPQ System, Yellowcake, Boogeyman, Sandhawk, Peak Opener, Hellwalker, Fibber, Lady Fist, Orphan Maker, Fastball (do grenade mods count as weapons?), Grog Nozzle, and my personal favorite, Salvador

The early days of BL2. What a time to be alive. Some of the finest gaming me and the boys have ever done.
My favorite is the Casual Swordsplosion from TTAODK. That thing demolishes. And the arc on the blades makes it fun to use.
Scrolled this far down to find the Swordsplosion.
Dual wield on Salvador ❤️
I think the Lightshow should be on here, or at least in the honorable me mentions. That thing is a beast!
most of these I only toyed around with but yeah, they're ridiculous! I have to say that there were 4 that I was kinda surprised weren't on the list (but that could just be me) the Hellfire and Defiler from BL1 and TK's Wave/ hellwalker from BL3.
Hellwalker shotgun couldn't be more dope. 7 string sfx is so heavy. Damage is insane & its fire element. You kidding me? Instant classic for me. 👌
The Yellowcake and the originally buffed Lob were also insane, and would just melt bosses
the current lob is still in a playable category at least, i wouldnt waste my rockets trying to run yellowcake now, but the lob can still be fun for mobbing and will work on bosses you can get close enough to with it. its right there for me with roisen's thorns for being a currently non meta but still fun and good gun to use.
Longbow Bonus Package with a 0.1 fuse time is a mass murderer of a Unique Legendary.
Conference Call was my first experience with a truly op weapon. Loved it for soooo long.
Solid list. In addition
BL1 Hellfire.BL2 Grognozzle. BL3 Flipper
Right. Addicted to ease of Plaguebearer+Guardian Angel
Another good honorable mention would've been the Flakker/Torgue Launcher combo in BL2. Absolutely shredded as long as enemies didn't resist explosive damage👍
Im gonna go with Pestilent Defilier, Borderlands 1. Or Chimiera. both revolvers are absolutely ridiculous.
As an honorable mention, the back burner because you can knock down your own teammates and Essential AI.
A very good group. (and thank you for spotlighting my favourite!)
Thats what I said, grog is a gun that always takes a spot no matter what so how is it not on the list over a shitty bl3 sniper?
@Rhyleigh Mackenzie true I tried playing today on my OP 10 Salvador and I just get one shot by everything I have a perfect Harold a grog nozzle I have a perfect antagonist and I still get one or two shot uvhm is just completely broken that's why on all new characters I make I refuse to do overpowered levels because they are completely useless
@@theshadowking9626 what game are you playing bro??? Run a rough rider if ur running sal with harold and use sheriffs badge 🤣
@@jemgg your crazy if think groz is an option
@@theshadowking9626 i ran through an op10 run with an underleveled dpuh and grog. Idk what op10 you’re playing bro i think you’re on op20 or something
The Invisible Shotgun from BL1 was the source of a lot of good times back in the day.
Sandhawk from BL2 and the Casual Swordsplosion both are deserving of this list.
The grog nozzle should’ve definitely been mentioned, because most of the OP legendaries in BL2 were even BETTER with the grog nozzle bc of the slag and the healing
Not to mention the drunk effect
Im surprise SMG Sand hawk wasnt mentioned.
It’s weak sauce without the Bee
@@Ki11ersix hm, all weapons like a crit sauce without the bee => only norfleet good weapon to borderlands2?
@@Ki11ersix i mean kinda but its still pretty powerful without it.
Pestilent Defiler from og borderlands. If their head didn't explode from the first shot, the dot damage will do them in
Defiler! I couldn't remember the gun's name (and didn't want to look it up). Excellent gun from BL1 & ridiculously OP.
Sandhawk bee combo needs a spot! Will always be my favorite borderlands combo. Even without the bee its a monster
Good to see the Pre Sequel getting some love.
SICKEST OUTRO EVER
The Gub is the real number 1 most OP weapon we all know it.
When the OPQ/Yellowcake first were introduced, they were practically the only viable weapons in the game.
i think IB wasnt scaled so in Mayhem anything could 1 shot him and he tickled even the weakest enemies, and this was before we got DLC 3 i believe (cant remember if it was before 2) but I know 3 gave us alot of goodies.
Was hoping to see Pestilent Defiler from BL1, but great video!
Yeah, I was there for the Conference Call + Bee combo. Good times.
I remember first planning bl1 and getting the anarchy and was just blown away by it not we have the flipper which is awsome
though it's not a weapon I think the fastball deserves an honorable mention as it would quite literally one shot nearly any enemy in bl2
Lucky 7 should've been a honorable mention, that thing is an absolute life bar melter
Its only drawback is (ironically) the casino roll gimmick
I really really wish more from TPS was bringed back to BL3(like The Machine and Excalibastard(that one specific would be an amazing cryo melee weapon)), hoping Wonderlands bring some back! 😀
And plz, balance them, don't just throw power crap items in the game...
Excalibastard was such a fun gun. Melee and novas with lasers as well? Wouldn't be surprised if they bought it back for wonderlands because it fits the theme perfectly
I still would love to see the boomacorn making it back to borderlands 3. Is it a good gun? No but its very unitque and fun shotgun to use
The Bee and Conference Call, oh man that takes me back.
It still surprises me that a gun 40 levels down still mows enemies down pretty quickly!
hopefully wonderlands has some amazing legendaries, especcially assault rifles
Imagine the hellwalker in bl 1 or 2. It would feel like a modded weapon
Would've put the unkept herald akimbo as an honorable mention, since it's not technically the weapon itself but the weapon together with a certain class
When Moxsy said he preferred to use 300/90 anoint on his Plasma Coil, I knew something was wrong
Also, you talked about how good the Pimpernel is under NORMAL circumstances. You didn't even mention its insane skill interactions.
Perma-sharp Baby Maker was a great weapon that did insane damage if threw at an enemy upon reloading it. Melted certain bosses whilst you were underleveled in BL2.
Perma sharp is one of the worst versions of the baby maker tho just FYI. Refill probably the best
The Machine is the strongest weapon in the entire pre-sequel there's no question about it... totally broken...
I know it's not the strongest but the law and that other shield is just a combo I love
Borderlands 1: Unforgiven Masher
Borderlands 2: Norfleet
Borderlands TPS: One Shot Canon
Borderlands 3: Plasma Coil
These are my personal favorite powerful weapons.
I have a level 9 DPUH that i just use every time to run through normal mode super fast
The Plasma Coil is easily my favorite. It's just too good. I've never felt as overpowered as I do with it.
I love the machine with athena, high fire and high chance not to consume ammo, chefs kiss
The machine was beautiful 🤩
Shoutout to any x5 or higher revolver in Bl1 easily the most devistating weapons in the game, super accurate and could easily carry 10 levels above if you can land crits.
My Siren in BL1 had a 72 bullets per second build with Anarchy.
The hellwalker with zane's maxed out clone is several forces to be recond with.
Got really lucky on your stream the other day, 9-10 wins and the Plasma Coil was the first...they all went to my PC shift account where my highest lvl character is lvl 15 Moze....guess I need to get the 'directors cut' to use a couple of the items.
The butcher is the most broken for me a shotgun that have insane fire rate like a minigun with the secret ability to recharge ammo depending on you fire rate so basically infinite ammo and infinite magazine capacity just insane man
Siting in pyro Pete’s bar with 2 norflets a sham was the most fun way quickly level
I still remember in borderlands 1 how if you got your hands on a hellfire SMG you basically won the game. As the fire proc chance was so high and the damage over time was so high that just about any enemy could be melted even if they had fire resistance, Just from the amount of damage alone.
Yeah Hellfire hard carried me through the Underdome
Other Honorable Mentions: OPQ System, Yellowcake, Boogeyman, Sandhawk, Peak Opener, Hellwalker, Fibber, Lady Fist, Orphan Maker, Fastball (do grenade mods count as weapons?), Grog Nozzle, and my personal favorite, Salvador
Pre nerf Ion Cannon from Handsome Jackpot is worth remembering imo. That thing was so busted people weren't using anything else.
I remember getting my first plasma coil in bl3 and I went from not being able to handle mayhem 1 (very unoptimized build without roll farming yet) to making mayhem 4 a breeze it was insane
K11ler is officially goated just hearted a comment on a year old video all love if you see this one ❤️🙌
