    She's going to be screaming with that set up my friend I'm going to say 103 first time out. She's looking good.

    Just a suggestion on grinding the plastic trays.Use your coarse 1/2” sanding tubes for the Dremel and you can sit it flat on the tray and sand off level,with less chance of slipping in the tray👍

      Nice!.. thanks for the great advice. That’s actually a great idea because sometimes I do have a hard time keeping them in place after a bad crash but they do pretty good for the most part.

    Howdy Gen 1, how did you hook up the dual servo leads? I believe that 1 positive lead should be pulled out of the connectors and shrink wrapped so that only one esc is powering the receiver.

    Good tip. What are the specs of the motor?

    Great how-to video Gen 1. Do you have the power cuts under control on your Zonda? Do smaller size props help?

    • @gen1power102
      @gen1power102  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Turned off lvc, and it helped a lot I just ease into the throttle with bigger props.

    Howdy Gen 1, I was watching your Geico ESC video and it looks like you have a heck of a lot of negative strut angle in the boat. What is working for you?

    • @gen1power102
      @gen1power102  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. I change it depending on the water conditions.

      @@gen1power102 I am having porpoising with my MG36. I run the 4x3S battery layout. I have a 2.5 mm gap at the end of the strut. Props are 1716. Do you have any suggestions?

    • @gen1power102
      @gen1power102  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@christophercurry7410 the geico is a very tricky boat to tune. Sometimes my Geico would porpoise until I hit it full throttle. If I were you I would set the strut at 2mm and start there.

    Dear Gen 1, have you experienced any damage to the gel coat of your Miss Geico due to a flip, or does the inlay prevent that from happening?

    • @gen1power102
      @gen1power102  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes there’s plenty damage but the inlay keeps from breaking all the way through.

    That should be a 100 mph easy,with stock geico props👍Inlay looks amazing and lots of work,did my MG29 a few years back and boat is still going after numerous flips.My MG36 is still stock with props and PB is 98mph.I did do pour foam in front and on seams for rigidity👍

      The geico came with a y harness so I just plugged them right in.

    • @christophercurry7410
      @christophercurry7410 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gen1power102 Yeah you are absolutely correct. I just looked at mine closely. The one harness is where they delete the one positive lead to the receiver. Just like on the Zonda 👍. It looks like you have a lot of negative angle in your struts, is that the case?

    • @christophercurry7410
      @christophercurry7410 ปีที่แล้ว

      I got an MG36 back in June, and ZONDA V2 just a few weeks ago, but I am recovering from foot problem that has had me hobbled up for weeks, so all I could really do was mess around with them. I am itching to get running in another week or two.

  • @SnapperHeadUnlimited
    @SnapperHeadUnlimited ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Get stump fab coolers for those 150’s and it will make the foot print a little smaller and it has a single inlet/outlet for cooling.
