Must be that time of year, welcome back hope to see some killer speeds this year!
Yes sir. Thanks!
Awsome! Great to see you back on the water!
Appreciate that bro!
man that thing is awesome, cool speed run
Thanks Duke!
Good to see you back fam 💪🏾💯
Appreciate that Big Bro! It's that time of the year again. 👊👊👊👊
Awesome 👍
Finally! Been waiting for a new video for a good while! Been 6 month since your last video. lol 😇
The park close to home closes for winter and the this lake is hard to catch good water at in the winter. Thanks Bro!
Everyone has a Buddy with a boat like that one but not as fast and setup for fishing. 🤣 LOL I hear that every time I run my boat.
🤣🤣 Ikr! Thanks for watching!
That sound alone get the blood going 🤘
Bummer you need near perfect conditions if you don't want to turn it into an rc plane.
I love the sound of the twins running.
I wish Horizon Hobby would make a V3 of this boat :/
I just want them to make one that doesn't split so damn easy..💯
@MrMad2424 Hey! I sadly missed getting this boat in the UK. It's been discontinued and I can't find them anywhere. I was too late. Luckily I got the next best thing, a Veles 29 instead. Do you know if I can get an official dual pickup rudder for the Veles ? Also would you recommend better aftermarket flex shaft ?
Do you recommend a rigid or flexible pour foam for the nose/seams? Would you epoxy seams and pour foam?
Epoxy and fiberglass chips in tih sponson tips and across the bridge. I did put a little epoxy in the seams but not much. I wanted to stay as light as possible.
This is the foam i used. www.amazon.com/TotalBoat-Urethane-Density-Flotation-Insulation/dp/B01AAP3GVE/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=1GB5MOFQE5JJ0&keywords=total%2Bboat%2Bpour%2Bfoam&qid=1705720485&sprefix=total%2Bboat%2Bpour%2Bfoam%2Caps%2C104&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1
Mark, do you recommend removing all of the battery tray mounting tabs on the Zonda and re-epoxying?
Zonda or Zelos? I just add jb weld to the trays on the zonda. I don't pull them off just add more where you can for security.
@@MrMad2424 Zonda! Thanks. I had one tray come loose and now the other. JB’ed the 1st one but didn’t pull all of the tabs. I just reattached it as it was.
What is that retrieval boat. I have the tug but am getting an itch for slower boats also
Rescue 17 from aquacraft. It's been discontinued a few years.
I have same boat with Dasbota props…running 2-6S and it runs wet as a mutha! Can’t get this thing over 60mph on glass water.😢
Move the cg back and raise the struts up a couple of mm.
I have a Miss Gieco also! What battery and prop set up you have to go that fast !?
dasboata super geico props. Best to email him at dasboata@aol.com and 4-3s lipos
Is that better than two 6s ?
@@1Gabrieldiaz for balance yes.
For top speed ?
Did you have the sponsons blueprinted?
No nothing at all to the bottom has been done. I only put some pour foam along the seams for added strength and that's all.
@MrMad2424 I read some of your post on ose forums, do all I need to truly do is get the super geico props? Do I also need to mess with timing and strut angle?
Any idea what the actual size is on the props?
around 45mm
I have this boat with Chris props, but it never hit the water, just for display in the man cave
It's a gorgeous boat for sure.
I just lost my RH Super Geico prop in a local lake.
And its $75 to replace 1. 🤦♂️
FML.
Crazy question just bought mine yesterday and my right side shaft unwound by the collet so i replaced today and still seems to bot he as free as the right side. Do i need new teflon liners?
I doubt it. Just make sure the motors are aligned perfectly and the Teflon liners will break in .
@MrMad2424 thank you I appreciate your time!! I'm a big fan!!
@@never-stock-rc2968 No problem... Make sure you have the shafts in the correct side as well.
@MrMad2424 yes if you have them out side by side the "V" should be up. Or strands
@@never-stock-rc2968 correct if you are running the motors in the stock config with them tuning inward.
How do you like this boat compared to the 42 Blackjack man?
This boat is much better than the 42.
@@MrMad2424 THANK YOU
:)
What is it dasbota props???
