Great job, definitely not officially the fastest on the planet,, BIG B HAS been 119 on camera, my animal all stock electronics, 126 no flips and 132 no flip but then it ended up on shore,(definitely not official, that’s a whole Nother hobby for me the TH-cam stuff maybe someday) great job. It’s hard to keep those boats on the water at that speed.

Looks like a great running boat. 8S, 200A ESC’s, 4082 2200KV motors and RTR. Gen 1 can now take credit for still being 5 mph slower than Mr Mad & Secret Squirrel ran 3 yrs ago with RTR $650 Zonda’s that had 6S, 120A ESC’s, and 3674 2075KV motors.😂

Almost to your goal. Water conditions are all you need.

Close but still far away... But no doubt you will get there. Just other prop probably would do it. Never see you bother about temps etc, so assume your still golden with the sss power plant ... 😄

Holy Smokes! 129 mph on 6s, you are doing everything right! I'd be curious to know the CG location expressed as a percentage forward from the transom. Also, the angle of the stingers in degrees. I'm running my Animal at 40% CG, stingers at negative 2.8 degrees. Props are ABC 1817-17-45. The rake angle is another critical part of a setup. Narrower thrust cone, runs looser in the front. It's a balance of those settings. And that has to match up to the power being output. Other words, same loose-ish setup can blow off with better lipos. On my Zippkits JAE 33, had to tighten up the setup with SMC lipos. Anyway, be real interesting to hear if you're doing anything way different to run that fast...

I know Bill catches a lot of flak but he’s been straight up with me. I bought an Animal Cat from him that’s been awesome. I’ve had no issues with it at all. I got the 1650kv version so it’s probably not as fast as some but i can run multiple packs back to back & the motors/escs barely get over 100deg.

To everyone involved in the Zonda versus Animal competitions it's one thing to be going after straight line speed. I give everyone accolades for pushing these boats as fast as they can go, but whatever happened to the head-to-head competition around buoys where you actually have to turn left and right. I got a sneaking suspicion that no matter how fast your boats are that someone with a slower boat and more competitive acumen is able to outdo you in a race. I'd like to see the Animal and the Zonda compete in 6 to 7 in chop with the three buoy course or even the four buoy course which incorporates one left hand turn. I got a sneaking suspicion that we're going to see an entirely different outcome. It's funny because these are all called offshore racing boats yet nobody is doing anything offshore.like. I bet I can take my old Super Hawaii running 2 550 motors to a single inboard -outboard drive and put that up against your Zonda with everything you've got out on choppy salt water where you never get a full trigger pull, and your boat is in the air more than it is in the water. The ability to actually throttle a boat is in it's own moreso impressive than just full trigger pulls. I'm not knocking any of the full trigger full pull guys. I love watching boats go for speed records there's nothing cooler than that. The science behind keeping that boat teetering on the buoyancy and center of gravity points is beautiful and brings a smile to my face every time I see it happen. But can we get back to some real offshore racing. Jump Jump Jump!

Wow, Great! Congratulations Gen 🎉😊🚀 In my German Speed Board Chat, many people say that the CNHL with the green Label on it, are not good. The white with pink label and the black Lipo‘s are the better ones they say. But you have great results. 😊👍🏻 Don’t forget to try the channel mixing on your radio to throw the Y-wire out. It’s easy, you can use the same mixing like crawler drivers use for dual axle steering. It’s pre settet in the radio’s. But you have to know that esc‘s don’t like it when both esc‘s has all 3 wires in the reciver. You have to pull out the red wire out of one plug from one esc. So only one bec gives the power for servo and reciver. When you don’t do it, the two bec‘s can kill each other and the whole speed controllers can die from it. Mabe your issues are not from the Y-wire only. Mabe from that dual bec on reciver it can come too if you had it like that. Many boat people use an smal extra 2s reciver battery and pull out both red wires from the esc reciver plug. So the main battery’s are more balanced in discharging and both esc‘s are cooler, because of the fact that the bec‘s has no work load on it. It can give a little more performance in the end and cooler temperatures. But for this extra reciver battery, you need a reciver and servo that can handle the 8,4V , HV High Voltage is the Keyword for it. This is the best way overall. Or put an external bec between the reciver battery and the reciver, that you can set on 6V and then you don’t need HV able servo and reciver. I hope that helps you and other people here. You always show fantastic runs, congrats to all your efforts🚀 Everything above 200 kph with 1 metre size boats is great achievements. Aerodynamics show such a big influence at those speeds. My actual PB is 188kph with SSS motors, on the way I learned to accept those blow overs - its part of this business 😊 What TP motor are you running?
