- how to bind your Axial RBX10 RYFT and problems i have experienced with my RYFT on my second run the wheels would stay all the way to the right and came unbound ti the radio i have rebound mine several times and the problem continues i will be contacting axial and keeping everyone updated thank you to all my subscribers for your support filmed with my Samsung galaxy s9 and edited with powerdirctor pro

Omg thanks so much for this video. A friend just gave me a ryft today without a radio but I happen to have a dx3 without a vehicle so I needed to figure out how to bind them. This video helped

If you go through the bottom of the RYFT, it’s about 8 screws to the receiver. Thanks for the binding help!!

Glad to see you got it up and running again ! Some say to disarm the AVC and it will illuminate the bind issue but I would rather have it to help with the speed when bouncing over a rock ! Great video brother !
I had ro disarm the avc and my servo saver was cracked but its up and running again fir now they definitely should have done a bit better quality control for the price

OMG... All of that for binding I am getting my Ryft in a few days and I have to do all that? Crazy they could have made it more accessible for us end users... GIZZZ talk about a operation to BIND !!

Yeah you shouldn’t have to have that problem with new product thank they're having radio problems anyway I don't jump out and just say stuff but I have seen several different occasions where there has been range issues and other troubles etc. keep us posted what you find out thanks for sharing 👍

The best way to bind your spectrum radio gear is to switch to flysky, lol! Im sure this video you made will help some people.
Haha that has definitely been something i have done before
I have heard in different video to make sure the controller is at least
(6 feet) away [to BIND successfully].
Maybe that is JUST FOR DX5C and SR6100AT (Receiver) but do your own research or contact HORIZON.

O poop! This ones just as bad as my twin hammers with all that stuff needed to take apart to get to the inside! Nice bind demo though.👍

This is how I fixed mine. Keeps happening!!
& you turn break rate down & it has no reverse. Turn it up and the reverse works & it’s crazy violent! I turn the av knob down & the ryft creeps

That is one reason I plan on moving my receiver to the fuel cell box .I may add weight to the receiver box .

If you change the power percentage while its running it stuffs up your bind. Thats why you have to rebind it again.

there is a way to remove the receiver box without having to remove the whole cage ext. the back two screws on the battery tray and then 5 on the bottom of the chassis, i was able to slide it out without needing to take the whole thing apart to rebind. My ryft needed to be bound right out of the box lol also ditched the stock dx3 for my dx5 and got rid of the stupid avc.
Nice i don't care for the avc myself i am thinking of modifying mine to get it ti it from the top
The New 2021 RYFT comes with a discontinued Radio, for $200 you can upgrade to a radio that lets you access all that "SMART teck"

No unfortunately you will have to by a futaba reciver if you want to use the futaba radio
hey. I know it is a "old" video. But i am about to upgrade my ryft totally. Should i use my Radiolink rc8x transmitter and receiver in stead of the orginal? Becouse mine car comes in the mail and was binded. But now i must bind it again without know why i most do it.😀 Thanks for the video!
I am still using the original radio I found out that if you Power it on on a flat surface it stays bound but if it's not flat it has a chance of losing bind so far its been working good still drive mine often

Yes it would but you would have to use servo wire extensions and the fuel cell is not water proof unfortunately

Yeah it was really frustrating glad I got it working really been having fun with it lately
I forgot to take off the wheels first and basically threw everything off my table lol when it jumped forward
Lol had the same thing happen at the hobby store when they powered it up to test the electronics
I can't get my throttle to work, it "decided" to work and back flipped off the wall and went back to not working

No should be bound by the factory
Don't take the body off. Take the box out of the rig instead
I had nothing but bad luck out of my RYFT pos!!!
I had the same thing till I replaced all the weak spots i love it now
Flip it over and remove the box.

Yeah the ryft is always doing something lol I blew up the center diff on vacation couple weeks ago
I just plugged mine in & drove it broke a rear axle yesterday

That was complex, bind and calibrate every time.
It is i wish it was just a basic receiver i don't need all that avc assistance
I know Horizon won't be happy about this post But, the entire Spektrum systems days are numbered in my RYFT. Not impressed at all.
Once I can Drive it again I'll try to dial the ESC in and give my mods a run, but that might be just wishful thinking. On hold til parts arrive to contemplate the infinite maybe.

@@AdventureTimeRC I binded it again and left avc to 0% and so far (3 packs later) it's kept the bind. I am using skeptrum smart batteries and my dx3 doesn't show battery levels. It did the first time tho.
