    I went with beef tubes, vitavon sway bar and trailing arms, a reefs raw 500, and the 2 speed and have very few issues. A broken rod end every so often.

    Just installed the Treal front and back sway bars, what a world of difference. Thing stays planted and just hauls. Must have mod for sure.

    Great job! I like how the Ryft just jumps over anything in it's way. Awesome RC my friend. 👍🏆

    I highly recommend the treal links. I have top and bottom in the front and top in the rear. They look really good and they haven’t let me down yet.

    The ride along was a hoot! I can watch the Ryft all day long as an owner. Takes skill to drive it without rolling, but I honed my chops on a standard MAXX. I only roll it about every other lap now

    It's just like I've always said ,,,,, axial is made of self breaking material. That being said , I had to have a RYFT , just cuz of the looks , and just llike I said , everything !!!!! Has broken , I now call it the vitaryft , VITAVON , end to end , and now it's a awesomely tough truck , with us sticky tires , that thing will go anywhere , also the straight rod ends are a better lasting thing also

    I like the Spektrum smart batteries myself. There are many people who have issues, i have not. I currently have 5 Smart batteries and havent had an issue with any of them. On a side note, the only batteries i ever had an issue with was the Power Hobby 3s 100c 6000 mah. Ive got 19 batteries all together. Would have 20 but the one power hobby decided it wanted to give up. I do need more, a lot more in fact. Ive got 15 rcs and each rc has its own set of batteries in most cases. Whether it be because of voltage, run time, weight, or the plug required. I dont run one type of battery plug as ive got every type of charge lead. The only battery type i do avoid is the Deans (T plug) type as they arent rated for 3s or higher as used in 80% of my rcs. I much rather have something rated for 120 amps when a battery can only deliver 45 amps. Becides that, above necessary delivery on amps when a ESC needs it from the battery.

    Great one. Just set your oils in the shocks to the right softness. It’s harder on the left side bud overall it’s to hard on the rear

    So far the ryft has been a tank with the vitavon skid, 2speedtrans, full links, vitavon wheels and the few body parts then treal axles with ssd guts and smaller tires. An a raw 500. Still looking for the purple treal sway bar

    Man this looks even more fun than before! Glad you got the trailing arms sorted, it gets pretty frustrating when a car can't make it a full battery pack. I've been working through option paralysis looking at RC crawlers lately. Some cool trucks available but I keep coming back around to the TRX4 Bronco for the durability, options, and parts support (and good looks haha)

    • @SebastianLong
      @SebastianLong 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I really like my TRX4 Bronco. Not sure which one you are talking about but i have the 79. Definitely a good platform. If you want a more scale appearance, then the TRX4 is probably not for you because of the portal axles, but if you want performance over realism, then you cant go wrong with the TRX4. The reality of it is the top manufacturers are really putting out some good crawlers. Axial, Traxxas, and even Redcat makes good products. If you are looking for more quality, but at a bigger price, there is always Vanquish. There is also 1/8 crawlers, and even a 1/6 scale. They ALL have cons, but the pros in all the products far outweigh the cons. My honest opinion, get them all. 😉

      @@SebastianLong Thank you! I've been a total sucker for the 2021 Bronco body in the orange. I was primarily looking for performance more than perfect scale accuracy. It'll be my first RC crawler (I have an actual Toyota crawler). The TRX4 is appealing for the selectable lockers and 2 speed transmission. I was looking hard at that Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix but Scale Builders and RC Review said it's not the most straight forward build. Always having the axles locked doesn't do great things for turning radius but it seems like maybe that isn't a thing to worry about. I do think I'll end up with more than one eventually. That little SCX24 has caught my eye too 😆. Crawling seems highly addictive because it's a fun challenge and you don't need the space that speedy non-crawlers need. You can use them in a backyard, on obstacles indoors, etc

    • @SebastianLong
      @SebastianLong 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Andy_Yates Definitely helps build skills. Ive got planes, boats, nitros, two strokes and electric RCs ranging from 1/10 scale all the way up to 1/5 scale and the crawler is probably my most used RC. I just take a pair of batteries and run it. Very seldom do the crawlers break unless you have a huge tumble down a hill. Ive have mine since the 79 Bronco was released and only stripped the plastic servo arm (the 2021 comes stock with a metal arm), broke an axle and killed all but one of the micro servos, and broke a front bumper mount twice. One thing i suggest above all else is make sure the bolts inside the center driveshafts are tight, lose one and it will make for a short day as well as losing other parts off the driveshaft. The second thing which i feel like is necessary is a metal front bumper mount as they break fairly easy. I myself have a Jeep Cherokee lifted 8 inches and is on 35's but can easily run 37's. So needless to say, i bought a couple Cherokee hardbodies off eBay, one 2 door and one 4 door as i had both styles my entire driving life.

      @@SebastianLong That's awesome! My Toyota is an '87 solid axle swap with 35s and retrofitted Tacoma elockers. I appreciate the input +advice and totally agree that kits really increase one's understanding of the vehicles. I'm thinking I'll go with the TRX4 and probably get something without portals down the road like an Axial or Vanquish kit. I should be looking for some Toyota hard bodies by the sounds of it 😁😁

      Is something binding? maybe you have something too tight? do you have bad bearings? Are you running stock electronics and gearing? are you running it through thick grass? There are a lot of things that could be causing it to overheat.
