Finally got my rift running again. Put a cheap white plastic traxxas servo saver on it and haven't had a problem since. Nice how to!

Hello good video.. I followed your video step by step, but the steering is reversed. The steering on the radio is ok (normal mode). Do you know what is the problem??
    Thanks!!

Hey buddy, thanks for tunning in. I had the same problem before when I was binding mine, until I disconnected everything and binded a few times. Alternatively, you can swap the full left and right steer order before you do the full throttle and full brake. It works the same, I have done that on my friends Ryft and it works perfectly fine. Hope this helps. 😊👍🏼

Hi Eton, thanks for watching the video. If you are using the radio controller (DX3) which came in the box then there's no need as it is already factory binded. You only need to bind it if you are changing the receiver, changing the radio controller or when it became unbinded. 😊👍🏼

Oh no, but it is a very easy fix, maybe it will take you ten minutes to realign them properly. I think Axial (Horizon) should ensure their products are properly setup before releasing. Need to provide better training to the assembly lines perhaps. Thank you for tunning in my friend, and sorry for my super belated response.

    rpm meter is wrong, 2200kv x 15V = 33000 max

Good point, I thought that was a bit too fast when I said it on the video, but didn't really look into it. I wonder if I can calibrate it from the DX5 Rugged.

I did everything right but I have no throttle

    • @jjshobbypower9091

That's strange, have you tried following the instruction on the Axial Ryft user manual? During the calibration, make sure you do this sequence correctly and hold each movement for at least 2 seconds - full throttle, full brake, full left, full right. After that, turn the car off, then the radio transmitter off. Now turn the transmitter on first, then the car, it should work. If doesn't then there might be an issue with your transmitter or the motor itself, might even be the receiver that's giving the problem.

I put my radio in the garbage right out of the box.

I presume you meant the radio that came with the Ryft? It is rather basic, only thing they have added is the battery indicator, but it restricts you to use their IC5 smart batteries, as standard EC5 plug battery wouldn't show the battery level on the radio. 🤔😊👍🏼

@@jjshobbypower9091 correct the RTR radio was junk

@@801rccrawlers2 honestly, the Ryft RTR radio is already a lot better than other's RTR radios.. at least the Spektrum radio steering wheel has foam on it and it is not made of cheap plastic. 😊👍🏼
