Another very careful winching operation undertaken with precise movements and professionalism well done steve from John and Nora here in kidlington in oxfordshire
6x36 Crane Cables ? Great Spec truck so many fur coat no nickers s trucks about good to see money spent where it needs spending , Thanks for sharing Steve
Think that's me watched all your videos now, and what a great channel Steve! You clearly are very good at your job, I know that isn't an easy job at all, but..... you make it look extremely easy! Was recovered a few months ago, I had a Scania with an electric handbrake, and he rear lifted it. Tool him a wee while to switch off the handbrake, as it comes on when the door is opened, and possibly the minute the engine is switched off. All these things to consider doing your line of work! Keep up the videos! Love them!
Hi Steve, it seems to be the season for HGVS to go off road, at least you didn't have a ditch this time!! OK with the cable they can be deadly but I don't need to tell you that. Excellent video Steve take care mate. Gary.
Thanks for watching , the truck runs crane cables which our 33t on single line, but you would work to the SWL not max load so you should never snap one , just add snatch blocks to rigging to half the load.
Hi Jozua by using a snatch block we double the pulling capacity of the winch one a single line and by having the cable doubled this halfs the load on each cable so keeping with SWL of cables breaking point.
Thanks for watching , you will need a hgv class 1 licence and bit of mechanical knowledge and give you local recovery a call. There's a shortage of heavy drivers so hopefully they will take you out for a day and see if the jobs for you and go from there mate.
Sir is it me or do you have a new main panel for operating the system on your truck it's been awhile since I've checked out your you tube channel thanks and could you please confirm it or explain the update to your truck
Hi Reg its a newer Daf truck i am driving now mate , different body and recovery equipment but looks similar with company logo. Did do a quick tour of truck on channel.
Bin lorry driver was unlucky there. That was an old water channel within the woodland that was buried when the road and home were built and landscaped.
HI saw you I London today first time ever going there and saw you working on a bus didn't know it was you until know looking at the registration plate I was the one that kept looking back to see if it was you or not So can you stick that video on YT pls

Thanks very much for watching , Cheers Bailey.
If i was learning the game you'd be a great sensei
Thanks for watching , Cheers.
Always amazes me how a thin steel cable can pull such a lot of weight.
Thanks for watching , the truck runs crane cables which our 33t on single line, but you would work to the SWL not max load so you should never snap one , just add snatch blocks to rigging to half the load.
What does 2 to 1 pull mean?
Hi Jozua by using a snatch block we double the pulling capacity of the winch one a single line and by having the cable doubled this halfs the load on each cable so keeping with SWL of cables breaking point.
We're in bucks was you close to the bass I hope keep up the good work mate ☘️🤓👍
Hi Nigel thanks for watching.
Hi i all ways like ur video
Hi Wendy thanks for watching again.
Hello I drove past you today on the m1 watford junction 👋🏿👋🏿 have you got one recovery lorry only
Is this barchester I have done work there 😀
Thanks for watching , not me today on m1 , company runs 3 Daf XF's.
Nice easy one for you Steve. If only he had bin more careful 😕
Thanks for watching Colin , Cheers.
Ha I use to deliver there 2 years ago or so.
Hi Leah thanks for watching , glad you recognised place.
What the best was to get into this line of work??
Typical Council worker sat in the cab letting you do all the work Steve 🤣🤣😂😂
Thanks for watching , kept driver in the cab so he can steer and brake when required and safer he out the way of the winch cables.
Nice little job Steve, how much would that sort of recovery cost?
Thanks for watching Gary , dont get involved with pricing mate.
I wasn't even this early to my own birth.
How...? You know what ima not question it
least it wasnt up to its axles in a stinky landfill
Thanks for watching Stu , only mud mate.
Bin lorry driver was unlucky there. That was an old water channel within the woodland that was buried when the road and home were built and landscaped.
Thanks for watching Jack , and sharing your knowledge of area.
You still show the traffic on the wrong side of the road in the opening sequence ,but otherwise another easy pull and very quickly done .
Thanks for watching Robert , got to update that with new intro.
Intro looks fine from here in the US! 😉
HI saw you I London today first time ever going there and saw you working on a bus didn't know it was you until know looking at the registration plate
I was the one that kept looking back to see if it was you or not
So can you stick that video on YT pls
Forgot to put I'm 15 and like watching your videos
Also if you recorded it pls pls pls post it cheers
Thanks for watching video , yes was me loading the Bus up , not able to film it too much of the company details block out mate.
I'm surprised the garbage truck driver stays in the cab while you remove the mud. he could have done that himself.
Thanks for watching , safer for the driver to remain in cab , so he can brake and steer if required and keep away from the winch lines.
I recognise that location 🤣.
Thanks for watching again Chris , Cheers.
Chris ? 😂
Sorry mate computer crashed , got someone else reply mate.
I used to drive one of those, honestly it would've been better to bury it, bloody awful trucks.
Hi Domingo thanks for watching .
