Just fantastic as always. That touch of Osage Orange is the pearl that enriches the work and that I have seen used in your other beautiful works.
I am very fascinated by that essence of Osage Orange wood which unfortunately cannot be found in Italy.

Hello, you do some pretty amazing work - thanks for sharing it through your channel. It looks like you have a Stepcraft Q series CNC - did you have any issues with getting it squared up? I've recently received a Q404 and I cannot get this thing to square up for anything. I've done extensive testing and sent the results to Stepcraft, and they are looking into this, but thus far no solutions. Just curious what experience you've had. Thank you for your time.

  • @johnnyho900

Great one, thank you for sharing. Just curious, why do you use what looks to be a 1/4 up cut when removing the excess material from the inserts? What not a larger fly cut? Thank again!

While being fun to watch and a marvel of CNC tech, my heart bleeds for the loss of the inlayer as a craftsman who could do this and more with hand tools, a generation passes and all the skills are lost to the machine and the need for speed.

In my opinion? The video would have been better represented with out the music, on repeat.
The "wood cutting" sound process sounded much better represented and as ASMR. And whatever background noise was happening, in that workshop.

It's a beautiful board, but it's made by a computer driven machine. No craftsmanship skills needed
