My first born will be 3 months tomorrow!! I'm so excited watching him hit all these milestones that I didn't even know were milestones until now! I'm a first time mommy and never been around babies really so I'm really doing my best. Sometimes I feel like I'm failing, but watching this video let me know I'm not doing so bad. So thank you! 💝
Our little nugget will be 3 months old in a few days and she’s doing all of the these things. She is my 3rd and it never gets old watching them grow. 💕
Your baby is Adorable!!! My 3 month old needs a bit more work with tummy time but he is definitely smiling/cooing and discovering his little hands which are now always in his mouth! Great video. Thanks!
Omg the hands in the mouth for real! Did you just let them put their sleeve and hands in their mouth or did you find a way to prevent it?? Her mittens and sleeves are always wet
My husband and his brother were talking back and forth in a calm yet loud debate. My child not being too effected by loud noises, doesn’t cry, but begins to start babbling as well. Almost as if they wanted to be apart of the conversation too. I’ve noticed that they’ll start talking whenever my husband and I are watching stuff like game grumps or other loud TH-camrs. Babies are a lovely little mystery ❤
Thank you so much! We were pregnant at the same time and your baby is just ahead of mine in age so this is so perfect and reassuring for me. My baby is 11 weeks old and her FM skills aren’t there yet but from one day to the next her head control in prone is amazing and she is starting to roll. That makes me super happy. Thanks a million from a fellow OT mom.
My baby just turned 2 months old (was 2 weeks early so technically 6 weeks old now) He's been practising tummy time most days since he was born because our nurses told us so. I can see he's able to hold his head up for longer each week-today was 4 mins. He's also started to talk back (with sounds) and giggles and makes lots of sounds whilst maintaining eye contact with the person holding him looking at the mobile hanging from the ceiling. He doesn't yet unclasp his hands much except when he's on his tummy.
OMG, I'm so Glad I found this Channel... I have an app, a few books, the internet, other channels... but I found this format is convenient, simple to learn. Well, the point is: Thank you! 😊
Thank you for the information. Would this be relevant for premature babies? My son is 14 weeks actual and 5 weeks corrected. He was born 10 weeks early. So he is 3.5 months actual but 5.5 weeks corrected. Can you do content on premature development or do you know any resources for that?
I have a close friend and her kid was also born 10 weeks early. Look at the milestones for the corrected age. After your kiddo has 12 months the milestones with the corrected age and actual age should align.
This video is so helpful! Truthfully, I have a hard time interpreting some of the milestones that I see written down because I can't quite picture it (also sleep deprivation 😂) so this was excellent! Also, knowing why rolling or prepping for rolling comes about at this age is such a neat insight I haven't seen elsewhere!
Our 3 month old (14 weeks) still keeps her hands in fists a majority of the time...she will grasp at her blankets and toys near her, but otherwise will keep them closed. Wanted to know if we should be concerned by this...
Thank you for providing This valuable information :-) my kids are grown but this is helpful for new parents and anyone interested in child development :-)
My baby was holding his head up and cooing and laughing at 2 months and he just turned 3 months yesterday June 9th 2022 was when he was born and my baby was rounding on his side when he was 1 week old or less
My little angel is 3 months 10 days now. She's doing all these but my in laws are saying she needs to sit by now. She's going to have delayed walking if she doesn't sit by Oct☺️ They are Congolese
My daughter turns 3 months in just a few days and my husband is terrified of her developing the habit of sucking her thumb and not being able to break the habit when she’s older, so he insists we pull her hands from her mouth anytime she sucks on them. Do you have any thoughts on this?
Any tips if baby doesn't seem to like daddy? I just started back to work 2 weeks ago and baby does nothing but cry after I leave. Hes fine when he's with Nana but when he's with daddy he just crys... baby is 3 months (15 weeks) old.
My baby does quite a few of these. She started around 2 Month s she's 2 1/2 months and has started teething she talks a lot now agoooo agoooo she rolls and kinda smooches herself backwards on her tummy. Her sister (now 7 yo) didn't do all this that early. Babies really do develope at different paces.
My baby is 2 months she will be three on the 28. She’s trying to roll over and does this screeching when shes not done breastfeeding and I’m switching sides 😂 no giggling yet.
I know you are saying every baby learns at their own rate but just curious my grandson isn’t turning or prepping to turn or able to hold his head up yet. Is there any concerns? He had a rough delivery but his docs say he’s fine.
Thank you for the info I was kind of anxious because the doctor said my son’s development was delay well he’s 2 months that time and he’s not grasping things that’s why
My baby girl is 15 weeks and is trying to sit up on her own. She still falls over lol how can I help her with this stage of development? I’ve heard mixed things about the sit me up chairs.
Hi Nicole. My little one was born 2.5 weeks early. Hes 11 weeks old now does this mean developmentally he's around 8.5 weeks? He likes lifting his head sometimes on my chest and can support his head most time when carrying him upright. But on the floor he doesn't really lift his head. He kicks.his legs and wriggled a bit but doesn't push up yet. Does he need more practice and time? Trying toys, rolled up towel, doing it when he's not tired etc. He's 90th percentile for head circumference so he does have to contend with a larger head. What do you suggest please? :)
My mother ran a day care and I have my EEC (infant toddler teacher) I have 3 kids, almost 16 yr old, 14 and almost 11yr old. My youngsr was almost 5 weeks early, developmentally you go their full term due date. With my oldest we followed all the "rules" I remember thinking no co sleeping ect. She had a clockwork schedule/nap/play/bed time ect. When my son was born I remember accidently falling asleep one night in my bed while laying sideways breastfeeding him. I woke up to him trying to eat again. We broke a few rules with him and with my youngest, we lost them. Lol I don't think she slept in her crib until she was 3 months old, I don't even remember if we did "tummy time" but she was crawling at 25 weeks. I loved every minute of it. When I think back I so wish I just threw the dang rules out the window with my first. I see all these videos with parents trying to get their baby to walk as early as possible and all I can think is WHY? They will walk (unless of course there's a medical reason) My ex husband mentioned driver's Ed today and I thought "What happened and how did we get here so fast" My point try not to compare and just enjoy your newborn. When I worked I would have one extreme to the next but they all (except again if for a medical reason) they all caught up to each other by 1/1.5 yrs old. Now I have to wait for grandchildren. Lol.
My brother 4 month old baby boy is more active than my baby girl 4 months old is that normal? Ps- They both born date 3-2020 only 4 days different My brother son is feeded by baby milk poweder and my baby girl is feeded by breastfeeding .
This is an Amazing video; thank you So much for creating it ❤ I myself am studying OTA (considering becoming a full-fledged OT) and just gave birth to my 1st baby at the age of 38 (who just made 3mon last Friday).. and I must ask, can you please share with me/us that particular rattle you used with your adorably joyful baby (found in the time frames of 5:54-6:11)? It looks uniquely ergonomic and I would really love to get one for my little boy 🙏🏼💕😊
What's the brand of this cute rattle she grabs? (with light blue half-spheres)? Everything I see in shops in our area is either cheap plastic, or is some kind of beads-on-a-string which I think might be dangerous..
My little girl born at 35 wks. She is 4 wks premature BUT she can roll at her 6 wks CA 1 wk. Is that normal? Now she is 2 mth and a half..almost 3 mth..but she already achieve all the skill she should on her 3rd mth. 😅 Pandemic baby are something..
My first born will be 3 months tomorrow!! I'm so excited watching him hit all these milestones that I didn't even know were milestones until now! My baby is just 10weeks old and she's ticked all the boxes already. Her giggle and screaming gives me soo much joy.
My little one’s legs are constantly going! She’s got strong legs and kicks hard! I love it.❤
My babe turns 3 months tomorrow and these videos are so timely for us. Plus, your little one is so precious to watch!
My little one has been doing all these things since she was 1 month, the difference between my first and second born is like day and night!
Screeching and squealing is normal - phew! I was wondering why my daughter was “in pain” the last few days. This reassured me!
Your baby is Adorable!!! My 3 month old needs a bit more work with tummy time but he is definitely smiling/cooing and discovering his little hands which are now always in his mouth! Great video. Thanks!
Mine too. She’s jz turned 3mths & is struggling to hold her head up during tummy time
Omg the hands in the mouth for real! Did you just let them put their sleeve and hands in their mouth or did you find a way to prevent it?? Her mittens and sleeves are always wet
I know this comment is a year old but my baby girl is exactly the same right now she’s about to turn 3 months :)

Oh amazing video. Mine turns 3 months old tomorrow and am glad she is on the right trajectory. She however needs more tummy time

This is easily one of the most helpful video I’m definitely gonna be showing all my parent friends this ❤
My daughter was 5 weeks early, and her hands are still closed quite a bit. When should I be concerned?
My lil 3 month old has most of the mentioned development except she cant roll yet 🤣 We need more tummy time 😅
Thank you for providing This valuable information :-) my kids are grown but this is helpful for new parents and anyone interested in child development :-)
Thank you Nekole. I'm studying to become an education assistant and you have really condensed this information. Cheers, Andrew
Thanks, Nekole! This is very useful as we navigate through the mysteries of parenthood.

Hi, is a nice Video. My baby have for Months and don’t Turn yet; i need to what can i do for her ?
My little girl started to bring her hands to her mouth at 5 weeks.
I don’t have a baby yet but I’m here to learn. I’m already a worrying dad 😂
My two month old is doing this 😆
Great information!
Mine started with rolling from back to tummy but she seems to get her arm stuck under her when she rolls over
