I'm a Grandma and I made toys for both my children and now grandchildren. When making crinkle tag toys I use the lining plastic from breakfast cereal. It's a food safe plastic that doesn't contain some of the more harmful plastic chemicals. It's strong and durable too, making the tag toys machine washable.

My baby is due in July and this really helped me a lot. Taught me a lot about my own childhood and how I want things to be better for my baby. It’s also very minimal with a huge impact and I realized all the stuff I wanna buy is so unnecessary.

Back here to where it all started alhamdulilah. My life and our children's lives are forever greatly impacted by us watching this video with my 4 month old daughter at the time and then nearly 3 years later i can't believe it has been nearly 3 years i am back here watching preparing for our 2 month old daughter's progression.
I am greatful that you kept these videos up so very grateful. If you ever decide to take these away would you please find a way to make the information at least your commentary and a picture available to see as a guide. I love seeing baby mia can't believe that my suger is so similar to her now that i think of it. I have been wondering who she reminds me of other than my mother's eyes i couldn't figure it out.

I don't know how I got your video recommended but I'm glad I watched it. Thank you.
My first baby is less than a month old and I'm researching stuff as he gets older, step by step getting more knowledgeable. I thought before that I was too absorbed in being pregnant and doing things right at that stage that I forgot to look into things about baby's first month and all the other aspects of life. Now I can see that it is all part of the experience and I can learn as we are walking together on this journey

Whoa, that's a gorgeous baby. This video autoplayed on my TH-cam while I was in the other room. I walked in while the baby was lying down, playing with a stretchy ring. I've never been into babies (except my own). They just don't give me feelings like they do other people, but damn, that's a beautiful baby! I love it when people call my baby "beautiful", so I hope the mommy sees this comment & it brightens her day. Will have to save this video & watch it for baby #2, coming in 2022 🤞

Love this! Been watching so many of your videos about Montessori lately and I love the playlist with activities for the different ages. Hoping to implement your teachings when we get children in the future 🥰
Extra funny when you got to the Norwegian saying "det finnes ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlige klær" (there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing) as I am from Norway and believe it is the first time I've heard the saying in English 😄

I stumbled across the mirror thing when I was babysitting my younger cousin. She didn't sleep through the night yet so when she would cry for a bottle I was at my wits end with how to get her to stop crying while I got a bottle. I noticed that she was interested in a mirror when I walked her by in and my young teen mine struck gold. It made that week so much more manageable. I'm glad that it may have helped her as much as it helped me!

I am a nanny,I worked with so many family,I must say that most of the parents do one thing and that is taking them outside, because that is so easy ,But they don't give attention to their kids. They provide toys but din't help them to explore .They make their kids spoil by holding them all the time and then the babies dont want to play on the floor. They just want some one to be holding them all the time.

I’m really influenced by your videos with handling my pet bird (an African Grey Parrot), parrots has the practical intelligence of a young child and the emotional intelligence of a toddler, they need a lot of stimulation throughout the day and they need to feel included in the “flock”, making him do stuff that I know he can do without help like closing the doors of the cage, doing “human” stuff like cleaning his face by himself with a napkin (he doesn’t really need a napkin for that but it makes him feel included LOL) and just feeling like an independent“flock” member that can do stuff by himself and prepare things by himself made a huge change in our dynamic . I really want to get him some Montessori baby and toddler toys, because I feel like it could really benefit his cognitive and intellectual abilities. where can I find them for pretty chip but in good quality? they could make a really good foot toys for him. thanks!!!

I LOVE that!!! I'm a bird lover myself and I have a 4 month old baby. I was hoping to have a bird already during the pregnancy and get it potty trained and hand tamed and then use the model/rival technique to help teach both the baby and bird to talk together, and later to read & write.
Unfortunately for that plan, several cats and dogs found me after my only bird passed away and they begged for my help, I couldn't turn them away. I love them to death but I REALLY miss having birds flying around my house lol

I found your videos just a few days ago and I am in love and they have been helping me out so much! The first few months with my newborn I was definitely in "survival mode" as she was very fussy and colicky (also my first baby) and now that we have come out of that haze I've been doing a lot of research on parenting philosophys and age appropriate play and your videos have been the most informative and pleasing to watch I'm excited to watch and learn more! Being a first time mom is so hard and I can say you are making it at least a little easier for me!

13:00 There is actually some research out there that language development in babies already starts when they are still in your belly. And they already learn to recognize the voices of their parent(s). So you could already read, sing or tell little rhymes to them while they are still in your belly. Isn't that like super cool.

@@ummehaadi2282 Hi Rabiya! I agree that it is difficult to do chores while a 3 month old is playing by him/herself. I usually put the baby nearby or at least where I can see him while I do chores. Another way I still interact with the baby while doing chores, is talking to the baby from afar and letting the baby know what I am doing. Also, the chores I know that will take longer, like washing the dishes or preparing dinner, I do when the baby is asleep. I hope this help!

This is my 6th or 7th time watching this video, My older sister did some Montessori with her now 8 year old when he was a toddler n I’ve never really paid that much attention. I now have a 5, 3 and now a 2month old and since I’ve discovered your videos online a few months ago I’ve watching a lot of your videos and have really been listening attentively to what you have to say. I also have made a diy octahedron mobile, the gobbi mobile, order the Montessori toddler book(which is an amazing book), and more. Keen to know this as well. I’m sure socializing twins is a different skill set but likely similar to socializing siblings

My babygirl is going to be 5 months and hates tummy time. She’s a big girl so I think it’s harder for her to get herself up. :/ but other than that she’s very active and strong

It is already well known that Music appears to accelerate brain development in young children, particularly in the areas of the brain responsible for processing sound, language development, speech perception and reading skills. My wife and I found that if we make music with our son he really enjoys it and we can bond in a unique way to make the best out of his childhood and also help to develop the brain in a fun way. Do any of you also experiment with this? If so, what are your experiences? Do you have background music on during playtime? What would you like your children to hear and see? Recently I started a kids music channel named Songs For Cool Kids, where I would like to help others experiment with music.
I am very keen to hear from other parents. Thanks in advance. Hope you have a great day.

I think baby clothes looks similiar. My munchkins half laotian/ half Caucasian. They look a little similiar. I'd say she has my complexion but these white ppl get darker than me somexs. & she has really long lashes.

The ribbon toy is the biggest hit on earth with my twin girls. They stay fascinated practically indefinitely. I also made a bigger version with a embroidery ring, which is their favorite.

Hi hapa family! Love your videos . Important question, how do you build your childs concentration and focus to do activities rather than destroying the activity and throwing the pieces?
Ive seen toddlers 1 to 2 years who lack focus and throw things rather than do the activity. Do you have a video on this?
