Hi doc, I saw the screenshot from the citizen report which had a list of whey protein. My query on that is which supplement is best should we select the one in top or should we prefer the one with almost 0 difference between detected and labelled protein levels? I'm asking this bcz even if the supplements at the top of the report have a huge difference in protein levels and I'm seeing this difference as low standard in their product. It makes me think about the actual source of their protein which causes the difference. Can you explain me or clarify me pls?

Hi doctor sir, Am 103 kg,doing weightloss 2.5 kg/month in calorie deficit using healthifyme app to count my calories and also taking herbalife nutritional shake as morning breakfast nutritional shake mix 2 scoop milk 250ml as breakfast total calories 250kcal rest 1000 to 1100 am taking as usual food with limit protein 25% fat 25% carb 50% fibre 25gm to 30gm Am snack lunch pm snack dinner mostly I take protein 60gm to 72 fat within in the limit fibre 25 to 30gm carb within the limit Now my question is.. am in weightloss ,am 103 weight ryt now 1.how many grams protein I take a day? 2.herbalife nutritional shake is ok to have? Note:am not taking any other herbalife products or any other brand supplements ryt now only food and herbalife shake past 4 month lost 10kg 2.5 kg per month dnt feel hungry and any side effects feel sustainable but am worrying about the herbalife shake is it good or bad?

I just ordered chocolate asitis whey protein. Previously i was taking whey isolate. But the taste is so awful and i can't sustain it. Im working night shift.i m 96 kg. 5-11 inch. I was planning to take one scope only after gym. Now im more. Scared to take that also. I have successfully avoided my sugar and tea and coffee addiction. Eating lot of vegetables with limited rice. Not a strict diet. Just long term strategy to stay atleast a little more healthy. Please tell me doctor. Should i stop this protein powder from now? I go to gym atleast 3 or 4 times a week
Try to plan a vegetarian diet with 150gms protein required and 2000calories maxium. You are suggesting 1.6grms of protein per kg bodyweight. Now you may understand the issue.
150 grams is not necessary in the first place .. You only need 1.6 gm of protein per kg to build muscle mass anything more than that has diminishing returns For healthy living 1 gram per kg of lean mass is enough

@@RevUser you aren't thinking but answering. Yes I am on a cut. Even though I aim for 90 gms of protein from vegetarian food it's hard to be under 2000 calories. Why don't people recommend eating according to their goals instead of blaming protein supplements.

People, in general, dont understand the concept of supplementation. Protein supplements like whey are fine as long as you use them to SUPPLEMENT your regular diet. What it means that is that only after you have full 3-4 meals with proper nutrition, you should look at whey to SUPPLEMENT your diet for bodybuilding. Unless you want to get into hardcore bodybuilding, you don't need additional supplements. For a person who goes to the gym 2-3 times a week and does basic stuff and cardio etc you don't need additional supplements if your diet is good with around 80-90 gms of protein a day coming from chicken, eggs, fish, milk etc
